My son just joined the Navy and I want to scrap everything starting from the beginning for him.

Can you recommend any lines that have either a Navy or patriotic theme?

Thanks so much!!

There is a lot out there but not a whole bunch 'newer' stuff. I hoard Air Force stuff since my son will be starting any time now.

Scrapbook Customs has a lot.. and if you Google Navy Scrapbooking supplies it looks like that is what I have recently...

They don't come out with new military stuff that often so whenever I see something different I grab it.

"Down by the shore" from fancy pants has some great anchor paper. Then the new "Atlantic" collection from studio calico is great!! I just ordered it then "uncharted waters" by Glitz designs has a yellow anchor paper. And there is also anchor washi tape! My husband is in the Navy so I always know what nautical/anchor theme paper is out there! I'll try and link up theses items for you

Down by the shore anchor paper sold out, sorry but you can request it so when it's back in you know. Plus check out the other amazing things in their collection

Atlantic anchor punch

Atlantic paper I just linked the collection pack, it's a great nautical collection! Plus they have anchor brads and cork stickers which are great

Uncharted waters anchor paper again this one is sold out, but I found it in my local scrapbook store! Glitz is also the one with anchor washi tapeand an anchor roller

I haven't found many patriotic themed papers, but with the Fourth of July coming we can stock up then I'm sure!! Lol

I don't know of any lines or collectons with military or patriotic themes. But I do find randoms single sheets in stores that have single sheet "open stock" I stock up on the camo patterns when I find them.

Also, since you are new, don't limit yourself to just military/patriotic. It will get to looking the same VERY quickly.

His unit will have a nick name, and he may earn a nickname (one of my came back from basic nicknamed pteredactyl Stickboy) that will lend themselves to using other papers. I used a dinosaur/ huge foliage theme for a pteredactyl page. I also use papers that match the theme for his geographical location.. beautiful autumn leaves and snow papers for photos taken in upstate NY at Fort Drum for instance.

My other son is stationed in Hawaii right now. I use ocean/beach themes with just a little military stuff for him.
