Who made that gold dot vellum that was so popular a while back? I would love to get my little scrappy hands on it!

I think lady bug is the red dot vellum she did for Neapolitan.

That Vellum! When it first came out, I was undecided about it - I'm not usually a "gold" person. So I bought 1 sheet of it and fell in love with it. Of course when I went to purchase more, it was no where to be found. So now I'm hoarding what's left of the piece I have. They probably had no idea when they made it that it would be so obsessively popular! Maria

I think Crate Paper had a gold dot vellum in last years Christmas collection. Can't remember the name right now...

I managed to get only one sheet at my LSS, even though they had a bunch. I wasn't sure about it and then of course fell in love. So of course the LSS was sold out of it at that point. But they got some from Crate!! The dots are uneven, unlike Lizzie's, but still gives the same effect. I hear people are still finding the Crate vellum online. Maybe you can try to find it =)

It might be possible to buy regular vellum and use the gold metallic Martha Stewart paint to replicate it a bit if it really isn't ever coming back!

I haven't seen this but it sounds like something I would buy if I did. I'm a little surprised that it's not available anymore if it was so popular...

I found that vellum at my local Paper Source, which is an upscale stationary store. They do have a website so maybe try there too, but I know they have at least a few stores around the country.

I will keep looking.

Good luck finding it...I really liked it and then it was gone so quickly. I was lucky to find some at a LSS just last week, though. Now I am looking for more of Maggie Holme's cloud paper somewhere, not just in the pad...

I bought one sheet at first, then a couple more, then realized that it would be a classical piece that I could keep in my stash for years, so I ordered a big load of those vellum sheets through my LSS.

I did the same with the Dear Lizzy cloud vellum sheet from Neapolitan. I had only one precious sheet of it, almost used up to the last scrap, and it was so hard to find any more of them. Then suddenly one day Two Peas got it in stock! I think I ordered at least half of their stock at that one time. LOL!

And, check with your LSS! There might be some stock left somewhere at the manufacturer's that your LSS could order for you!

That's where I bought mine too, at the NYC location. There are none left now.

Hey 2 Peas - any chance of getting this back in stock here? And that cloud vellum too probably huh!? Jamie do you have any info?

I have learned a hard lesson--buy the goodies when they are hot! Unfortunately, there isn't a LSS left in my neck of the woods.

Enjoy your stash for me!

The vellum still has a product page in the store which could be a good sign. I know that 2peas remove the product pages when they won't order any more of a product. So if we all click 'request and notify', maybe 2 peas could find a few packages of that vellum somewhere, and restock for all those who want to buy?

ETA - It's now out of stock. Sorry. I will keep looking here in Canada for it.

This might be of help/interest to you: Julie Campbell did a video and made her own gold dot vellum here.

I'll ask our buyer if she has any insight on its availability and if we need to take it down from the store.

mkatiej,

You know how we scrappers are: you see an awesome layout with just the right paper. Then you try to hunt down the paper and discover that the paper has been discontinued, and it is paper that could be used for lots of things!

Cheers,
