Month SIX-JUNE, nearly half way through 2013 already. How does time pass so fast when the minutes, hours, days...units remain the same? It is like an optical illusion yet done temporal...a "temporal illusion" to coin a new term.

June is associated with Weddings, Graduations, Father's Day, the beginning of vacation breaks, and for those who live in the Northern Hemisphere it is often a time of carnivals, festivities and art shows. June is the month with the longest daylight hours of the year in the Northern Hemisphere and the shortest daylight hours of the year in the Southern Hemisphere. And don't ignore that June 21st is GO SKATEBOARDING DAY....like that's going to happen. LOL

June's birthstones are the Alexandrite, the Moonstone, and the pearl, the focus being health and longevity. And June's birth flowers are the honeysuckle and the rose.

So let's see how you incorporate JUNE into your LOs this month.

BOOKMARKS CHALLENGE by THERESA

The object of this challenge is to use the layouts that you've been adding to your Bookmarks. You know that you liked them, but how often do you remember to use them as inspiration to make your own?

For this month's challenge, go to the 6th row of your Bookmarks and take the first layout to use as your inspiration. You don't have to totally lift the layout from your Bookmarks, let any part of it inspire you; use it as a sketch or just the colors or the theme, let the layout decide! You'll be amazed what it will do on its own.

A very important part of this challenge is that you should send a message to the Pea that inspired you. It will brighten their day! Also, add a link to their LO in the information section or the comment section. Please be very specific about identifying that you lifted that Pea, we don't want to have any hurt feelings by not giving credit where credit is due.

COLOR CHALLENGE by DIANA

June is the month of the Brides and since I Love the Hindu Bridal Gowns I decided to use at as inspiration. Hope this can inspire you.

DIGI CHALLENGE by DEBI
(just because I do digi doesn't mean you have to...paper, hybrid and digi projects all welcome)

My challenge is to JUNE-itize your LO this month...use one of the themes mentioned (weddings, graduation, vacation, festivals, carnivals, art...even skateboarding) as your starting place. Add a little flair--flowers, pearls perhaps, stamping/brushes, embossing or glitter to ramp up your page and definitely use COLOR.

Now get out there and start creating.

SKETCH CHALLENGES by TONI

The fist sketch is by Audrey Yaeger for My Scraps & More Friday 5/31/13 sketch.

The second sketch is on the Inspired Inspirations blog.

If anyone wishes to add a challenge to our list, please contact me via PeaMail and I'll add it.

Ok I'll start off the month with a page I finished yesterday

MOTHER'S DAY GARDEN

Now I'm off to have breakfast, and start painting the boys' room...really would like to finish that project today.

WHAT are you all doing on the first day of June?

I can't believe is June already.
Thanks deb for the new thread.
Great challenges love the sketches.

It's still raining here also, it's been raining for the last 7 days. Yesterday was the first day we saw the sunshine!!! and it was for a few hours. Soon we may need to buy paddle boats it's pretty bad, but not as bad as OK and those of you in the middle of the country.

Went to the Prestige Club Tea party with the girls. Nice girl time. Now we are heading to my sisters for a cookout, or maybe cookin, since it's raining and it does not look like it will stop anytime soon.

Happy Saturday Ladies!

The checkbox is up. Debi, you may want to go back and edit your layout to check the box. Thank you for the new thread and challenges. I'm going to try really hard this month to do the challenges. I love that color, Diana, and I always love the sketches, Toni. I usually just fall back on my BOS (thanks Theresa) when I scrap. Debi, I have photos of young grandsons learning to ride bikes. I ought to be able to get that to fit your challenge. I have managed to complete a couple of pages this weekend.

Theresa, glad to know that running around in the rain didn't put you on your deathbed today. I know it must feel good to have a lazy day. I'm hoping for one really soon.

Here are my pages:

Cranberries

Our Miss Kayla

I have a meeting here tomorrow so need to do some "spiffing" up, but then I hope to scrap some more.

