i think it's mostly from a creative live that i have been cultivating for 20 years. Honestly, that's where the inspiration comes from. THAT and A LOT OF MESS UPS AND MISTAKES> seriously. A zillion million mistakes.

I just love your upbeat positive attitude, that is almost more inspiring to me than any layout could be.

Does anyone else dislike preparing/printing photos? If I have photos printed, I could scrap all day. But having to edit/resize/print photos really slows me down.

Ugg! Me too! I enjoy doing one or two photos...but to go through a stack that I need to get printed out so I can go scrap crazy just drives me nuts.

I have not been very productive today. Just watching videos, pinning, chatting, and leaving praise. Hoping to get some creative time tonight and tomorrow. And luckily, I have a day off during the week too.

It does take a lot of time to get the photos just right. Lately, I've been printing out a batch of my favorites in different sizes and then challenging myself to get them to fit on a page. Sometimes it work, sometimes it doesn't. But it is much easier to get started when I have the pics in hand.

I've been using old photos alot also becasue i can get sucked into Photoshhop and diddle over a single photo for hours- when they're printer, just use them on pages.

DH looked at a layout I did of my kids from 1990 and he was surprised! I told him it was a cute photo and no reason not to go back and scrap those.

I run out of space about 20 minutes in the layout. For some reason, I must pull out every single matching item I own. I need options! It makes for a very messy desk.

Hmm, Jean, it may be your washi...

Don't actually remember buying this roll

Printing photos is also the most boring part to me. Once I've chosen which I want to use I want to start right away, no lag time. And I print from home, so it's not THAT long a wait.

Printing/editing photos are not my fave, especially since I'm not computer savvy and I don't have a photo printer at home.

I always have to upload and print them at Costco. So, I like to preplan my pages and get all my stuff organized (kitted) and then pick up my photos to scrap. What a process. sigh. I still enjoy scrapping though! And maybe if I'm a good girl, I'll get lucky and get a Selphy or a Charm this year.

Ooh, welcome to scrapping, you'll love it! I'd suggest challenge 2 the sketch, or challenge 7 be inspired by a garden girl. You can fit any supplies into those and there's tons of inspiration!
