...on my Project Life. Like week 14 behind. Please tell me I am not the only one!! How do you all stay motivated to keep going each week? I have been on a roll with scrapbook pages lately so PL has taken a backseat. Maybe that's my problem. How many of you do both PL and normal pages?

You definitely aren't the only one! I'm pretty caught up now with a few "holes" to fill in here and there, but that's because I just spent two weeks getting up I'm on break from school and have kids in sports, dance, etc and when I start school up again myself in a month I know I'll fall behind again- it's ok. It's a hobby and I do my best.

me, too!
& same story - been on a roll with pages, so with that covering my desk, I tend to leave my PL stuff alone. the thought of catching up is becoming overwhelming.BUT, I'm reminding myself that I've done it before & when the inspiration hits (or the self imposed unnecessary guilt becomes too much!), it'll happen. at least we're getting pages done /stories told, right?!

I've made PL my regular scrapbooking. I mainly scrap events, but will occasionally throw in a week or month in review. I like the ease of divided protectors and the journaling cards. It's easy enough to do a traditional page and add it into the mix too.

@amom23 - That's a good idea...maybe I should just throw my regular pages in with my PL pages and the weeks that I feel like documenting, I will!

I think I am through mid-March so I am probably further behind than you. I'll just keep plugging away because I do enjoy the format so much. No worries cuz it all gets done in the end!

I am not doing PL this year, but I have in the past. I found that I was less motivated to do regular SB layouts if the event was already documented in my PL pages. If I did do a layout, I similarly found myself less motivated to do PL pages. For me, they were hard to do together.

I decided not to do PL this year. I prefer to take multiple photos of an event, and scrap those. So for a birthday gathering/party I will take multiple photos of the guests, cake opening presents etc. Same for even small "events" like a bike ride, trip to the beach etc.

I do like the daily PL book I did previously, but I don't feel the need for one again so soon.

I made it to Easter (end of March) and am now super behind. Finally got all my photos printed for those weeks between and just need to get working on layouts. It starts to feel a little overwhelming when you get so far behind and yes, I know the point is for it to be simple and to make it what works for you but I really do want to do the weekly layouts and have enough to document each week, just having a hard time finding the time to sit and do them. I like to do more than just plug in the journaling cards and photos. Guess I just haven't found my stride yet.

I think part of my problem is planning out the page and deciding what size to print my photos. It seems like so much computer work and I really just want to get playing! I think that's why scrapbooking has been my MO lately because all I need is one or two photos. That doesn't take very long. What do the rest of you do for photo planning in PL?

For planning PL, I have to sit down in front of my computer with a Design A planner page and start looking through my pictures and fitting them into spots. I basically plan my spread then start resizing my pics. These steps are not my favorite... I like putting it all together the best!

I am one month behind (I do PL month by month) but I'm not too worried about it as I have my journaling and keep all my photos in Dropbox which dates each photo. Highly recommend it!
