Love this thread! I never had a pair in the first go 'round (although I started scrapping with CM in 1994). But I work at a church, and a couple years ago found a pair of the beloved CM scissors in a box of crayons in a cupboard of children''s Sunday School supplies. You can bet I snatched those out of there, replaced them with a couple Fiskars school scissors, and hoarded those little blue-handled beauties right back to my own scrap room! I have three pairs of scissors I love: Tim Holtz, Cutterbee, and the mighty CM!

You can take them to places that sharpen tools or even try fabric places that have sharpeners.

I got mine in 2002. LOVE them. I can't imagine not having them. I'm pretty selfish too, I won't let anyone borrow them! Let us know how they work after you sharpen them!!

No, no, never stealing from the children! It was a SAFETY issue! Just think how sharp and pointy those classic CM scissors are--not suitable for children! They are so much SAFER with those dull rounded children's safety scissors...yeah, that's it!

I still have mine too, and they are my favorite pair. I went to the Home Fabric store and found the scissor sharpener made by Fiskars and when I got to the check out the lady told me that is what they use to sharpen all their scissors in the whole store. I tried it and it seems to have worked really well. I have had my little blue scissors for over 9 years, I don't know why but they are my favorite pair. Must be just the perfect size.

I have 2 pair from way back in the day. I have 3 or 4 other pair of scissors that I use for various tasks, but the CM ones are by far my favorite and most used.
