The stamps are exclusive. Images haven't been released yet. It isn't a line; just a month to month thing.

Where can we see their stamps? I looked on the Hero Arts site and the Freckled Fawn site and don't see any stamps for FF

they have a spot on their site called "doe sighting" where they are posting pics of the upcoming kit. you can see a couple pics of the stamp set here

I signed up. The funny thing is, I don't use washi. Really ever. But I just have a feeling that if I don't sign up that I will regret it. I figure that if everything is exclusive, it will be easy enough to sell unwanted washi on the FSOT board. I am most excited to see the stamps. The sneaks of this month's looks like a card making sort of set, although I could be wrong. Like someone else said, I really wish the stamps were geared toward project life type projects. I find those types to be the most useful.

ETA: I agree the price is a bit much. But like others have said, it is more a boutique club. I have always loved a lot of the exclusives of Studio calico, but never the paper. This is kind of best of both worlds.

Yup I got the email. I love FF and the kits are cute, but it's way to pricey for my budget

I decided to go for it. I was a little worried I may not always love the stamp sets, but I figure it shouldn't be too hard to sell off the ones I'm not crazy about. After going back to look at the sneak peaks again and see those wood veneers (and that adorable tin) I couldn't resist!

The tin is super cute, but I hope the kit doesn't come in a tin every month. I wouldn't know what to do with a dozen tin boxes!

I can't decide to go for it or not! I don't use washi all that much (I just don't want all of my layouts to have the same washi over and over). But I do love/use stamps. I saw today's sneak peek and I do have to say the tape for September is pretty cute!

I joined also. Everything I've bought from FF gets used immediately, which makes it a total win for me even if the per item price is sometimes high. It makes it in the book, and I'm happy to use every bit. I also have lots of paper and use a lot of embellishments per piece of paper so this would be great. (Hopeful)

@Abbeyviolet This is exactly how I feel too. It does seem pricey, but if it gets used up then it is worth it! i am starting to think i would rather pay more for quality items I will actually use than have a huge amount of items I don't . and I everything Freckled Fawn.

Just want to say that I have been playing with the kit and i LOVE it. Have already made 2 PL spreads and a layout with it, and still tons left.

I agree that it is higher than a few of the kit clubs out there but we are getting good quality product, all of which are embellishments, not paper which is cheaper, and we are getting it at market cost. I even broke out the stamps and I do not stamp.

I hope you all enjoy it as much as me once you get it.

Oh and the tin is fabulous, i will be using that for lots of things.

@Caz Since you have inside info being on the design team and all...do we get a tin every month? That would be great as I love things like that to store things in.

So in that picture is that the whole kit? Have they revealed everything? If they showed me everything I could make a decision. I can see how sneaks could be fun to get you intrigued and continue to visit the site for more but the full reveal should be made before you plunk money down. Can someone explain this marketing strategy where it's good for me? The only way I think it's a fair strategy would be if I could pass after the full reveal. For today I'm still not signing up. I'm weak minded though when it comes to sbing product and tomorrow may cave.

it looks like you can see a sampling of the entire kit here if you scroll all the way down to the first post. there are 9 types of embellishments shown which is what they say are in the tins.

they're using the same marketing that SC uses, which is to dangle a carrot in front of you with "exclusive" member only deals that they drag out all month long to keep up the hype.

not bashing, as i do sub to SC, but will be ending after my 6th month and did sign up for FF since i need a better supply of embellishments.

I'm going to try it. The stamp sneak looks so cute and I love all their embellishments anyways. Worst case I don't renew it. I also like how they included shipping in the cost. I like some of the other kits but I feel like I can get more here by spending $50 and getting free shipping. So I let my other subs run out.

I have always hated sneaks too, always felt like if I was paying for it then I should know what I am getting. But for some reason I am loving the excitement and anticipation of the sneaks with this kit. Maybe its because I really just love most things ff and they pretty much can't do wrong in my book. So I am ok with going the studio calico route for sneak and exclusivity, but if they go sc's customer service route I will be out in a heartbeat. I have high hopes for thos kit club though.

@Sunny - Thanks so much, I am so excited to be on the team, I have loved FF since it started.

I just want to say that if you did sign up and then decide you didn't like the kits (can not see that happening BTW) it is only a $5 fee to cancel, so not bad at all.

I love this side of kit clubs , all the anticipation building etc.

I think they said they will show everything in the kit on September 1st. I know some of the kit selling techniques can be a kit annoying to some people, but I honestly don't mind them. I do like sneaks because I am a "present shaker" (as my husband calls me) and the idea of seeing a bit before it shows up is something I like. I know some people would rather know everything before they commit, but I think this is pretty standard in a lot of kits, and has been for quite a number of years. Both that and the exclusivity help them build buzz and sell kits. I don't mind exclusive items, I think the idea behind that is to make it feel more boutique and special. Some people like that and some don't...I rather like the idea of getting a special box of goodies you can't just go to the LSS and pick out yourself. I am perfectly capable of pulling kits and co-coordinating items from a store or my stash, so just the co-ordination service of a kit isn't enough for me. This is probably the main reason I haven't subbed to a kit in an extremely long time. FF pushed me over the edge!

it looks like you can see a sampling of the entire kit here if you scroll all the way down to the first post. there are 9 types of embellishments shown which is what they say are in the tins.

I only see 8 types of embellishments...I wonder what I am missing, lol!

yeah, am leaning towards doing that. maybe also selling it with some of the embellishments since the overall price was keeping some peas away. it'd be a win win situation for me and someone else.

I took the plunge and subscribed yesterday. I've never done a kit club so I thought I'd be better off with just embellishments each month instead of paper too. I have way too much paper! Not sure what I'll do with all the tins but I'm excited that they will also be different colors eventually.

If they offered a kit with no Tins they I would do it. But I don't store my embellishments like that and don't want to try and find space to stack tins. Plus once the embellishments are used up what am I supposed to do with all those empty tins.

I will give the tines to the teachers by using them to put my gift cards in. This way I won't have to wrap a gift. Afterwards, they can always use them for little containers especially for crayons and stuff for all the tables.

I recently had to quit SC because of the money every month, but for less than 1/3 of what I was spending there, I get embellishments to use up on all that paper I have?

Oh those sneak peeks were my undoing. $40 to Canada is a little steep, but it'll help me use up my PL cards and paper stash. Guess an SC sub stays on my wish list. The scrap budget won't cover both. And $1.99 flat for add on shipping is a fantastic deal. Can't wait for September.