BTW, my Chatty Scrappers calendar shows only one June birthday and that is Mary Jo near the end of the month. If anyone else has a June b-day or if you didn't get your b-day on the calendar this year, please peamail the date to me. Thank you. We can't announce your b-day if we don't know when it is.

Well it's been a typical Saturday here. 3 of the kids slept out last night so it was nice and quiet this morning. I did the dishes and 3 loads of laundry. Then all heck broke loose when the kids and their friends came back over here! I was able to scrap a page in between all the kids running in and out though......here's what I've been working on lately:

road runner

summer

fall

number 1 fan

Thanks NYLENE for posting the CS link file.

TOSSA I don't know how you manage to do any scrapping with 6 kids (and their friends) under foot. I bow down to you. You must be one organized lady.

THERESA sometimes doing nothing just wears you out.

NYLENE I like your CAN-DO attitude about scrapping this month. Looking forward to seeing all your pages.

I painted...I'm not finished...almost, but not quite. I'm done for today. Stopped in time to play along with a speedscrap on another site. Here's my LO from that effort.

Good Sunday morning, girls...

Debi - June is looking good, girl

Diana - Love that photo and those colors.

It's raining and yucky here, don't know if, or what, I'll get done today.

Sending some hugs, thoughts and prayers for Oklahoma.

Well, I'm going to get praised up on here and the few that I didn't get done in May. I've got to make and send a sympathy card, so hopefully I can at least get that done today.

All my best, girls.

I am heading back into the boys' room armed with a can of paint and a paint brush. If you don't hear from me by the end of the day, send in a rescue team. I may be stuck behind a too-heavy bookcase or something.

Hope I can take a break from indoors and mow part of my lawn today as it's gorgeous outside.

Catch you all later. Hope it's a happy scrappy day.

Debi- I am the furthest thing from organized! I just sit amoungest the chaos and scrap. lol

Well today has been even more hectic then usual. I had 10 kids here for a good part of the day.....that's right 10! The older kids each had a friend over. Phew I've been trying to clean up but it is a lossing battle so I think I"ll sit here for few minutes and get caught up! I was able to get some dishes and some laundry done AND have a shower so I guess all hecticness aside today was a success. I'm having a friend and her kids over for supper (just ordering pizza) as a thank you for her having my kids sleepover every other weekend.

Tossa I would think it would make life a little easier (albeit noisier) to let the kids have friends over if you wanted to get something done yourself. They entertain each other that way instead of fighting with siblings or expecting Mom to entertain. Still can't imagine having 10 kids under one roof, LOL. Of course, I only had the one child (unless you ask my mailman, he thought I had 5 because that's about the amount of kids I had here every day.)

Debi, hope you're getting a lot done and it's not doing you in.

Hi ladies!!!

The new thread looks awesome. I love the hindu bride photo & colors, it's beautiful! I'm also a big fan of the sketch that Toni posted with the funky design, I'm going to have to try that one.

I've had a pretty nice weekend. The girls & I did some shopping for decorations for my office yesterday. The people at work make fun of me all of the time because I have a really nice office with next to nothing in it. I got new furniture a couple of months ago and just never got around to decorating, I actually don't like to do it, so I like to call my decorating style "clean", but it's really more like sparse.

We had youth group at church tonight and had 30ish kids show up to have a huge nerf gun war. We always have so many who show up for that, they love to run around shooting each other.

I posted one LO in the gallery today and have a couple of others to post, but the gallery appears to be broken again...which is a bummer since I was trying to do a little gallery surfing/praising.

Tossa - We always have a few extra teenagers around here, I've always thought that once you exceed three kids, you don't much notice the rest anyway, so what's a few more...

Theresa - I'll be sending you a fun prize for winning at completing challenges last month...yay!

I hope you all had a really nice weekend!

Fondly,

Tina

Well TOSSA I'm kind of with you...more kids doesn't mean harder. I've always found that more kids (other thean the need for more food) means they entertain each other. Even when my boys were small I babysat another set of twins 7 mos younger than my boys...and having 4 was easier than having just my 2. Then again I spent 20+ years working in childcare so I'm accustomed to large groups of kids.

