Do you all keep the kits in their original packaging or do you have another way of organizing and storing PL? I want to make it really accessible so it's not a hassle to pull everything I need together from around my craft room. I'd love to know what you guys do!

I'm not using any of the official PL kits yet. But I have corraled everything I use for PL into an organizer tray on my desk. It has:

Sn@p and other 3x4, 4x6, and 6x6 pads
washi tapes
arrow punch
corner rounder
misc. embellies
wood veneers
etc.

I keep meaning to post a pic on my blog. This is version #3. As my PL stash grows, so does my storage, lol. But I do love having everything out on my desk, easy to grab and use.

There has been several posts about it, try searching PL organizing, or project life organizing.

I have a large desk organizer thing that hold my cards, other Snap stuff, and stamps. Then I have a tray that I toss everything I want to keep for PL, pictures, tickets, etc

I have just changed how I organize my supplies, so I'll have to get back to you on how it's working for me.

I use this container for my page protectors, 12x12 cardstock, larger items & 2 photos containers w/my photos.

I use this one for everything else. I've taken out the photo containers on the right, leaving that space open for some larger items. I put journaling cards, corner rounder, date stamp, journaling pen, acrylic stamps, small stamp pads, day & date stickers, washi tape, etc. in the photo boxes on the left side. I am going to use this idea (go about 15 min. in) for keeping the journaling cards sorted. I also think I'm going to label the photo cases, but haven't gotten around to it yet.

So far I'm liking the fact that I can carry both cases & my album w/little difficulty, since I do PL either at my kitchen table or at a crop and therefore need to keep it portable.

Like I said, I'll let ya know how I'm likin' it.

Thanks for the ideas! I did do a search on project life organization and didn't find too much. Maybe I'm searching wrong? I've also been looking on youtube and pinterest w/o much luck. I'm trying to keep things accessible, but not *too* visible because I get distracted by too much clutter. I work on other things in my craft room since it doubles as an office so it's a bit hard to manage all the "stuff". I don't need my PL stuff to be portable because really the only place I'd want to work on it is in my craft space. My DR table is always set so it'd be a pain to clear it off, lol. I did switch out the decorative smaller shelves in my room for larger ones I had on hand from a Target sale. I mostly want to collect all the bits and pieces I have in my stash and use them up. Currently most everything is stored in photo boxes stacked up in my closet. They're well labeled but a pain in the booty to get to. If I come up with something I will share!!

I keep blank and completed pages in the album.

I recently bought the Raskog cart from Ikea which I love to store most of my PL related items. CTMH also makes these storages boxes and the medium size is perfect for PL style cards. You can find examples of both on You Tube and Pinterest.

I re-organized all of my PL supplies and really pared down in January. My core kit stays in the box - I put this years Seafoam in last year's more compact Cobalt box - and use a few Rubbermaid Bento boxes from Target to keep other supplies together. I posted about it on my blog not too long ago: http://messilyeverafter.blogspot.com/2013/01/project-life-reorganized.html?m=1

You can see a post I shared on Friday about how I store my cards.

Back to report that I'm liking my system so far.

I went to a crop on Saturday and PL was the only thing I brought and I was able to carry it all in from the car in one trip. I was able to set up & jump right in pretty quickly. I could find all my supplies easily and clean-up was a breeze.

I don't have as much product as some of you gals, but for anyone who is working w/only one kit & needs to keep it transportable (is that a word? lol) this might work for ya.
