I tend to put ink droplets in the upper right & lower left corners of my layouts. However, I just watched the In the Mood to Scrap video & she made reference to the upper left corner being the key spot. Am I going the wrong direction?? Where do you tend to put your ink spots??

I didn't think there was a right or wrong with them. I just do what I like.

I do mine mainly like you. That's how my eye wanders over the page. Perhaps she was suggesting how to embellish an often neglected place on the page? There really is no wrong way.

I don't use ink splatters, but if I did, I would put them in the spots in the way I would read a book, from top left to bottom right...unless my design was right side heavy.

I think it totally depends on your design. Sometimes I use ink to add something to a blank area of the page. Other times I want to emphasize an are or add more weight. The color contrast of the ink makes a difference too. Using a dark ink on a light background is really going to show up.
