Seemed very odd

Our LSS didn't even post anything about NSD. But did post about the citywide sidewalk sale they were participating in.

I worry about our hobby. I wish the remaining LSS's would get more excited and want to celebrate NSD.

That is weird. The only one we have left (besides A's) was having big crops all weekend.

We don't have any LSS anymore...but I did notice that neither M's nor HL had crops today...given that they do occasionally I would have thought they'd have one today.

Sometimes I think we are the only ones that know NSD even exists! Come on! It is our Super Bowl!

I don't think most of the LSS in my state were doing anything for NSD.

That is sad.

I don't have any LSS near me so I don't get to go to a crop anywhere on NSD. My local scrapping friends couldn't get together today either so I was on 2peas.

Hmm. That does sound odd. My local store had all sorts of stuff planned, but I didn't make it.

I stopped into my LSS Memory Bound today and it was packed! I was so glad to see it. I don't know what I would do if they weren't there.

My LSS didn't mention anything in their newsletter at all. It's an awesome store but the last couple of times I was there it was just me and the clerks. And this is in Utah, scrapbooking capitol of the USA!

I want into one if the LSSs near me on Friday. They've take about 1/3 of the store and put wedding dresses in it.
The rest of the store has about 1/2 the stock it used to have.
I don't think I saw anything new either.
And there's a For Lease sign.
So I asked about it and the girl working says she doesn't know what they're doing big maybe moving.
I'm guessing they'll close for good when their lease is up

I know a couple of my "not so close" stores had at least crops. I loved when it was a big party with fun, prizes and cropping.

I do worry about the hobby, and I use that worry to justify my hoarding LOL.

At this point, as long as I can find adhesive, I'm good until probably 2065. Since I'll be 103 years old by then, I think I'm safe.

That is very odd. I thought most LSS would have lots of events on NSD.

I didn't make it to my LSS but they had their garage sale and a make-n-take this weekend. I would assume it was packed, it always is. I was surprised they choose not to have a crop this weekend. I worked at home alone but it would have been fun to work with others.

There's only one LLS 'near' me and it's 50 minutes away. Three others closed about 2 or 3 years ago. I live for special events like CKC and Play All Day, even though I have to travel 2 hours to get to them.

Our LSS had some activities planned for the day. My friends cropped there and had a great time. I wasn't able to crop, but went by. She had some sales, make n takes etc. Thankful we still have a LSS. I do support her whenever I can.

I really have enough stuff to last the rest of my life. The only thing I'm worried about is adhesive.

My LSS had a NSD sale (30% off!) and a crop going on in the back, I had my daughter so I didn't get to do any of the crop stuff but I saw about 5 ladies back there.
