We all have our quirks etc so I want to know, when creating a page, what do you have to have on it to call it finished in your mind right now????

For me its droplet of ink, yep a little late to the party, but it gives it just the little bit more. ALL my pages thus far (last month) have had it, hmmmmm. What about you?

I feel the need to add machine stitching to practically every one of my layouts. They feel incomplete to me without it.

Lately, for me, it has been jewels, rhinestones, pearls or enamel dots . but I am quickly developing an addiction to wood veneer as well

I have not scrapbooked in a while and if I were to make a layout I think mine would be veneer. I have been shopping and collecting for awhile now.

These days...enamel dots and flair. But ask me in a month or two and it'll probably be something totally different. I go through phases.

Inking the edges, journaling, and adding the date.

I also really like wood veneers and Thickers lately. Plus lots of layers.

A hidden heart somewhere on the page. I used to hide a bee sticker on my daughter Brigid's pages and a ladybug on Aileen's pages. Now I just hide a heart.

The date has to be on it somewhere to be finished, but I almost always ink the edges of my papers or run a marker around the edge. That technique just helps things stand out more.

The date the pic was taken.

I'm too all over the place with embellishments to say one or another has to be on the page.

Faux stitching with a marker!!! Even though I may machine stitch on a LO, it seems I just have to add the faux stitching, too. I just love doodling those dash lines!!

Lately for me it has been some kind of label to anchor a cluster. A sticker label, punched label or chipboard.
Washi also shows up in a lot of my LO's now.

The edges are always inked at least 99% of the time.

embellies related to the theme of the page... could be color or motif or even an emotional connection. ie. a globe for a travel picture, etc. And I love using correlated quotes from a famous person.

I really have to try that! Still haven't gotten around to doing it. I guess I'm afraid I will become addicted, too! LOL!

I like die cuts. Flowers, butterflies, hearts, etc. and I double them up with pop dots and then pop dot them again onto the page to give a 3-D effect.
