Which would you prefer and why?

|Posted: 5/8/2013 9:36:58 PM|Do you mean the Cameo or Portrait? The only difference is the size of them. They both use the same software and same blades. They both cut the same and draw the same.
I like the option of having a 12 inch cutter as I am a scrapbooker. I like the option of drawing on a 12x12 background or to draw journaling right on the layout.

|Posted: 5/9/2013 12:01:52 AM| Here is a recent post asking the same question. As I said in my answer on the other question, I use the SD card on the Cameo all the time. I would miss that feature if I owned the Portrait.

There is a silhouette SD and the portrait. Both machines are very very similar. The only difference is the SD has a slot for a memory card where you can install files and cut files directly from the card. The Portrait doesn't have the slot for a memory card.
The Cameo also has a memory card slot and allows larger sized paper = 12x12 inches
