@shecallsmenana, yes, I have twin girls-they will be 10 next month. I also have a 12 yr old son and a 14 yr old daughter...teenagers are fun hopefully I live through it all. They may drive me to the nuthouse first

In regards to the WRMK 3X4 punch, I got one a long time ago and I hated it. It was HEAVY and bulky and quite hard to press. I was so much faster in my cutting/rounding with my trusty tools LOL! Does that help those that want it? LOL!

I figured I would ask here first, does anyone have an embossing folder in their stash of elf legs/shoes/faces? And if you do can I paypal you some money to emboss me a few for my Elf Daily? I don't want to buy the folder as I am not sure I will finish this project (sad huh?) and well I am frozen LOL!

@margievis I am so tempted by everything since I decided to go cold turkey! There are a few other recent releases that are grabbing my attention. BUT we have to stick together! We can do this! I think we all look to you @Treyaut for your wonderful example and determination! It helps me stay strong! WE ARE WARRIORS!

@margievis: You can resist! And I agree, the 20% off sale here is making the freeze hard to keep to, especially now when a long coveted product collection is finally in the warehouse! I am in need of albums and page protectors, which I was prepared to allow during my frozen state since I don't stock up on those two items, but the temptation to add just a little extra to the cart since I am planning to purchase the needed "allowed" supplies is killing me.

I'm working on a layout that's slowing me down. It makes me...want to go buy something. I'm almost done with it, though. They don't all have to be masterpieces, right?

I'm so glad you mentioned going to the gallery for inspiration, Crystal. I found this awesome multi-photo two page layout that I would love to scraplift.

I'm not tempted at all. I have about 12 Christmas lines I've collected over the years and I don't even scrap Christmas LOs or make Christmas cards. There is nothing out now that will justify me even falling of the frozen wagon. I'm hoping you ladies are staying strong. Pull out those old Holiday lines and spread the frozen holiday cheer.

How many collections did you HAVE to have but never used? That answer for me is 100's therefore I need nothing right now and I am not tempted by anything. I lve love love paper and ribbon and embellies only to let them accumulate dust and never get used. Some of them get buried deep never to be found when I need them. Some I don't even remember buying only to buy again.

I'm so ready to make some sense of my craft room and not feel so overwhelmed

I don't have that elf die. It sure is cute tho

I also have Heidi Swapp Believe and Glitz Design Finley paper pads from before I froze, plus Bella Blvd's Christmas Countdown that I won, plus several more older lines...but...but..they are so pretty! I want more! Lol! Wait...you girls are right! This is why I am on a freeze. I scrap Christmas, but there is no way I can use all of that! In fact, now I am thinking I should give some away, after typing all of that out!

Margie I have so much Christmas and don't know why, Uhmmm because it was pretty, I had to have it. I can say with all honestly I won't use half of it. I just can't get into scrapping Christmas especially on traditional Christmas papers.

I have RAK a few lines to some fellow frozen peas, so I'm there with you YOU FO NOT NEED ANOTHER CHRISTMAS LINE. Yep, that's me putting my foot down and yelling at you. You can do it.

I was scrapping some Easter photos this week and discovered just how much Easter stuff I have! Sheesh...I am staying in the freezer

I have a 4 day retreat next weekend and I have purchased only adhesives for it. I am determined to use up a chunk of my stash.

I also backed away from the Christmas stuff. I have a lot of a Christmas kit from last year left over, half a collection and a full collection hanging out in my stash. I only made a total of six layouts last year, which was a record high, since I only usually scrap one! I am usually not tempted by Christmas paper since I don't scrap a lot of it. Halloween on the other hand....I have curtailed my shopping on that front by going through my Halloween stash to remind myself of what I have. Just holding the physical product I have seems to help.
I should make time just to cuddle my stash. It may help to curb the urge to shop.

Had to share some frozen inspiration....I posted last night that I had to fall in love again with some Christmas collections I bought LAST year and are unopened, two of which are TC Christmas Cottage and Carta Bella Christmas Day. I plan on using a lot of it in this year's DD album because they compliement each other, both vintage colors etc. So I was out on youtube and found a DD video from last year where a gal was showing what she was using for her DD and guess what? BOTH of these lines!!!!! BOOM, my stuff is NEW again!!!

