Over the weekend I shifted my patterned papers a bit, separating the orange papers from the browns, and the aqua/turquoise from the blue and green. They will be easier for me to use now.

Seeing and handling those papers inspired and motivated me all over again. Love my stash!

I finished a class over at Big Picture on organizing my scrap room. Yes, I had the book but taking the class made me feel more accountable. Yesterday I did a set of 8 thank you cards for my DD and two LOs using my Cricut. I did spend $12 this month but that is all I have spent on scrapping since the New Year. I will stay frozen until the end of the month then see if there is anything I can't live without. Then I will commit to staying frozen for another 2 months. I think I can stick with it better if I just think in small time increments.

Beautiful layouts, treayaut! I never remember to ink the edges of my patterned paper. It looks so great - really have to try to do that more often.

I did make a little purchase today. I picked up the PL dies. They'll make using my stash so much easier, so in the long run it will save me from picking up more of her kits. Love how I can rationalize it, doncha?

I finally managed to get some scrapping in this past weekend. I made 5 layouts from my stash, I've even used up a few scraps that I usually forget about!

I'm finally getting around to posting my vertical mini album that I made for a friend for Christmas - I used up old stash (not all from the same line) but I think it all flowed nicely together now if I can figure out how to share with you all I will link

I had fun making them (I made two) and I will post the other when I upload in the gallery

I know this isn't the right way to link but it'll do til I figure it out

Thanx for looking

So I had to go to JoAnns to get stuff for DD project. I jumped out of the freezer for just a moment: bought a new cutter. The stupid wire on the Fiskars shredded…..

Back in I go. I love reading and feeling supported by all that you are doing…

One layout done in the last few days! Does the supply ever get smaller? I just have too much…

How do I get my badge?

Call Fiskars - they will send you a new arm that snaps off/on and if you have to replace it more than twice, they will send you an entire new cutter. They know there's a flaw and are working on it - per my last call to have mine replace!!

And a quick question -- I noticed the cute "Winterfest" button- why is it there, how'd it get there and what are the counts for? I don't recall signing up for something or changing my profile for it! It's cute and I like it, just curious what I did to earn it!!LOL

I'm still hanging in there. Got a few layouts thus weekend. On this one I pulled out some 2010 MME product out (Fine & Dandy). I'm plugging along using my stash. I'm finally seeing a dent in my Paper.

Hey ladies, been a while since I popped in. I am so proud of you all for doing so well.

I am also happy to report that I have accomplished my first goal of 50 before NSD (see signature). I finished it last night (3/3)! I am going to do a paper purge, sell it on craigslist and then stash that money away for fun money.

On to round two 50 MORE before NSD.

I'm finally frozen! I have one more package in the mail, but I am frozen - no more spending! For those who haven't heard - I was out of paper! But after a huge paper haul (and a couple of embellishments or 10) I am back to frozen!

I can't wait to get back to scrapping, I missed it My goal is to scrap 109 layouts without spending any money (except for adhesive of course). I'm fine now, but I may need your support around layout 60!

IRISH EYES - I am so proud of you. I hope you are proud of yourself. You are totally rocking on completing your 100 layouts. I look at each one. Keep it up, you are in the home stretch.

CARLIE - enjoy your new goodies (paper) and I hope you get alot of scrapping done. Share some of your layouts.

I am still on my FREEZE and still using what I have. This weekend was a bit stagnant for me. I didn't find inspiration in any of my stash. I scrapbook every weekend at home or with friends and this weekend I was just stuck. Finally Sunday evening around 7pm, I decided to pull out one of the oldest lines I have and JUST DO IT.

This is from 2008 MME line called DREAMY2. It was a struggle but I got it done and I'm okay with the results.

I must admit, I am 7 months in and it's finally hitting me that I haven't purchased any scrappy goodies in a LONNNNNNGGGGG time. But I am finally seeing a dent in my embellishments. Not so much in my paper yet.

I am determined to make it to 7/31/14 without using any of our money to purchase goodies. I have been holding onto my Visa Gift Cards that I got for Christmas, my birthday in November and the one DH gave me for Valentines day. I am hoping to get a little satisfaction by using those at Scrapbook Expo next month. I will not take my credit cards, my check book or any cash with me so I can stay on track.

How is everyone else doing with their freeze? Have you hit a rough patch, falling out of the freezer or a bit dismayed at not shopping?

222 DAYS IN AND COUNTING!!!

Great layouts, everyone!

Technically I'm still frozen because I'm using gift money. However . . . it is dwindling and if I want to attend last year's weekend crop this year, I need to reign it in.

The trouble I'm having is that I've rediscovered my alcohol inks and am thinking of fun things to do w/them, but I need more colors. A rare case where shopping my stash has made me want to shop more!

I am doing alright on my freeze, so glad to see how well others are doing! I've only made 2 layouts so far this month, far from my 10 a month goal, but I am still using my stash and exciting to try new things with it. Hopefully, the busyness will calm down and I can get back to some scrapping!

My stress level has been high through February and into March so I have been doing some shopping! I am recording it in a journal so that I can continue to look at those numbers and see how crazy I'm going! LoL!!! So maybe I should just look in the mirror...right!?!?!? Anyway...I really am trying to keep a handle on the amount of money I spend on new scrappy goodies! I have had a few scrap days planned and that has helped keep me motivated to use my supplies and I have at least 1 scrap day per month scheduled through May when I get a break from school. I also have a 3 day scrap weekend planned the first weekend in May! I hope everyone is able to get into their stash and use up some of it to meet their goals!

