Oh my GOSH this is the coolest tool I've run across in years. Over the time I've scrapped, I've tried every envelope maker out there. They just got donated or thrown away. This one, however, makes perfect envelopes with no effort whatsoever. I don't see it here in the store, and I won't link to another site but do a Google search for "envelope punch board". The site I purchased mine from has a video showing how it is used. It is brand new to the market, so be patient until you find one in stock or one you can pre-order. This is worth every penny. Here is a pic of it, along with some envelopes I created in no time flat:

I have been WAITING for this to be available again after it sold out so fast. I have one on the way to me now- woohoo!

I totally agree. I just bought one and it is an awesome tool. I won't be buying anymore envelopes and I will be able to use up some of this paper I have.

Definitely a well spent $20.00.

I just got mine from A's after a two month wait. I loved it when they had the demo and this will help me customize envelopes for all the odd size cards I make. Plus, I like the fact that I can use PP for them as well to help me use my stash!

They have been impossible to find around here. HSN debuted them and have never had them in stick since. Scrabook Barn in Gilbert got a small order then never got sent the rest of the order.

They are back in stock at HSN. They are a "showstopper" for today. I ordered mine last night because they have been impossible to get a hold of. Love your envelopes BTW!

Do they just make envelopes? Am I missing the reason for the hype? Do I actually need one even though I'm sure I don't?

Can the envelopes made using this be mailed in the U.S. mail?

Yes Vicki, they sure can. You just glue them together good, and they'll mail just fine. Yes, this only makes envelopes but they hype surrounding it is that someone has finally come out with a tool to do it easily. Cardmakers can really utilize this. If you aren't a cardmaker, then you probably can skip this in your scrap stash.

Yes, I do this all the time. I love my envelope punch. My DH got one for me the first day they came out at Archivers. The next day I went in for the demo on how to use it and they already had a huge waiting list. I'm so glad he signed up for emails from them so he could get coupons also, but this was a bonus.

As far as mailing home-made envelopes, just beware that some "odd" sizes of envelopes require more postage. (The grad invites I made for one of our daughters were like 6x6 inch squares, and they cost double to mail them - something we didn't expect!)

Glad to hear the great reviews of this! I saw a youtube review not long after CHA and the lady commented that some of the measurements in the chart weren't correct for a few of the less common size envelopes. Has anyone tried all the envelope sizes to see if WRMK fixed the errors in their later batches?

I'm really wanting one of these, but want to make sure the measurement errors were fixed.

Thanks for letting me know that envelopes made with this can be mailed.

I am mostly a card maker, so this would be a usefull tool.

We R Memory Keepers has a toll free number so I just called them. The lady that answered the telephone said the Envelope Punch Board is corrected and does not have any measurement errors now. If you would like to double check, this web page has the contact information: http://www.weronthenet.com/contact

I just purchased one from the place DeeDee87 who posted above mentioned. leslie_scraps, thanks for starting this post and posting your pictures.

I can't wait to find this!
I've been waiting since the first time I saw it online

BTW: envelope glue is great for the flap that you have to lick

It comes in a tube like bottle with an applicator like the ranger paint has

Then when it dries its lickable to stick. Another company makes a grape flavored envelope glue

Apparently the first ones that were sold had some wrong measurements. I just bought one at the scrapbook expo and it had an adhesive insert with the correct measurments that you can stick over the
one on the board. It also has a great corner rounder on it.

It is an awesome tool.

Hmm.. in a panic, I just took that sticker out of the trash and did a double-take. Mine does have a sticker I can affix over the measurements, but it is in centimeters and is intended for use in case someone uses metric measurements. I didn't have another one with different measurements in inches, so hopefully mine is ok. So far, all the ones I've tried have been the correct size with a 1/8 allowance on all sides like the directions indicate. It seems as if I must have gotten one of the newer ones because as soon as this website got them in, I ordered one and then they sold out in a matter of minutes. So I think it was a new shipment of them from the manufacturer.

Now THAT was fun! My first attempt at making the file folders:

File Folders

The only thing I did differently was I scored my paper at 5 5/16" so that the tabs lined up perfectly with the other side after they were both cut. Love this idea!!

Another cool trick with tabs. This configuration can be repeated over and over, the pages bound together, and it would make a cute tabbed album.

Tabbed Pages

Tabbed Pages Another View

One neat thing about this would be that you can make them any size you want to.

I don't think it can possibly come quicker or easier than Kreate-a-lope, the one where you "rip it, then flip it". I loved those demos on HSN (or was it QVC?) a few years ago, and pity that it's no longer sold. Nice to see a new envelope maker on the market.

I got mine at Portland's CKC and LOVE IT! It is better than the MS score board because your envelope is done in 30 seconds or so! Love the file folder ideas, will be going to look at the tutorial now!

I hated the Kreate-a-lope. Ripping paper wasn't easy on it, and if I ever did get it right the torn edges didn't look crisp and clean like ones cut with paper cutters. And there weren't many size options with it like this new one. It got thrown in the trash in short order.

As far as the Martha Stewart one, there are some issues with it. The scoring tool is famous for cutting through papers, even cardstock if you aren't careful, pretty easily. I had to replace mine with another plastic one. It also can get off the track lines while you are scoring. The 1/8" score lines are so close together, sometimes the scoring tool wants to jump over, especially thicker cardstock. It's much bigger than this one by WRMK, hence less portable. Very bulky. The storage compartment can be a little hard to open. I wasn't impressed with it, and I didn't even want to give it away to a friend so it was trashed as well.

Those are so cute!! I love the patterned papers you used. I have had so much fun with this new toy. I just want to make tons of envelopes and have to hold myself back from using up all my cardstock, lol. I know I need to make them as I go to match my cards, but it is just so much FUN! I hated that Kreate-a-lope - lol.

I picked mine up at A Cherry on Top. It is super cool.

I have the Martha scoring board and I think this new tool is easier to use because you don't have to take the time to fit the extra triangle piece on the score board and you don't have the option of accidentally using the wrong score line.

It's less thinking...and I happen to like that!

What is the largest size envelope this baby can make? I really would need it to do at least 5 x 7 as that's the most common size I make.

USPS.com has info on addressing letters and cards in the 'send mail' section on the home page. Square envelopes need additional 20 cents postage. If its bulky it may need more postage as well.

I don't think it's only for card makers. I don't make a lot of cards. But I ordered one so I could make mini albums with pretty envelopes. And so I could make small envelopes to add to my scrapbook pages for hidden journalling. I think if you use envelopes and little pockets on your pages, it may deserve a part of your scrappy budget.

Did you know you can use the envelope punch to make file folder shapes as well? File folders are popular for making albums at the moment.
You can see how its done on a utube video HERE

I really would like the punch but cant justify it at the moment because I can cut the shapes on my Cameo
