The winner for this go round was:

JUDITH MARA!!!!!

Everyone is welcome to play! Pick a prompt and jump right in!

Prompts will now be open for two weeks!

I've decided to host a bi-weekly (twice a month) challenge thread here at Two Peas. The more you play, the more chances you have to win a small scrapping goody from me (and some others who are donating prizes!!) and the more pages you will get done!

Please link up your creation in this thread for a chance to win and I will also have a challenge box you can check during the upload process.
Look for **Stash Busters Challenge**

**You can combine all these prompts. Each prompt you use is good for one chance to win...so use 3 prompts on one layout = 3 chances to win!***

We all like to get comments on our pages so if you are playing along please try to find the time to return the favor!

**********************************************************************
Deadline for these challenges are MONDAY JULY 1st by 11:59 pm PST

*********************************************************************

Prompt #1

Use something glittery or shiny on your page. Anything gold is hot right now. I also have a bunch of Stickles I haven't used in a long time!

Some inspiration:
I love this one by stephanie bryan

Love all the gold on this one by robkaynel

or this pretty card by paper pursuits

Prompt #2

Use something "natural" on your layout. What does that mean? Green and brown are nature colors and then there are wood veneers, and wood frames and jute and twine and whatever else you think fits this category....even beach and camping pages. Oh and of course anything wood grain....washi and patterned paper too. Anything outdoorsy fits for this one!

Now at first glance this one doesn't look "from nature" but there are wood veneer butterflies and she used kraft pp so that counts! Page by

ashley horton

Love this page by

ana castro

and this cool page by sue two.

Prompt #3

Use this sketch to make a page. From June pagemaps

sample page by Heather Leopard

Prompt #4

We haven't done a color combo in a long time!

Use at least 3 of these colors on a page. (from pinterest)

I found this page by Jennifer L

Love this one too by teapot2angel

Prompt #5

Complete any Two Peas challenge. If the challenge is still open, it's valid.

Monday:

213 in 2013

Tuesday:

In the mood to scrap

Wednesday:
Glitter Girl

Thursday:
scrap your stash

Friday:
seeing double

Saturday:
Project Life

Yes please to the challenges, I love looking at others, the chat and even entering a LO or two. Things are getting busy here too even though we're in deep dark winter in NZ. I haven't seen the sun today, however I guess I should be thankful that it doesn't ever snow where I live, unlike the South Island which is about to get dumped on! Yesterday my (normally sweet but quickly turning into a terrorising toddler) little girl, 2.5 climbed out of her crib. Luckily she was unhurt, but now she's in her big bed and today it took two hours for her to go down for a nap, which cuts into my scrappy time. However as soon as I finish this coffee I'm going to get scrapping with the 2peas order that came today!

Next week my schedule opens up, so no more excuses. I can't wait to join in again.

Hi, everyone!

I'm a bit late on the draw for this Father's Day card - it sort of sneaked up on me with all the madness of end of school stuff going on but at least I rang my step-dad to wish him a happy day, if even the card will be late.

I think I've managed to combine the most prompts ever (for me) into this one little project! Covering #1 (gold glitter Thickers & gold sequins), #2 (kraft cardstock, kraft corrugated star die-cut & coconut wood button) and #3 blue/green/yellow colour palette - wow!

#1 Dad

Marianne, do you need help with the challenges? I know many of us have offered to help provide prizes and challenge ideas, etc. Please just ask if you need a hand - I'm sure many of us would be happy to help out but don't burn yourself out trying to do it all.

I truly appreciate these challenges even though I am not always able to participate!

Here is a layout for prompt #2 - use something natural.
I used wood veneer.

breakfast together

Personally, for me the simpler the challenges, the better.
So any manufacturer, specific product (rub ons, letter stickers, or other items that are in our stashes) are good!
Also maybe a photography challenge - use a photo(s) from a summer activity. Use holiday photos, etc...

congratulations to your daughter!

Happy Midsummer, everyone!

I started scrapping my Barcelona trip today - only have the one photo so far but decided to break into my new Fancy Pants.

I finally got some scrapping done. I got around to making a couple of cards. One is for Father's Day. (Yes, I am certainly running late this year.) The other is a card for a co-worker who is retiring.

The retirement card uses the Simple Stories Summer Fresh line that I love so much. I'm submitting this for prompt 2. It has the adorable wood veneer stars that ScrapNatya sent as my prize as well as florals that I don't often use.

My Father's Day card uses the same design. This time I used For the Record 2 by Echo Park. This is for prompt 4.

Hi Marianne - sorry, I've been MIA. Haven't had much time to scrapbook but I still love coming onto the thread to see the challenges and everyone's submissions. Please continue the challenges. Whenever I have time, I love to check them out and submit a layout or two.

I soooooo appreciate your hard work in keeping this challenge thread going. I'll try to see if I can think of some prompts but you do such a great job. Not sure I'll be able to help. I'll PM you when I have some ideas.

Thanks for all your hard work! You do a FANTASTICAL (yes, I know that's not a real word but I still love it!) job!

Ok, I'm back with a page I made using prompts #1 & #5:

hello, my name is...

I think y'all should check it out because I think it will put a smile on your face.

Used a bunch of metallics and was inspired by some GG challenges too. Thanks so much for letting me share!

I have a Father's Day card I need to upload as well. Have a great weekend!

Finished one for your challenge. Have been wanting to do one for weeks and finally got there!!!
Used stickles on the stars I either misted or inked up.
Also fits the color challenge pretty well, too. And I really didn't have a clue what the colors were.

Darkchami,

Yes, textured cardstock. I actually heat emboss the stamping, since I don't find my white stamp pad to be very dark/clear. The embossing powders give a much sharper impression.
