I am purging the office today of older idea books/magazines and came across these today. It's funny how the styles have changed drastically since the beginning, but really not so much in the past 5 years.

Yes, I loved PaperKuts magazine. It was always full of things that I wanted to try. They quit publishing suddenly, with no warning. I always wondered what happened to them. Maria

I loved that magazine and probably have some old ones in my craft room also. Hmm...I think I need to go through all my old magazines again.

I certainly remember PK; they gave me my first pub way back when. I will also say, however, they never paid me (nor anyone else in that issue, I believe) and they messed my page up! When I got my copy of the mag and rushed excitedly through it looking for my page, imagine my surprise when my two photo layout showed up as a 1 photo layout with a huge blank space where the second photo should have been!

Yes! I worked for them for a few years and was sad to see them stop publishing. Such a fun group to work with and so many ideas.

Paper Kuts was my favorite magazine . I loved all the paper doll ideas. I gave mine away years ago. Wished I had saved a few just so I could compare styles with today.

I remember Paperkuts. The year I finally summoned up the courage to try out for the PK Power team was the year they folded. I miss that magazine.

I miss PK. I owned a store when they were around and they were more reasonable to advertise in the CK, which was great.

I've also been purging as I move into a newly painted scrapbook room, and I've been going through my decade+ of magazines and taking out the ideas I love and tossing the rest of the magazines (just not enought room to keep them all). There were tons of more do-able pages in PK at the time. I really loved that mag.

I had a few published by them back in the day -- I don't think they paid? Didn't they just give supplies when they sent your layout back?

PaperKuts was one of my FAVORITE magazines! I was SO sad when they stopped publishing. I have many l/o's in my scrapbooking idea binders that were taken from PaperKuts.

This was my favorite magazine! Found a few issues myself a few weeks ago. I looked at the pages I tagged for inspiration. Some I found fit my style and others not so much. I was sad when they closed up shop.

Yes, it was my favorite. They always had a variety of most used topics in each issue like Birthday, Holiday, and Heritage which is my favorite and never enough heritage in magazines.

I loved all of the scrapbook magazines! I used to buy every issue and the special issues. Always had magazines to read. Now the only one I get is CK and it is only 6 issues, no hall of fame, idea issue, etc. And there are hardly any pages in the magazime. What happened to scrapbook magazines?