I didnt' get time to look but hoping she has additional videos posted of how she used the product and what the final album looks like.

Happy Frozen Friday!

grant17 - I love that! Yes, cuddle the stash. Thats why reorganizing my stash always inspires me to scrap more - handling the product.

Also love the "whats old is new again" posts. I had hoarded collection packs and made a real effort to get them opened and circulating in my stash over the last year and I love it! I still have a few unopened and stored that didnt fit in my regular drawers. So until I have room for those I can "shop my stash" if the shopping bug hits me too hard.

Yes thank you Treyaut for keeping me in the freezer!!

I am finding that since coming back into scrapbooking after a year+ hiatus, I am looking at shopping differently. Sure, I am still getting bitten by the "I have to have something new" bug with an occasional line, but I found that I didn't miss as much new stuff as I thought. Makes it easier to go play in my stash when I have something similar that will work. So it is getting easier to see what I actually might need for a project rather than buying with no project in mind, just to have the new stuff.

Hi peas! Just checkin' in to see how everyone is!!

I'm feeling real excited because I made a teeny dent in my stash making these small halloween treats for my daughter's class!!

It was neat being able to use super old K&CO supplies! The only thing I had to purchase were the plastic skeletons ($2) and of course the candy inside

Enjoy your weekend everyone! And get you're scrap on!!

Treyaut~ That is very kind of you to offer someone Christmas paper so they don't break out of the freezer. I am guilty of doing just that. I didn't own any.

OK Frozen Peas I did something that I didn't think I was going to be able to do but I did and I am happy about it. I cancelled my OHDEERME subscription kit. It was hard but had to be done especially when I know the bill to my patio is coming this month.

Good for you! The great thing is that there is always more where that came from. When we're ready. When every single one of us is ready to shop there will be something new and amazing that we love - a kit to order, a fabulous new collection, or a paper pad.

I'm on day 78 and for the most part I'm going strong. I find that I certainly don't need anything. I want to shop out of boredom and I want something to spark some creativity and desire to scrap. But, honestly, if I can't find that spark in the piles of stuff I already have then I must not really want to scrap.

saying hello to everyone. yay for all of the success and even those moments are successes waiting to happen.
margievis... yay on your kit.
just wanted you to know that I often toss in random stuff.
My Taco Bell wrapper is looking a lot like TC colors(I don't know the collection- tans, lite aqua, black/white). Found an art journal that I made a little while ago that I will be using for my Nov./Dec. stuff this year. I used a 4 year old GC from Shimelle the other day and now not so patiently waiting for order to get here!
Last November when I was making my counterfeit kit, I decided to gather all my Christmas and Thanksgiving stuff together and store it( so glad I did that). happy creating this weekend, be sure and over your stash.

Thanks for talking me down, guys! I instead went through my stash and looked over all of my pretty Christmas supplies and fell back in love with it. I do have plenty of pretty stash, I will be fine. I did have to pick up some adhesive, but that's on my "allowed" list, and that's all I got ! So, still frozen!

How much would you have spent on items during the sale? If you can, take 1/2 or even 1/4 of that amount and purchase items for your local food drives in your area. Take a picture of what you've done and use your stash to document it. If you get your spouse and/or kids involved, it will make the picture more extra special.

Went to J's and M's this week. Wasted 2 hours looking at items and evaluating if I really needed the items. After 2 hours, I left without anything. That's good. Could I have finished a PL layout or two in that amount of time? Yep. "Shopping" for nothing caused me time, gas and energy.

At least I realized it and most likely won't repeat it in the near future!

Cheers from Southeast Sunny Florida!

I have been tempted as well but have held out. I have so many Christmas lines that I have not used or only used a bit of. The Autumn lines are what I am having a hard time resisting I love Autumn and have used up quite a large percent of my themed papers and find myself pulling together papers that are autumn colors and feel from other areas to fill in. I would love to buy even a Autumn stack. So hard to resist.

