You all have been so helpful in answering my PL questions as I am new to this!
Are there albums that are 1) good quality, 2) found at michaels or hobby lobby, and 3) are useable for project life's 12x12?
If so....which are your favorites?

|Posted: 5/9/2013 2:00:24 PM|I like the MAMBI (Me and My Big Ideas) page protectors that can be found at Michaels. They seem to be working for me and they are for 12x12 albums. Hope that helps.

Thanks! I was more looking for ideas on the Album itself.
Any favorites there?

The peas seem to really like WRMK albums. Once I found them I haven't looked at any other ones. You can get them at Js ( I found them with the photo albums not scrapbook albums), Js online, some Ms and some Targets.
|Posted: 5/9/2013 2:27:20 PM|I am using the We R Memory Keepers albums this year - found them at Target and they are wonderful!!! They come in Red, Aqua, Black and I think another couple colors too!! Best part...they are a bit cheaper than the PL albums!!

Personally, the Becky Higgins albums are my absolutely favorite albums ever. 2nd would be the Amy Tangerine albums, 3rd WR Memory Keppers. I really don't like the look of the leather albums personally, which is why I love the Becky Higgins albums.
Quality - I have used her albums since 2010, so far they're all in good condition.
They are going to carry a few of the albums at HL and Michael's (HL as soon as this weekend).

I like the WRMK albums. I find the AC ones allow the page protectors drooped.

Once I tried WRMK albums, I was completely SOLD! Holy cow, what a difference! Great for albums in progress because it's so easy to add or remove pages.
I have many unused older albums that use the metal rod things. I may use some of them - replacing the rods with the EZ load straps - when I get the pages I'm working on finished and am satisfied with how they look.
I won't even consider using anything but the 3 ring binders for pages I'm working on any more, since moving pages once they're strapped in is quite a job.

I use American Crafts. I don't have a Michael's or a Hobby Lobby, so I don't know what they carry?

I have one American Crafts, and one Recollections brand from Michael's. Both are doing well. I love the Recollections because it comes in lovely colors. It is stuffed to the max, and carries the load (maybe 50 full pages) with no problem. I suspect that the Recollections album was actually manufactured by American Crafts because they look so similar.

I like the We R albums best too, but I also like the American Crafts albums

Another vote for WRMK albums, lots of color choices, Love them. I scrap 12x12 and also divided page protectors; I tend to mix and match!
What can I post about?

I am really liking the WRMK also. I have two of the red. One is being used for this years PL (my first). The other is my Instagram album. Just another with even more randomness but a continuation of PL with even less effort. Slip the pic in. Maybe add a quote or a date to the pic either with a phone app like Typic or other software. The albums look great and I plan on buying more of them for future scrapbook albums.
