@paperpilekitten - I think anchors look sweet with really any everyday project with kids - especially boys but that's just my opinion! Enjoy !

I tried posting from the iPhone App, but no joy!!

It is 3:45pm here in London and I have been scrapping since about 11:00. Just uploaded Challenge #1 and am part way through Challenge #2.
Challenge #9 is really going to be a challenge for me as I don't have a digital die-cutting machine, so will resort to printing the images and cutting them out!!
Other than putting washing in and out of the machine, I am here until we go out for dinner at 7:30 UK time. One thing I have learnt is that National Trust Membership Cards do not like going through the washing machine! My OH left his in a shirt pocket, fortunately it ran out at the end of April thi year.

I have to admit that I haven't gotten into Elementary yet, only because I missed the first few and want to watch them all in order. Hoping to catch those on reruns and then watch the ones that are waiting on my DVR now.

And I also LOVE Jonny Lee Miller! Have any of you seen him in Emma for the BBC? Or in Eli Stone when it was one?

I have a question! I tend to pick too many pictures for a layout because I just love them all! How many is too many? I wish I had the discipline to scrap one picture perfectly

For my 30th birthday party last year I had sooooo many photos and wouldn't have time to scrap them all. I picked my faves to scrap and then bought some divided page protectors for the rest, so the extra photos can go right next to the 12x12 layouts. Kind of PL style but mixed in with a normal album. I'm going to do this in future too when I have too many pictures to scrap!

Regarding the number of photos per layout, I say the more the merrier. I typically have 3 to 4. I use photos to tell my story. Of course that may mean less white space. It depends on how I crop the photos. Some of them do get cropped quite a bit. Others, not so much.

And you know, about anchors, which I love, I know someone who used a saying on their page about their hubby...something like He is my Anchor...
and used anchor motifs.

@senoritascrapper- ooh, that's a good idea! I don't have a ton of Star Wars photos for every day- mostly just when I go to Celebration, and that's only every other year. Maybe you could have a pocket in your PL every week that's just for Star Wars?

YES! My boys love star wars too, we might be naming my baby Luke Skywalker if it's up to them. Or after one of the Fett's IDK.

@LonR - true story: dh and I were at a game store years ago. We heard a mom and dad calling to their child, "Annie - come here!" Naturally, we assumed they were calling to a girl and then we see a boy pouting and heading towards his parents. They say, "Annie! Anakin Luke Skywalker - you come here right now!" And then we realized, they had named their son Ani, not Annie.

I like Elementary too but Michelle, it has a lot of twists, can't watch it while you're scrapping or you'll miss something.

Sassiescrapper your movie story! And where are these wonderful movie theaters where you can have alcohol?!

Ruth.Bonser, I love "Elementary" and I agree that they've done a great job of the modern Holmes/Watson relationship. And I've always been an Aidan Quinn fan; wish he were in it a little bit more. Maria

@sassiescrapper- he is indeed playing a bad guy, but we still don't know who (darn you, JJ Abrams!!). I think it's a good role for him, actually, since Sherlock is kind of an anti-hero, anyway. Benedict plays sociopathic well!

I'd love to see him as a villain on Doctor Who!

I like lots of photos too, most of the time. I did a two-pager with 15 of them not too long ago. Two-pagers with 4 to 8 is more coommon for me.

I love Elementary and Sherlock on BBC. Can't get enough of British crime series. Okay...chat's almost over. I might actually get some scrapping done.

I lost my stitching needle and spent about 20 minutes looking for it Found it though! This is probably why I don't use buttons often lol

@ruth.bonser- great question! I actually tend to not include terribly personal or difficult things in my scrapbooks. I'm not trying to edit them out of my life, they just have a different place- in a journal or something like that. If I don't want the journaling on a page or Project Life to be seen, I'll either make it hidden or blur it out when I post the photo online.

@melissa - you are missing out! It is so good. And yes, he's so great in Emma but I think the first time I saw him was in Hackers. Love that movie! On a silly side note, did y'all know he was married to Angelina Jolie? They were in Hackers together.

My four year old little girl Elizabeth is a big Doctor Who fan. She watched The Angels Take Manhattan with my husband before the new series started and started to cry. "Daddy, why did Amy let the angel touch her? Why did Amy have to leave?" OMG! When he told me that, I almost started to cry! Elizabeth loved Amy and Rory!

@triciaromo1123 - Another great scrappy question! The "too many" point really depends on your style, so I can't give an exact number for you, but in *most* cases on my typical single page layouts it's 1-3. I do some with more photos and also some 2 page layouts, but I tend to have a slightly different style on those types of pages.

If you're feeling like you want to include more photos in your albums but having a hard time getting them onto an artistic layout, maybe consider printing the others you want to include at 4x6 and placing them in a 4x6 page protector in your album? I do that on several of my album pages, and I've included an image of one below.