Julie it is so easy to fall back into old habits when we are stressed! You can do this!

I am still in the freezer, I did a few layouts over this month. My cardstock has taken quite the hit. I have 2 more years of freeze left. I may have to replenish cardstock before then.

You all are such an inspiration and I am so proud of you!

I'm joining the frozen peas!! (May I? ) After having a blast at the scrapbook expo this past weekend, and coming home with all of my new goodies, I had to spend a LOT of time figuring out how to store all of said goodies, as my storage is VERY limited. As I went through everything, I realized how much I truly have, in spite of doing layouts very regularly for the past 6 months. I truly buy faster than I can scrap. I've frozen myself for 2 months before, but I think I need to aim for at *least* 6 months this time (excluding albums and sheet protectors). I have adhesive up the wazoo, so I shouldn't need that. I think I'll also do a purge fairly soon, as there are lots of items that have just been sitting and I no longer like or know I won't use. I'm going to tell my DH to keep an eye on me too, so that I can be accountable! Ok, so here goes 6 months of FROZEN!

I think I need to jump in the freezer for awhile. Received a package today with a bunch of the new Simple Stories Sn@p sets and ordered the PL Happy core kit off HSN. Aside from photos and potentially page protectors/adhesives, I'm freezing until June for sure and then we'll see where I'm at. Help me stay strong, frozen peas!

Ladies after 7 months I caved just a tiny bit - i worked a booth at the expo this past weekend and while I got a lot of free product I also purchased 6 rolls of wash and gold arrows from Freckled Fawn - only $4.50 for all that but still a purchase. jumping back in the freezer now.

Just checking in to say I'm still frozen but it has been difficult especially during a trip to get some adhesive and an album this past weekend. I'm officially up to 35 layouts completed so over half way there. Also wanted to say thanks for this thread and all you ladies because I see now how much I really needed this freeze to rethink my spending habits.

Hello my lovely frozen peas. I am just checking in. It's been awhile since I've posted. I am still FROZEN and counting down. I have just been so very busy at work...Accountant (It's our busiest season - TAXES!!!! ARGHHH!!). I am looking forward to getting crafty again soon and continuing using my stash. I have been doing a layout a week so that keeps my mojo flowing. I hope everyone is still hanging in there, being strong, focused and striving to reach the goals you've set.

I have completed one measely LO. And let me tell you, it was painful! I seem to have lost my mojo. During my March thaw I bought 4 PL mini sets from M's, the ones that are $5 each. But now I am back in the freezer contemplating trying to finish another LO. You ladies who are in double digits, I so admire you! Maybe someday my mojo will return...

Jen1021, I hear you! I managed to complete some layouts this month, but it was painful! I could not get any momentum and was frustrated with all but 3 of them. I just did not feel like making anything this month but pushed through, thinking I just needed to get started to get my groove back. Didn't really work. I also hope my mojo comes back, preferably sometime soon.

I have some things in my basket, but haven't hit the button to purchase.

I completed 96 layouts since I started my freeze. I haven't been perfect, but pretty close! I may need to challenge myself to do another 100 before I make any big purchases.

I am beginning to notice how much money I am saving with Archiver's closed. I went there every week.

I got a few pages completed this weekend. Still pushing along, using what I have. It seems through the years, I've purchased nearly every line of either COSMO CRICKET and MME. This line is 2009 Cosmo Cricket line - LIL' MAN. Photo of my nephew and how much fun I have with him since my kids are older.

Well, I finally succumbed. I completely thawed. I am almost out of gift money and I spent way more than I should have this past weekend. Since I am frozen, this means I shouldn't have spent anything, so this is not good at all. I leave Friday for 3 days of scrappy fun w/my sister & 2 friends and I think the excitement took hold and I went haywire.

I will shamefacedy climb back into the freezer. Pray that I can get thru the weekend visit to a LSS and not spend anything. I sure don't need it!!

I did a little retail therapy this weekend. I also created one LO with my new stuff. My excuse is that my mojo is completely missing and I thought maybe new stuff would get me going. I did do one LO that I lifted from the gallery but it was painfully slow. And now I am crawling back in the freezer...I certainly don't need anything and purchasing new stuff didn't make my mojo reappear. Stupid mojo.

I am still frozen. I've finished 75 of 100 layouts before I can shop. I am happy with how things are going and determined to make it to 100.

Good job ladies on staying in the freezer. If you tumble out, get right back in and use your stash.

3/4 of the way there

Frozen challenge:100/100 - it took me seven months to complete 100 layouts without shopping, but I did it!

I did not make it thru the weekend.

Good news is, out of the 4 of us who went, I spent the least in every store.

We all agreed that next time we go away, we are not even venturing into any stores at all. I think that's my downfall. If I would just stay out of them, I wouldn't see all the pretties.

I am DETERMINED to stay freeze up and stay there!

Hello all,

I think I broke my own record....

A few days ago, I went to M's for a pack of cellophane bags, spending a total of $3.17, yes, three dollars and seventeen cents. It just dawned on me that I actually went into M's, bought the one item that I went there for, and left.

Yep, a new record.
