Do you find that the photos in the top pockets slide out too easily? How have you remedied this problem?

Are they Becky Higgins??? I have the same problem. So I contacted customer service and they sent me a new pack but still same problem. They did suggest taping it. But can't imagine that would look very good

This is my fourth year of PL and I have never had this problem. I use the BH page protectors too.

I try to creatively add some washi tape to close the top pockets...works like a charm!

No problems here either. Are your photos a true 4x6? I think I've heard that some developers do them a slightly smaller size (??).

Instead of taping, you could mount them on 4x6 cardstock for a more snug fit.

I notice the problem a lot with the right page in the top right corner and some of the other slots too. I have been using my tiny attacher a lot more often. Having washi hold them in looks really messy to me, or at least I haven't found an artistic way for it to look.

This happens to me and I use the becky higgins but it doesn't really bother me all that much. To fix the problem though you could easily add stitching at the top to keep them in. You don't have to stitch all the way across the top either you could do a half inch even on each side and that would keep it in. True to that you could make sure you cut your piece of background paper to mount a photo or journaling card on a piece that is perfectly snug in the pocket. Good luck!

Staple it shut. I color my staples with a sharpie before I load them into the stapler so they look prettier

I found a solution that works for me. I use my "extra" pictures (that were same theme as I was scrapping) and placed them behind the scrapped picture. The "thickness" of the pictures caused no more sliding.

This happens to me ALL the time!! So what I do is use a tiny glue dot and adhere it to the plastic.. Honestly you can't really see it but if your that OCD about it then you could always use washi, staple it, clip it or sew it! I sometimes use my tape runner and same thing I can't even tell.. You could put the tape on the border part of the photo (if there is one) ! They are all like this (becky Higgins) so no matter what batch you buy they will still slip out , i have noticed the heavier the photos/ cards the easier it is to slip out.. So if you just use a BH filler card mostly likely it won't slip out!

I also feel like if all these manufactures ESPECIALLY becky Higgins would just make the pockets true to size 4x6 & 3x4 then half of these problems wouldn't happen!! It drives me NUTS when I have to constantly trim down my photos or cards just so they will fit!! Dumbest thing they could have done & it makes no sense!!!

There are certain pocket designs where the contents always fall out - the huge WRMK pockets (like 3x12, 8x6 etc) or the BH ones that load on the side instead of the top.

For these I use some clear tape I got in a Studio Calico kit last summer - it's got the days of the week printed in white, but is otherwise clear. It looks good and doesn't cover up the designs. Works like a charm.

I love the idea of using the Tiny Attacher as well, though I suppose there are some places on the page protector where it wouldn't reach?

Did you know the tiny attacher can staple even in the middle of a 12x12 sheet of paper?
You can use it anywhere on your page protector

I use the WRMK page protectors and don't have the problem as my cards that I create are true 3x4 or 4x6. I only run into problems when using the BH cards, they are sized down slightly.

I have used washi tape to secure some things in my PL book, but I wonder how it will hold up over time. Seems like it would breakdown pretty quickly. Any thoughts on that?

I've used glue dots or a small TH paperclip.

I have used BH, WRMK, and other brands. Every so often a picture will start creeping out of the pocket. I just push it back in. The WRMK brand that has 2 vertical, 2 horizontal and a 2x12 pocket are the biggest pain for me-- I find the 2x12 NEVER stays put-- so for that I add a glue dot and move on.

I thought this for the past couple of years. Then I bought Snap page protectors and realized how large the 4x6 pockets were. Then it dawned on me. You can't have true 3x4 in the same column as a true 4x6. The 4x6 pocket would HAVE to be larger than 6 inches across because with the 3x4 pockets you need about 1/8 for the seam. I think BH chose to size down the 3x4 pockets slightly so the 4x6 pockets were true.

I've had this problem, too, but figured I was the only one. I use dimensional embellies, even in my PL album, so thought that's what the problem was. My solution is to use a small bit of ATG adhesive somewhere on the card - usually on whatever sticks up because its closer to the page protector. It's mostly clear, so you can hardly see it, and it keeps everything in place. I hope all of that made sense. Lol

I have the same problem and it really bugs me! Especially when I'm doing work for clients! I do the cardstock mat just like journey fan suggested and it workd great but the extra step is annoying because the slots aren't true to size so i end up doing tiny trims. I don't do project life but I hybrid with extra photos that I don't scrapbook and put mini 4 x 6 scrapbook pages sprinkled in. It looks so unprofessional to have the pics slide out when you've got such detailed work. what can you do...the products come from China so there is bound to be flaws, there are so many different products that there is bound to be variants in the actual sizes, and then the photo developers tweak the sizes too.

I definitely want to know how a Tiny Attacher can staple in the middle of the page! I had trouble getting to the middle of a 4x6 card, so inquiring minds want to know

I know! It drives me nuts when people complain about this! It's not possible to get the pockets the right size when you have both 3x4 and 4x6 pockets
