I am home alone all day, into the evening by myself. But I prefer to scrap/craft at night. I enjoy going into my scraproom after my husband goes to bed, it seems I am more creative at night. Anyone else?

I am much more creative from 9pm on, so I often do my scrapping at that point. Day time is generally a waste for me -- my brain is much sharper at night.

I can scrap anytime, but prefer to scrap at night when everyone is asleep. I put on a good movie and scrap away.

I am absolutely more creative at night time. But I also know to reserve more physical work (housekeeping, shopping, whatever ... anything but just SITTING) for as early in the day as possible.

For me the creativity/night thing is linked to the fact that I always feel like I have to have a certain amount of "work" done every day before I can relax and "play."

For me it's actually an ADHD thing. ADHD brains get more creative at night. I'm also home alone all day, and into the night when DH goes to bed. I'll dabble a bit when he's home, but once he and the fur kids are tucked in bed that's usually when I'll start to feel more creative. I WISH I could take advantage of all this time sitting here during the day, but no. I like it at night. So much so that we moved my scrap space into the kitchen just this month so I could create while he is asleep (my stuff used to be in our bedroom).

Yes!!! Pretty much only like to scrap at night. It seems like if I even try before 9 pm I just can't get into it. Its been super hard the last 4 years to get any scrapping done because I've been pregnant or had a baby for EVER. Lol.

I often try to scrap as soon as I get home from work around 6 but I just cant seem to make any progress until after 8:30-9:00. On the weekend I can work on one page all day and get nowhere and as soon as the sun goes down I will get 2 pages done. So no it's not just you.

I love scrapping at night. For one reason is the kids are in bed and I get along time. I can't do it every night since someone has to wake up with the kids and attend them, but I enjoy it over the weekend. Since I am pregnant I usually am way too tired for late night scrapping, but I see myself going back it soon. I like to scrap during the evening on a nice day too.

Same with me. I get everything done by afternoon, then I watch TV and then I create!!

I am a night-owl by nature. I get re-energized around 8pm every night and could stay up all night, except I have to go to work the next day and I can't. But, I'd rather scrap at night when the house is quiet and the hubby is a sleeping beauty.

I tend to get my projects started at night. I just keep on scrapping until I hit a roadblock. Then I finish up the next morning. Sleep usually gets me beyond whatever trouble I was having.

I have always been more creative at night as well. When I was in high school I would stay up all night and work on my art projects. Now I can stay up and srap but I am getting older and I do need my beauty sleep, so I tend to be a little creative early in the morn on my days off!!

I get more creative after 9 or 10 a night. Two times in the last week I stayed up till 3:30 am and didnt even realize it was that late. I have always been a night owl.

I used to be a night owl and while that seems to be changing I'm still not an early bird. I've always wished I was an early to rise type of person. Anyway, I used to stay up late scrapping all the time. I'd tear myself away at 3 am and finally go to bed. That was when my kids were little and I was a little desperate for some quiet time. I have a tween and a teen now so I have no problem getting some me time these days so afternoons work best for me these days.

Since I work during the day I pretty much have to scrap at night (and since DH has been studying for his MCAT pretty much nonstop since January, I've had a lot of time ), but I really feel more creative during the day.

Even on the weekends during the summer, though, I still scrap in the evenings because I like to be outside and have time to spend with DH helping work on the yard or whatever while the sun is out.

I do. I used to scrap until 2 or 3 if I didnt have to work the next day but I have a bedtime now. When the baby goes to bed I usually go with her because Im exhausted and need the rest. We were both up wayyyyy past bedtime tonight because we went to our local relay for life. It was amazing and heart touching and we had a great time. My favorite part was when they lit the sky lanterns for the memorial. It was one of the most beautiful sights I have ever seen. And for all you Tangled fans, it was like the "floating lights" and all of the kids loved it!!

We hope to light some of our own sky lanterns next year!! And Im going to enjoy scrapping all our fun photos.

Yes, especially once the kids are in bed! My husband is in a band, so I spend most Friday and Saturday evenings scrapping when he's out.

Well, considering I am working (on a few creative things for my site) and the clock says 3:41 AM, I guess I would have to say yes!

I have always been a night owl and am much more creative and productive at night. I so hate doing thinking stuff early in the a.m.!

Funny story: our neighbor told my DH he always knows when DH is out of town because all our lights are on until at least 4 a.m. (yup, that would be me, working all night when DH is gone! ) Our neighbor is also a nightowl. I guess I feel safer knowing he's keeping an eye on the house when DH is gone.

I am still wide awake and want to work more, but I also have to be human tomorrow so I better head to bed...soon...maybe...

Not me...I'm more creative during the day. I always feel like in a hurry at night and tired soon.

And I like how papers look in "natural" light.

But I can surely understand the reasons of the night-owls here

Same here. My creativity starts to kick in around 10. I usually can't scrapbook though because my scrap desk is in the bedroom. It's the only place it would fit. My husband even offered to sleep on the couch a few times so I could scrap but I felt bad kicking him out and I couldn't create. He's such a great guy! I try to scrapbook during the day but it doesn't work. We'll be moving soon, so my desk will be somewhere other than the bedroom. (hopefully)

I do, but my scrapping space is in the basement. There's one small overhead light bulb and no outlets to plug in a lamp, so I have to do it during the day when I can. There's 2 big windows so plenty of natural light. I could haul a bunch of stuff upstairs, but that's a pain.

I would love to be creating in my studio right now but I am too busy Peaing in bed when I should be sleeping. Im taking new vitamins for energy and I think they are disrupting my sleep cycles. They dont contain any stimulants. Just B vitamin complex with vitamin C but I miss my good sleep. I have been getting by on less sleep though so maybe I should continue. Took an hour to get dd to go down for the night but she will most likely sleep till 9am so I am blessed with a good baby. I find that I need to go to bed within about an hour of her bedtime.

The scrapper in me wants to scrap til 3am and then pray the baby sleeps till 10 and her dad can watch her after that but the mommy in me is like " Oh look! Your bed is soooooo comfy!!" and yet, here I Pea.
