I've been in a low spell for creative juice lately. Hopefully I will move creator to the top of the list soon!

Ugh. I hate that!! I have to change that right away. The creating takes more of my brain power and the shopping/organizing/purging is just fun for me. I'd rather organize something than eat chocolate. Most days.
The good news is - my shopping is like $20 a month. If that.

1 and 2 kinda go hand in hand for me as I organize as I purchase/receive product. I'm a slow scrapper, so I don't complete projects as quickly as I make purchases, and I only purge once or twice a year but when I do it's a big purge.

Well the order changes often based on season and time of life. When I was a SAHM I was creator, organizer and rarely a shopper but never a purger. And when I went back to work full-time I was a shopper, creator, organizer and never a purger.
And then once redoing a family office and creating a personal space for scrapbooking that I love I am a creator, rarely a shopper or organizer and never a purger.
And that is my order currently.

And.. I don't purge
|Posted: 5/6/2013 3:58:31 AM|Ooooh, such a good question! Really made me think
So, yeah, I whish I was a creator first and sort of bypassed organizing and shopping until it was necessary, but that is certnaily not the case!
It varies from week to week depending on what zone I am in. I do have weeks when I do nothing else than create, but MOST of the time I would say I am a:
1. Organizer (love finding new storage and sort my stuff)
2. Creator (more now than ever, finally!)
3. Shopper (when I don't have time to scrap, I shop as a substitute)
4. Purger (reformed! I used to be a hoarder)
Allthough, my view of purging is that I am actually starting to use a whole lot of my stuff! At long last!
Thought about why I put Organizing at the top...
For me it's a big part of the hobby. Maybe it's even a hobby in itself, just organizing all the pretty stuff... It's a sort of zen thing, when i feel i am doing somthing that makes me be in control. I am sure Freud would have something to say about that...

I wish it were:

4. purger - I actually NEVER purge my stuff
|Posted: 5/6/2013 9:59:11 AM|
I am getting better with my shopping and buying only what I know I will use. I love to organize, it keeps me looking at my stash. I LOVE to create but often feel too tired or stressed to do it. And I don't purge as much since my shopping habits are getting better.

However, there are large gaps between Shopper/Creator and Organizer/Purger. I wish I could create as quickly as I buy. At least I still love 95% of my stash, even the stuff that's several years old that I haven't used yet.
|Posted: 5/6/2013 3:14:04 PM|1. Shopper
3. Organizer (usually a failure lol)
4. Collector ( That's why I have to shop so much)
I think Purging is a foreign concept to me. I really, REALLY need to do a major purge so I can actually organize what I have left and remember what I have to use. Although when I purge it all goes to my kids' supplies. They aren't getting my good stuff!

I think my creator and shopper are tied for first. Then organizer and purger last.

Purger doesn't rank. The supplies that I don't use just get shared with my kids so they never actually leave the house!
|Posted: 5/6/2013 9:15:28 PM|I can't rank them because it seems all I do is shop.
Need to shop less and create more.

I could buy product every single day...however, since that's not financially feasible, I do not.
I love to sb, but I love to come up with ideas & buy for them more than doing most if the time.
