Thanks for the link, Asa. I don't think I can stop shopping long term, but if I'm creating more, I can feel better about buying a few things. Moderation is my goal.

just joined the fb group. we just moved and had a shared space with my mom. after moving all my stuff and spliting things up. I realized I have alot of supplies and don't really need anything else. The only thing I recently bought was some storage cubes, most of the scrappy furniture my mom kept and some basic things like ink pads, my mom is more of a stampers so she kept all the inks.

but im all up for the challenge to not spend anything on new supplies and making projects with what I have!

I just sent a request to join the group. I will only buy adhesive and photos during this time. Now, I better get to work on those LOs!

I have my cart full and I *WANT* to hit checkout but I'm really trying to be good. I went to my LSS and got what pieces I could of the Best of Both Worlds kit, My June kits and extras came from SC yesterday and I still have some pattern paper left over from my May pea purchased. I REALLY need to get using my stash!

On a positive note, I did do a lot of scrapbooking in May and I really want to keep this groove going. I have no intention of cancelling my SC sub, but I do need to work on making a dent. I am trying to keep my spending this summer down to kits and basics.

Yes, I need to do this. I went to CKC and bought a good $400 worth of supplies so I SERIOUSLY need to start using that stuff and not buy any more. So I'm putting myself on a several month no-scrap-stuff mission so I can use my stash. (Beyond refilling adhesives).

Must do this! Must!

I am the creator/admin of 50 Projects and I just wanted to also say that every one is welcome to join! It is only "closed" to keep spam down and I usually accept new members a few times a day.

It is more about actually creating than just not spending and I don't mind if you have a kit club you don't want to cancel, or if you need adhesive or whatever. It is just a fun group of ladies!

And I count cards and PL for myself as well.

I am ready to join you. The only thing I might have to buy is adhesive.

I've been on a small spending spree lately, and have 2 more packages due to arrive with a few things. I also have a small wish list in my phone, and I'm going to make those purchases hopefully this week. After that, I'm going on a self-imposed stoppage for the summer at least and am going to try and make a dent in my stash because I'm running out of room! I've gotten organized recently so it should be easier to find what I need, when I need it. The issue is finding the time - I work FT and have a 2 1/2 year old and a 4 month old, so time to scrap is few and far between! It's much easier to shop than to actually scrap lol.

I've spent quite a bit in the last 2 months, and now I really need to buckle down and USE it! And try not to buy more...

Thank you Asa for the FB link, I sent in my request. Other than adhesive I definitely do not need to buy anything else so I am very excited for this. I think of the last 10 LOs I've made, probably 7 were from stash (the other 3 from my kit club that I did not renew this month). It's been fun shopping my stash!

I've been no-buy for ages - I don't have a huge stash but it's more than I need and I actually do better with less stuff than more. I think all I've bought this year were a few sheets of cardstock and an album (which I've already used).

We're getting a Michaels here soon and a Hobby Lobby next year only about 45 minutes away (currently Michaels is 45min and HL is 90+) so I want to scrap, scrap, scrap before all that temptation opens up

I just went to the facebook page and put in a request to join.

I gave away 11 inches of paper and embellishments yesterday, a 3 inch box of kits, and I cancelled my kit club subscription last week. I have bought the same piece of paper three times over because I forgot I had was actually fun to go through paper and see things I had forgotten about. I need adhesive, but nothing else.

I can't do the 50 challenge because I do PL on a weekly basis... and that would be almost a WHOLE YEAR!!

I do like using what I have, though... and I feel that I tend to be more creative when I have less to choose from... so I encourage others to do more with their stash!! You go, girls!!
