this is TOTALLY what I was just going to write myself! :

I would love to have that space, but what I have found out, is that I am kind of a lazy scrapbooker. If I can't reach it without getting in and out of my chair to go get it, I sometimes just don't use it, so having all that paper WAY OVER there, or my embellishments way over THERE would not work so well.

I don't get up while I'm scrapping

The white doesn't bother me at all. I love the clean, modern look. I love that there's a lounge area. I love the giant buttons on the wall...

The only drawback is that I like as much as possible to be within arm's reach. I'd probably pull out a bunch of stuff in a big pile where I could reach it, then the lovely clean, modern look would be all done.

Go Tarheels!

Wow; hope the owner enjoys her/his beautiful & funtional creative haven!

Since it appears to be an over-the-garage space, the white walls & built-ins certainly make the room appear spacious & provide lots of display/storage. Unfortunately, it also reads stark & sterile. The wall painted red seems jarring in color (& evokes more hospital imagery) amidst the sea of white & illogical for a focus wall (since it draws attention to the slanting ceiling from which the rest of the space distracts), while the red rotary dial phone (mounted on the red wall) seemed misplaced in the streamlined/modern space.

My favorite area of the room is the built-in window seat. It adds function, color, & personality. Plus, I really like the grey leather chair! TFS.

I do love the large wooden buttons on the wall though. Those would be great in the sewing area of my room. Now where to find them.
I believe they are a long-ago discontinued Pottery Barn item.

I love the space, but hate how spread out it all is. I scrap standing up so if anything is mor Ethan 2 steps away it won't get used. It would be great as a craft room and combined office space for DH and I.

Or it would make an amazing walk-in closet!!! I would actually love if all my clothes, shoes, and bags were spread out like that.

I love this room too, it's perfect: sleek, clean, organized. Tasteful and playful, it is very well thought out. A true representation of the crafter's personality!
But oh the pressure of creating something worthy of the space! I couldn't handle it! LOL But I sure do appreciate those who can!

The design and architectural details are beautiful. This will never happen in my life. I can certainly appreciate it and dream what it would be like to have it in my home.

Gorgeous! She did a great job designing her space.

I showed my guy because he's promised to build me a scrap room someday when we buy a house. He said no problem. Of course, mine will probably be one tenth the size!

Although it is really nice, as others have said, it's not my style. It's TOO clean--meaning it looks like no one can touch anything or make a mess and feel comfortable. It is also way too big.

It's beautiful, but not at all my style. I tend more towards vintage/shabby chic. OK, I actually tend more towards cluttered and chaotic, but I aim for vintage/shabby chic

I'm with Mamashosh. I like the look, but it's too neat and organized for me!

I suspect it isn't always that clean and 'sterile', but it's much too white and spacious for me. I love to spread out, but hate having to walk more than a step or two to get my stuff.

To me this is an inspiration space. I can tell the photos are taken with a wide angle/fish eye lens, so the space appears much larger than it really is. Not exactly tiny, but not extremely huge either. But there are still a lot of terrific ideas in the overall design. California Closets are not exactly inexpensive either. Thanks for sharing the link.

Spectacular! I would LOVE to have all that space!
I would also warm it up a little with an area rug in the seating area, some magazines, photos etc....but I love the organization and could see myself living there!

Gorgeous! A couple of ideas there worth adapting. I am a stand-up-to-scrap girl, but as I get older I am looking for a place to "perch". For this reason I like the multi-level desk.

What a spectacular room! I love the storage and counter space. A two tier work table is a great idea! I wouldn't go for the light color as I like darker colors, but the size is perfect. Thanks for sharing.

I love white rooms and red accents! I bet it doesn't feel sterile in real life, look at all the nooks and crannies filled with stuff. There's even a ledge filled with Liquidtex, or is it Golden, paints next to the window seat/ daybed ( with black cover).

What strikes me funny-
There's a ton of room, but paper is still in Iris carts out in the hall.
Yeah- probably still unpacking, but I enjoyed imagining how our paper love always exceeds capacity.

If the owner is a Pea, thank you for sharing your space. It's inspirational, lots of good ideas. Like the two-level island style surface. That would be fantastic for demonstrations at home. Or playing while kids do homework.

I certainly do love all of the space, there'd be a place for everything, but other than that it isn't really my style. It feels a little hard and cold. I like a little more color and texture, some rugs on the floor to soften things up and stuff like that. The size is fantastic though.

Love the space and ALL OF THAT STORAGE (wow), but it's so plain and sterile. The red/black/white color scheme isn't really my taste. I like clean lines, but cozy.

It' an ad for California Closets, know what they say: "Everything is bigger in Texas" However, as organized, clean and 'staged' as this is, it's too contemporary for me. I would not give up my vintage-inspired craft room for this even though mine is probably 1/3 the space.

Whoa, that is bigger than some houses that I have lived in! Great space. I think I would be afraid to make a mess in there though. Maybe there are a few empty cabinets to throw (err, I mean place neatly) projects that are being worked on so it does not look messy. Plus, some thing are missing. Where is all of the washi tape?

My sentiments exactly. While I think it looks nice, I don't think I could be in - much less create in - such an austere space (yes, compared to what I'm used to, that could just as well be a monk's cell )

Personally, I think it crosses the fine line of too much space/too spread out, but it's pretty...

I agree. It is pretty but I would forget to use 80% of the stuff in that room because it would be so far away.

That room is easily, easily bigger than my entire apartment. Probably by about two or three.

I think my favorite is still Jana Eubank's room. I don't have a link, but I'm sure you can look it up on her blog.

I love the one in the link Angievcrafts shared too.
