I haven't been around 2Ps for a bit, but I logged in today and was surprised by an AWESOME pmail from the new Marketing Director at Simple Stories.

Some of you might remember my Toilet Paper Album project where I realized too late that an item I used was missing a Y. You can see it here: Simple Stories card missing Y in Gallery

Well, apparently the new director saw my post here on 2ps and she apologized and is sending me a goodie package.

WOW! I am very thankful and very impressed that a company searched me out to apologize and is treating me to a goodie bag.

Customer Service IS NOT DEAD my friends!!!!

Thank you Simple Stories!!!

They are WONDERFUL.
My friend and I teach at our LSS and use their products. When we ordered from them at CHA they said they would include a free 6x6 Documented pad for each one of our students, when our order arrived they were included...totally free. LOVE them!!

OP! What I'm really intrigued by are your toilet paper mini books. Did you flatten the core of the roll out to make the covers? How does this work? Your art is beautiful.

Didn't they have some papers with misspelled words too? You should add it to your blog journeyfan!

That is some good customer service! Now when are they going to have a warehouse sale?

I feel so awesome reading this! Thank you!!!

I do flatten them. I squish them between books but I did read online that they can be flattened by rolling through a Big Kick/Shot type of machine.

I use 6 cores for each album. The cores are my pages and the opening is where I slip a tag inside.

I ink/paint the core and then make the binding strip. I use a TON of scortape and my ATG for the adhesives. When doing embellishments I do use glossy accents or diamond glaze depending on which one is in reach.

I love them! I watched tons of awesome videos on YouTube of different peoples creations and then picked my path. There is one person who does a wrap around cover with a magenetized closure which I will make one of these days. It looks so sleek and modern that I love it!

Thank you for taking time to share a compliment. It really brightened my day!
