Okay so after all these years of scrapbooking. I think I am giving up on strap hinge albums and converting to D Ring. Why I waited so long, I have no idea!

My question is do you attach your layout to anything for reinforcement before sliding it into the page protector, i.e., a thick weight cardstock?

Thanks!

I place two layouts, back to back into the page protector. Whatever the layout was designed on, whether it was patterned paper or cardstock, is all that I use. Nothing extra.

You maybe should use something in between if you are using thin paper as the background. I tend to use card stock or think patterned paper

The thickness of the page protector combined with the layout's weight has always been enough in my albums.
