I don't mean glitter paper that flakes off glitter...more the POW glitter paper from American Crafts or, especially I'm curious about the thicker clear coated glitter paper that you can buy in those DCWV paper pads. They seem really thick and I wonder how the blade would do on the paper. I don't want to ruin my blade...so I thought I'd ask first. Thanks.

I've actually cut the old-style glitter paper with my Silhouette SD and it worked pretty well, slowed down, on double cut. It probably shortened the life of my blade, but it made a great birthday banner for my daughter

What setting for the blade depth do you use for the DCWV thick glitter paper?

I just cut some stampin up glitter paper. I went into my settings where you can select your paper, and selected glitter paper (I think it recommended a 5 or 6 on the blade) and I did a double cut. It cut beautifully.

I have a bunch of POW glitter paper that I have yet to use... BUT I have cut the thicker type of glitter paper without any trouble at all. I did have the blade set to 5 or 6, did a double cut, and had the speed set to 3 I think. It cut beautifully. AND my design was quite intricate! However, just so you know, it did dull my blade quickly and I found that the first few cuts afterwards had specks of glitter on them.