I do have to admit birthday parties (themed) with 2 different groups of kids adding up to more than 30 at our house (my twins weren't ever in the same classroom thus had different friends) run simultaneously but in alternate order was a bit of a challenge, but we've become known as the "best party throwers" in the school. Kids ask to be invited to the next one as they leave...LOL

Ok I'm out of the bedroom. THe painting is done--well I could and I might at some point, paint the ceiling, but not now. I haven't taken photos yet of the completed room as I need to get the 2 desktop computers set up, but I think it looks much better. The boys definitely agree.

I've sorted through and cleaned a great deal of stuff in their room as I moved things to paint, but there are still toys and clothes that they've outgrown that I need to remove. I decided not to tackle their closet which houses some of both, until another day.

For some reason I'm coughing a lot tonight...I suspect all the dust I cleaned up has something to do with that.

Both boys are working feverish on stories for LA which I believe may be due tomorrow. Of course, they couldn't work on them at their dad's so now they are in crunch time. I told Noah I'd type his if he'd finish writing it, but he's like me...he wants to write a novel. I used to do that when I was his age too...my stories were always so long...as is my message thread. LOL

So with that realization, I'm out of here.

Good morning Peas,

Happy Monday! It's beautiful and sunny here today, so I'm hoping for a really nice start to my week. I just have a few meetings with the people at the state today and then am doing some interviews, so it should be a fairly easy day.

I thought I'd run by and post a couple of LO's before I head off to work. I've been kind of a slacker about posting lately, so I wanted to do it before I forget.

Here are a few that I got done:

Something like tradition

Cuddle time - my lift for the Bookmarks challenge.

Hope you all have a great day!

Happy Monday to all. I'm finally sleeping again, hurray! Crazy weird dreams but I think that is because Randy has been doing a Psych then The Good Wife marathon trying to catch up on old episodes, LOL.

Tina, whoo hoo, thanks for drawing out my name for a prize.

Debi, hurray for getting the painting done. Glad the boys like it too.

Was lazy all weekend so need to get stuff done today. Going back to praise the last few layouts so I can stay praised up, then getting busy.

morning girls -

Theresa - congrats on the win!

Tammy - Happy Anniversary to your and Gary! Miss you.

Debi - for getting the painting done! Glad the boys like it too.

Tossa - We always had a handful of kids around too...it always made life
a little more interesting. Now the house is really, really quiet, LOL.

Tina - Glad you were able to get some "me" time in and scrap a little; love looking at your work.

Diana - Enjoy your not so busy moments

Well, like Theresa, I didn't get much done yesterday; very, very lazy day so I'll have to try to get some stuff done today. Didn't walk this morning either so I'll have to make that up the rest of the week, LOL. At least it won't be as hot this week as last week.

So sorry to hear about those three storm chasers. That's so sad. My heart goes out to their families.

Anyway, I'm off.
Have a great Monday all.

stayed up way too late typing my son's paper for him...oh well at least it's done. And this was a sneaky way to be able to read one of his stories. He never shares his work. it was pretty good if you like world ending zombie catastrophe stories...lots of action and dialogue.

Well I'm a bit sleep deprived today, so may be lagging a bit. Need to take a shower--to wake up, run to meeting and run a couple errands, including grocery shopping (not my favorite) but we're out of food.

We'll see if I'm up to anything more after that.

Happy Monday, I have 2 hours of sleep, and doing bookkeeping that I really don't know how to do well, I'm about to fall on my face. I can't wait until 5.

Tossa I always have a house full, more so when the boys where home. I think 1 child is a lot more work than 5. They entertain each other.

Tina..Glad you are making your office your. I get mine at the end of the month, right now I'm in my bosses home in the family room a bit uncomfortable, but her just converted the garage into an office and it's going to look great, I can't wait.

Debi..LOL!!! I have done that many a night my friend. I also enjoyed typing their work, you learn a lot from it.

Waiving hello to everyone else, I think I'm going to close my eyes a bit and take a 15 minute break. Have a great day.

