I've had bad allergies both spring and fall for 20 years with lots of symptoms. New this year is hoarseness and I wonder if it is related... Do you experience this? thanks!

That's me. I loose my voice all the time as a result of seasonal allergies. I always sound way worse than I am, so I find myself telling people "I'm really not sick, it's just allergies." But literally I wake up with little to no voice all the time or I sound like someone who has smoked all their life (like my grandmother at 80). Sometimes it will last for days and sometimes just a few hours in the morning. I've tried hot teas, honey, ice water, but so far I haven't really found anything that helps, other than just waiting it out. Allergies are the pits!
