Here's another one for sewing. I have a machine, just have never learned how to use it.
|Posted: 5/4/2013 4:47:23 PM|Sewing on a page. LOVE the look, but I don't have my sewing machine set up in my scrap room, and it just seems like so much work to drag it out...
|Posted: 5/4/2013 5:02:33 PM|
Hmmmmm...... maybe handstitching?? I'm a try everything at least once kinda girl!!!
|Posted: 5/4/2013 5:06:06 PM|
Sewing...I love the look but I'm not that great at it (just do baby blankets really) and it is a lot effort for me to pull out my sewing machine so I just haven't even wanted to try and attempt it on a LO. I really should just go for it, lol
Loc: Cape Town, South Africa
|Posted: 5/4/2013 5:08:00 PM|Gelatos, machine stitching (but have done it by hand), a manual die-cutting machine and embossing plates with it...
Just a few things that come to mind. There are so many awesome things to try, but my budget doesn't allow it all - at least not yet
Loc: Home Sweet Home
|Posted: 5/4/2013 5:11:54 PM|Gelatos, but I just bought 36 of those bad boys so it's about to go down.

Loc: Bristol, TN
|Posted: 5/4/2013 5:21:49 PM|Stitching - I love the look but honestly I don't have a place to keep my machine set up, so it doesn't seem worth the effort to drag it out
I just bought some enamel dots on 2Peas today.
And I found some fabulous sequins (a rainbow pack with silver, gold, orange, red, pink, purple blue, green, and aqua) at Michael's for like $3! They were in the kids craft aisle. So I'm excited to finally use those two products on my pages.

Misting. Too messy and I don't need another habit that will force me to buy one in every color!

Misting, I love the look, but have never attempted!

I think I've tried pretty well everything once (though some things I haven't got on well with and not repeated!).
Mine is more the format - I've never done 8.5x11 pages or pocket page protector scrapping.

Sewing on a page/card
Washi I do have 3x rolls, but have never used them....
....I'm sure there is lots I haven't tried really.....
Although I did do a wedding album, and printed out the song they had at the wedding onto vellum, but took it to the dressmaker to sew onto the page...my excuse, she had the *correct* thread already
|Posted: 5/4/2013 5:58:43 PM|Gelatos. But I want to change that. I really like what Wilna does with them.

I have not used Gelatos, but I have used watercolors and watercolor pencils. I may have to check these Gelatos out!

embossing powders. If I want that slick, dimensional look, I just go over my design with glossy accents. But I have recently been toying with giving it a shot.

Me too for misting ... but want to! Also, copics ... I love stamping sometimes, but usually just a text "saying". I don't have the patience to sit and colour in all those little spaces and do all the shading, although it looks awesome on other people's work. I did try machine stitching once, but I was so afraid of creasing the paper that I've never tried it again.

Sewing and gelatos but I am oping to get some soon to play with!
|Posted: 5/4/2013 8:50:45 PM|I've tried all the mentioned things, and can't think of anything else. That's not to say that I did those things well. I haven't used a ton of techniques with my project life pages yet. Does that count?

Gesso. I'm too impatient for the dry time.
|Posted: 5/4/2013 9:00:54 PM|
Gelatos. Also, watercolour on a scrapbook page (although I've done it on watercolour paper - just not together).