Morning all. Woke up with low blood pressure this morning, hoping to stop the light headed feeling soon because I am headed to Holiday World with my sister and nephew at 8. Randy got two free adult tickets from work and he doesn't want to go. Austin has the whole day planned already, which rides to get on when we first get there, when the water park section opens and what rides to get on after the water park closes. Last time I went I ended up with a broken tailbone after going down a water park slide in the kiddy section. I already told him that would be one ride I wouldn't be getting on!

THERESA sounds like you have a fun day planned. Wish I were going along.

I'm tired, another late night, but both boys managed to finish their papers (Owen crawled into bed at midnight).

Not sure what I will do today...my energy is at a low at the moment, despite the fact the sun is shining.

High School Orientation tonight. Not sure I'm ready for this. ANd I do need to press the boys' concert attire as they have their last concert on Thursday.

School is almost finished. Feels chaotic and frantic at the moment.

Just a quick note. Theresa, be careful. We don't want any injuries. Are you feeling less light-headed now?

Debi, it doesn't seem possible that your boys are starting High School. Wow!

Gotta run. I have Cubs coming soon. Tuesday is always a hectic day around here.

Hugs to everyone.

Home, injury free but worn out! Had a great time although we liked to froze in the water park because the water was so cold! Not sure the actual temp got above 72 today. Austin rode the big roller coaster this year (The Voyage for anyone that has ever seen an ad for Holiday World). It's the first year he wasn't afraid of it (well until last year he was too small anyway). He loved it. I think if we had ridden it earlier in the day we would have had to go on it again. As it was it was close to closing time so we couldn't. It's a really long wooden roller coaster with lots of high drops and twist/turns. I'll be sore tomorrow from the jerking I'm sure. The lines weren't too long so that made the day better too, nothing worse than standing in a long line. Headed to bed but figured I'd better check in first.

Hey girls -

Theresa - yeah for no injuries, and yeah for Austin! I can still remember Kevin's first time riding one, LOL...now, Meagan, she's a daredevil and started riding them very young, and often.

I got a lot done today...I even walked. Shampooed the rug, but mostly in the living room, and a little towards the dining room. I'll have to venture the rest another day as that took most of the day. I also brushed our sweet dog afterwards to try to avoid so much dog hair...ugh...a whole bag full! I've never seen anything like her hair!

I also got a page done...I did it for a SL challenge...finally felt the inspiration hit. I'm hoping I can continue this throughout the month. I would hate to have a summer off and not scrapbook. As long as I can get a lot of other stuff done though, it will be good.

Here's the page:

Remember

See ya tomorrow

Hiddy ho imaginary friends!

Not sore today after all, that's a good thing! Of course I just came in from mowing the lawn and using the hedge clippers on a monster overgrown hedge so I might be later, LOL.

Had to go to "orientation" today for unemployment which I may or may not get. Had to interrupt the speaker when she made the comment that the people there could go back to school and become a nurse because there is always a job available for that. I was polite about it but, geesh, did she not look to see who was in the audience. Had a person from Murray University take down my info, she thinks I need to go back and get a bachelor's degree in Health Care Administration. That would keep me out of floor nursing and get me into case management. She's going to check how many classes I'd need to take and get back with me. Not sure about that but I'll look into it.

Going with my sister tonight to Ohio County (about 30 minutes away) to catch some Koi for the ponds. She found someone in Beaver Dam that has them for sale for $3 if we can catch them. I'm not going to invest in another pump for mine but if I put some new bigger fish in there, might keep the mosquitoes down.

Best get some lunch. Going to catch up on praise while I eat.

THERESA don't you just love UNEMPLOYMENT talks when they tell you how easy it is to get re-employed, or re-trained for a new job...even offering free tuition to re-train (which BTW only ended up being available to folks without a degree...the fact I have 3 degrees and no job doesn't allow me to get help to foot the bill to re-train into something else). I'm plenty skilled but getting a job has totally eluded me. Hope you do better.

I've been in a bit of a sludge this week...no energy, no motivation, and battling what I think might be allergies, but my allergy meds don't seem to be helping. ALl i want to do is sleep...that's not very good, especially when the weather is beautiful.