I am still frozen. This would have been a tempting weekend since I've had the house to myself and am in a scrappy mood. New stuff is always fun to play with but I'm forcing myself to make do and liking the results!
I am working on Christmas and using cardstock with Christmas lines to make them stretch a bit farther. I used a pp a big hole in it, lol b/c it matched the facing page. I covered it with a photo that fit just right.
Then I tried to do some masking with bad results, so patched up with another scrap. The challenge now will be to try to coordinate 2 more pages w/those 3 b/c I try to use coordinating colors for each year.

I just finished Halloween treat bags using my stash (used up 3 rolls of Halloween ribbon and 2 sticker sheets).

I went to a scrapbook LSS yard sale today and bought NOTHING!!!! I even went into the LSS and repeated my zero buying trend. I honestly did not need a thing there! My favorite result of this frozen adventure is keeping a running list of all the product and projects I have completed. I've hit my goal of 30, but I'm going to keep on creating with my stash and stay frozen. My BF is so proud of me too!

I am not quite frozen but I am COOLED.....

I can go to M's and winners, home sense etc ( Canadian stores like Marshall's and TJ Macx) and come out with nothing or close to nothing.

We had a 4 day crop at one of my cottage rentals for 5 of us ladies and one day we went to a LSS store, a discount store, M's and a dollar store. I was usually the type that would spend the most but this time I was the one who spent the least except at the LSS where I was 2nd lowest. I have been very good before and after that.

Went to M's on Friday and just got a Zig pen I needed and nothing else.

All summer I was working 15 hr days 7 days a week from Mid-May till September 30 so there was very little scrappy spending.

I also have a scrap space in Florida and I found that I have a need to spend ridiculous amounts until I have a comfortable stash but after that I am ok with using my stash.

All I need is to get a better stash of embellies but I am going to be trolling yard sales this winter for that.

I am not going to Freeze but I plan on staying COOLED. Thanks for the inspiration.

I love the smell of card stock in the morning.....

The Movie poster that is my avatar is very special cause my husband is in it and it won best film at the Canadian Film Festival in 2012. See it......It's super funny.

Jumping back in. Just came from a 3-day crop, saw stuff, but I got out of there spending under $28 total, and what I got was specifically for current projects, so I know that they will be used along with my stash immediately

passion I sent you a PM!

Thanks again Treyaut for your inspiration and your kindness.

I went through my stash again this weekend and pulled all the cutesy red/green I could find and some white accents. I have a snowflake punch and a star one so I will punch a bunch of white for embellishments in the elf daily I am planning. Besides pattern paper I think I have enough to get it done my way YAY!

I didn't get any scrapping done except for that and coloring some leaves I cut on my Cameo for my Thankful album but we did a lot this weekend so lots of memories made!

One week back in the freezer and I'm hangin' in there!

Only got one page done this weekend, but I did use some older supplies. OK, so they were only letter stickers, but they were 10 years old, so I'm shoppin' my stash, lol.

I'm so ready to get in my scrap room. We just did my dgd first birthday party and did a lot of crafty stuff for it but I'm ready to start doing layouts again, and cards, and mini's, and stuff. I think I'm going to do a Complete 1st year album for my dd of her dd. We have a zillion pictures and since DD doesn't have time I think I'll get working on that.

I also want to make some DD and some Thankful mini's for November.

I have a lot to do and I'm so ready. I think I'll spend next weekend creating.

Hi fellow Peas,
I am ready to go in the freezer! For months now I have received several monthly kits that have gone mostly unused. Over the past few months I have slowly cancelled my subscriptions. I have yet to cancel my GB PL kit but may do so at the end of the year. I have been producing many PL pages but have found that the kits come with so many products and that I wasn't using them up before the next kit arrived.
I did purchase the DD kit from GB and am glad that I did. I think regardless of being frozen or not I will always purchase a DD kit. The DD album is the only project I actually finish!
I hope joining this thread will keep me motivated and give me inspiration.
You are all so inspiring. Thanks for sharing your thoughts on this thread.

Day 17 of riding the frozen train with my fellow Peas! I completed a Halloween mini from my stash and I am super excited to actually see a dent being put in my scrapbook mini store of a room! I also canceled the remaining two autoships on HSN for those BH kits. Another $60 saved!

It seems like I'm on a kick of using up 6 by 6 paper pads. How about the rest of you? What type of product do you feel like you are using more of in your current frozen state?