Son misplaced his headgear (for braces) and I can't find it anywhere. Any suggestions on where I might look. He's bad about leaving it on his desk or table, but it's not showing up in any of the usual spots and I cleaned the room pretty thoroughly when I painted so it's not showing up there either...grrr! He has a designated place he's supposed to put it and his glasses (neither which seem to happen)---too lazy to walk the extra steps I guess.

Here's a lo I did for a challenge using sunburst paper (not my favorite) but what the hey, tried it anyway. Not every page has to be a masterpiece, right?

countdown to graduation

Have a good day.

Made another order at 2 peas yesterday and now they have all the PL stuff so what's a girl to do? I want to start PL but all I've been doing so far is buying stuff and more stuff not really sure where to start. Haven't created in a few days was feeling blah.......I think the hecticness of the weekend wore me out! The June page maps are up and are very inspiring so maybe I'll scrap tomorrow.

Morning all. Pouring rain all night, flooding lots of the county (not my place) so it looks like a day inside for me. Randy's off today, he wanted to play golf this morning but that's not option. Will probably mean he convinces me to sit and watch DVD's all day.

Went with my sister to get her some Koi for her new pond. I decided to go ahead and get a couple too just to keep the mosquitoes at bay. When I got there they were so gorgeous that we ended up with way too many. Called my brother and he said he'd buy a few from me. Came home, had Randy help me carry the tub with fish to the backyard. Picked up one of the bigger ones (yes, by hand) and placed it in the pond. It literally stuck out of the muck!!!! Grabbed it quickly and put it back in the tub. My pond, hasn't been cleaned in two summers is totally a mess and there is no way I can get fish in it without cleaning it out. Took the fish (14 or so with the smallest one being at least 6 inches) to my brother's pond to "foster" mine with his.

Looks like a massive redo on the pond is in the works and it's going to be a ton of work. My sister is going to help after church on Sunday. Randy's not happy at all. Not that he'll do a bit of the work or even that I will end up spending money, he says it's just asking for more problems for me. We have had problems with the neighbors over it in the past that's for sure. But I have to say that I've always wanted a bigger pond. I get a ton of pleasure from it and those fish I bought are gorgeous so I'd like to keep them. (My SIL isn't going to complain if I leave them at her house and it sure would be cheaper for me to just have bought the fish for them, LOL.) I am going to spend the money and put a small fence around it to keep the neighbors and other neighbor's dogs out of it and enjoy my yard.

Since the one I have is such a mess we're thinking of just putting in a new one with a heavy duty liner and pulling some of the plants out of the old one then filling in rather than reusing the prefab form that is already out there. We also now have the option of moving it somewhere else in the yard. Oh decisions, decisions!

Debi- Hope the headgear turns up soon!

Theresa- I bet the Koi are lovely. I'm sure the pond will be well worth the work in the end!

UGH got off to a late start today....the kids were 20 minutes late for school. Not much going on here today just mostly cleaning.

We are booking a jaccuzzi room for this weekend with SIL and her 5 kids as well (in their own room of coarse!) We had birthdays at the end of May where our kids turned 3,4 and 5 (two of my girls and our nephew) so we are going to celebrate with swimming, pizza and cake. My 5 year old is obsessed with cheetah print clothes and wears them everyday so she is just going to die when she finds out that I got her a cheetah print bathingsuit, flip flops, hat and beach bag! Can't wait to see her reaction!

Hope to get some scrapping done today, those June page maps are great! It really depends on if DH find somewhere to go today or if he is here bugging me!

morning girls -

today may be one of those days where I just tackle something easy, and maybe scrap something. Didn't walk either. Head and body aching; probably from the rain, which it's supposed to rain again today and tomorrow. We sure have had a lot of it this year.

Theresa - good luck with the unemployment. A friend of mine who was a nurse got into the training-administration end of nursing and has been doing it for quite a while now. It may not be too bad for you; you have a lot of patience. You might want to look into it. Although Eileen does work at a hospital though, but she's not on the floor, etc. she does classroom type stuff. Good luck though.

Well, hope you all have a better day today

Tossa - just read your post (we must have been posting about the same time). Your weekend sounds so fun...and the birthday present for your DD sounds so incredibly cute...you're going to have to post some pics of it.

TONI I scrapped today too despite the long list of things on my TO DO list. They are still on it.

TOSSA that birthday present sounds perfect. I'm sure she will be thrilled.

THERESA I have no idea what it takes to make and maintain a pond...sounds like a lot of work, and since I managed to have both our gold fish die recently (not sure why, but guessing the water wasn't treated well enough) I'm not sure I could be trusted with Koi.

Ok, the sun is out. I think since I'm not going to do anything work-oriented, I might as well go outside and soak a little Vitamin D in...and read a couple chapters. SOunds good to me.

here's a Lo I made of my first husband (yes I've been married before). Not sure why I decided to scrap this but it was calling out to me today when I went looking for a photo to scrap...so there it is.

Planned on going to bed an hour ago but I'm still on the computer!

Praised to here.

Did nothing all day. Thought about going to buy stuff for the pond then felt guilty about spending the money so just stayed home. Searched online for a job. Realized that I have probably lost most of my nursing skills, well at least the ones I'd need in a hospital environment. My CPR has also expired (was supposed to go the week after I lost my job to renew my card). Working on the Joint Replacement Center for so long I really only had to use a few skills, an occasional Foley Cather and IV placement every now and then. Never had anyone with a tracheotomy and only remember one feeding tube. Most of the patients were healthy, just there for a joint replacement. Then after I went to the doctor's office I never had to do IV's or anything like that, did keep my wound care skills up but pretty much have lost everything else.

The gal from the college called yesterday. I'd need two more years of college to do the degree she recommended. No way I can stay off work for two years and way too old (lost brain cells) to go to college full time and work. Guess I'm starting to stress. Randy keeps telling me not to worry about it but who knows if I'm going to get unemployment. Anyway, that's why I'm still awake.

Okay, whined enough, going to try to go to sleep.

THERESA I can understand why you feel stressed. Money concerns always freak me out. But what I can tell you, worrying about them doesn't change anything except your ability to sleep and stay healthy. Write down what you are concerned about on paper, then put it aside so you can rest. Take each day as it comes. It will be ok. It may not look like you think it should, but it will be ok.

And whether you've used some skills or not, they are not lost, only a little rusty. it will come back to you if you need it. Now go renew your CPR

Boys' concert was awesome...all 4 bands (beginning, cadet, concert and symphonic) played 4 songs each. The place was hot though. I was comfortable but everyone around me was whining about how hot it was. The boys complained they were dying of heat on stage...and I bet with the lack of any airflow, no air conditioning and all the stage lights, it was probably pretty toasty up there especially dressed in concert attire (tux shirts, bowties and cumberbunds). Now we're home and they are frantically studying for a japanese kanji test tomorrow. I see they have a chapter test in japanese on the last day of school too...nothing like working to the very end.

I'm still coughing...wish it would go away. NYLENE I know you can relate.

Theresa- I totally agree with Debi's advice about your skills just being rusty, worrying and getting your CPR. I know it's easier said then done with regards to stoping worring but you don't want to make yourself sick.

Debi- Glad to hear the concert went well. Did the headgear materialize yet?

I"m supposed to be getting ready to go to the hotel but I can't for the life of me get my butt in gear! UGH I swear I just shut down when there is a million things to do. I really should just get-er-done and take the kids out of school early to avoid trafic but probably won't lol

Morning all.

Debi and Tossa thanks for the support. I agree about writing things down to sound off, that's what I did last night--on here, LOL. Keyed in all my resume to a website for a hospital in Madisonville so that if they post a position I might be interested in I can send it off immediately. I found a part time position on it late last night but was too tired to key all the stuff in. This morning, the position is gone so it must have been filled yesterday. Really glad I didn't stay up past midnight to key in info for that let me tell ya! They have several night shift jobs open now but I'm not taking a night shift unless it's the last option.

Tossa, totally understand not getting with it. I'm still in my pajamas on the couch. I need to be gathering stuff for my scrapbook crop tonight and yet here I still sit.

My sister sent me a note this morning, her newly installed pond sunk last night (remember lots of rain) and she's going to have to redo it. Made me remember just how much work the pond is so I'm going to say I bought fish for my brother and be done with it. Not putting in a new one. I am going to work on cleaning out the one in the back yard and just fill it in. When we win the lottery and build my dream house, I'll install a huge pond then.

Okay procrastinating enough. Have a great day all.

Well I finally got my butt in gear around 1:30 I was able to shower and get all our stuff packed (you wouldn't believe how much stuff 8 people need for just 1 night!) I'm just waiting for the kids to get off school so we can head across the river now. I have another parcel in from 2 peas that I need to pick up too!

Tossa, I can not imagine packing for 8. It takes me forever just to pack for me and Randy. I'd need a van just for luggage if I had 8!

Heck I need our van just to pack for 3--and don't get me started on when they were babies and trying to travel...geesh.

Glad you got it done though TOSSA. As for headgear, it's still elusive. dreading the "I need to clean and organize the house to find it" but I think that's what I will need to do. And like, THERESA, here I sit not wanting to do anything.

My get up and go got up and went.

I hate keying in my resume to online sights. It helps to have everything already in a document so you can cut and paste but sometimes that isn't possible given the questions they ask. I hear you on not wanting to take a night shift job any more. Hang in there, something will open.

Sorry about the fish..did your sister have fish in her pond when it sunk? Sounds like a lot of work. As I said earlier, I had enough trouble with an indoor aquarium let alone an outdoor pond.

The concert went well...long though...4 bands, 3 hours. 3 more official days of school with tests right up to the end. You'd think the teachers would let off a bit, but no...

Last 2 days the 8th graders have their graduation promotion and their day cruise...hoping for nice weather now that our weather seems to be turning for the worse.

Might have my cousin spending the weekend here...been waiting to hear from her as her dh is in the hospital near my house. She lives and works 1 1/2hr away, but I think she is off this weekend. Told her she could stay with me anytime. May need to call her soon to see what she has planned, and if she does want to come down, FLYLADY be with me as I need to clean out the guest room and straighten up the house as well as we still need groceries.

SO here's a LO from me and now I need to get busy around here.

Now and Forever

Debi

Oh oh...I'm the only one chatting...is that a sign of insanity?

Anyone go out for a free donut today (National Donut Day)...I tried, but the boys didn't want to go. Can't believe they turned down a free Krispy Kreme donut...

Here's a LO I did of the boys dressed in their concert attire...I'm a sucker for fancy clothes.

Good Morning ladies!

I hope you all have a fun Saturday planned. I need to work on the house a little, then we are going to an open house. One of Olivia's best friends graduated this year, so we'll be headed to her party.

I had a busy week, but a good one. My sister is back in town again from Seattle. She brought her son, Stephen, with her this time. He has been here in several years, he went off on the flight home the last time that he was here and was banned from flying for several years...long story. He is a special needs kiddo, so he does that kind of stuff. We had dinner with them on Thursday, which went well, so that was good. They are staying with my parents, so I don't think we will see them again until maybe next weekend. I think they are visiting for 3 weeks this time.

I'm hoping to have a little time to scrap today, I have a half-finished LO that I need to take care of finishing up, then I want to do a couple of the challenges. We got our vacation booked this week. I got us scheduled to go to Orange Beach, we've never been there before, so I'm hoping it will be fun. Honestly, there's an ocean and I'm bringing books, so I know that I'll enjoy it.

I posted a LO earlier this week, but couldn't link it up then, so here that one is:

Beautiful Day

I need to get moving, dh and I have a date at Panera every Saturday morning. Take care all!

morning girls -

just running by to say hi before I get ready for J's....it's pretty cloudy out, so it will probably be busy because no one will be out puttering in their yards today, LOL.

Have a super-de-duper day.
