Good Morning Danielle - how has your week been? Mine has been crazy busy - it has been one of those weeks at work where you wonder how the heck some of these people got hired to begin with - ya know! If I hear one more time but I can't find the jam in the copy machine (like it is my job to fix everything around here - they just don't want to get toner on their hands!) End of the day can't come soon enough for me this week!

SO anyway . . . how are you feeling? Have the boys got settled into a routine for school? I'll bet they are looking forward to the weekend too! Do they play any sports?

I am so sorry! I had a response all typed out and must have not hit submit. Bummer as my dh shut down the computer. Well the last few days have been uncomfortable to say the least. It's supposed to be 104 and my cast was just put on yesterday so the heat not my friend. I actually will have new xrays in 3 weeks to determine if I will need surgery with a screw but as of now I am in a cast for 8-10 weeks due to the type of fracture, Jone's fracture, and poor blood supply. Lends to difficult and long healing process. Around mid-November my cast comes then I will have a walking/soft cast. Can I say that time cannot come fast enough? So it looks like our spooky Halloween get-together with the pool and spa in orange, purple and black will not involve me.

My son really loves Thomas the Tank these days as well as Duplo Legos and Play Doh. Play Doh is harder to do with him at the moment as I can't set it up without making a mess of it because of my crutches but we have so much fun creating when I do!

Gosh any must haves? Well it's fun popping on the GS Board and seeing what everyone is raving about to get ideas. I love seeing the holiday lines that are about to, or have been, released. I would love to get my hands on older Graphic 45 Nutcracker Sweet or Happy Hauntings paper & chipboard stickers/tags but also really like Teresa Collin's Santa's List line or Masquerade Party. OH! I just discovered Elle's Studio 2014 Calendar paper. I would love to use these for next year. What a smart idea on their part! I just added it to my Halloween wishlist if it helps. That and more black and brown inks. Realized mine have all dried out when doing my Halloween matchboxes.

Do you have plans this weekend at all? I am still adjusting to life on the chaise and thankful my dh is home for the next 3 days as crawling upstairs is just too tiresome and keeping up with Jaxson too. Man if I could just get this cast off soon....

Hey Michelle! How has your week been? Did you recover from the long holiday weekend? Those days always throw me off for some reason! Any big plans this weekend? I plan to just hang with my family....it's the first weekend in a long time and probably the last weekend in a long time we don't have something planned! So I'm just gonna go with it!!!!

HOpe you have something fun planned!

Just popping in to say "hi"!

Other than my foot killing me at the moment, cast feels too sizes too small and heel aches besides bone fracture pain, I am couch-bound and wanted to see how everyone is doing.

We are postal in one month. Can you believe it? I definitely cannot!

Hi Tessa, a box from two peas came today.
Bet you will like what is inside. Can't wait for another to come too.
Do you have any plans for this weekend? I have to work but I plan to finish up a swap I am in. I worked outside all day today, and the yard looks great. I will not have to feel guilty when I hide downstairs and work on my project.
What a beautiful day it was, how about for you? Warm during the day and cool at night, perfect for the bonfire we had last night. Maybe we will have one tonight too, and have the some-mores fixings available.
Have a great weekend,

BootoStansGal-
Last weekend was busy. Went to Branson Missouri for a family weekend of fun for my daughter's 8th birthday. Vacations(even the mini ones) should not be so exhausting.
This week has been nothing but a blur.County Fair is going on and we are very involved. My husband is a fair board member. My kids show rabbits, chickens, sheep, and goat-FFA and 4H projects. So this added to our already full schedule of dance, sports, band, and church functions has me ready to pull my hair out. My daughter's dance group is actually performing this afternoon at the fair. Two of our animals made it to the "Auction" which is an honor(money money) and my middle child is in the "All Around Showmanship" today but I had to work so dad is there with them.
Obviously NO scrapping being done right now.
But hoping to do some next week. The schedule isn't as hectic and the DH will be out of town on business.
Anyways, until next time

*Missy*

Hi Ms. Rhonda!

How was your Labor Day? Was it relaxing? Are you in the dreaded heat some of the country is experiencing right now? We sure are and I say enough to that!!! Looks like I'll be admiring my boots from afar for the time being.

Just wanted to let you know I am putting your package together as I type and enjoying the swap thus far.

Any certain projects you are tackling this week? Do you do Project Life or some form of it?

I know you all will understand this!!!!! We found out our newest grandbaby will be a boy last night but we can't post anything (pictures) included until after 5:00 today to be sure the other side of the family has been told and I'm about to bust!!

Brian, the soon to be big brother was taken to Build a Bear to build a bear for the baby and then he got to show us the bear he built to let us know Boy or Girl! He dressed a baby blue bear in camo fatigues, work boots, dog tags and a hat and named him General!

Thanks for letting me share!!!!

Hi Michele - sorry it's been so long. Between work and the holiday I have been swamped!! Did you have a nice holiday weekend? Any special events you now get to scrap?

Still scrapping up a storm? I am so jealous!! I have a few things to do then I hope to finish a page I started last night. I have the house to myself for a little while so instead of cleaning the entire time I am going to scrap!!

I think I know exactly the arrows you are talking about. I have them on my wish list also. Have you seen the little blue sunbursts? Not sure if that's what they are called but that is what they look like to me. They come in two colors of blue and they are glittery. Super cute - I have them. Well - only a couple left.

I did get one package for you the other day. I have to get going on some of the personal goodies too. Do you collect anything for Halloween or do you just love it all? Pretty soon I have to drag my stuff up from the basement. I emptied all my pots of flowers so now I have to get my mums and sunflowers to replace them. I love fall but it makes me sad summer is over. Plus, I am not really a fan of winter. I love the holidays - hate the snow!!

I hope you have a great week!! Talk soon ~ XO your sis

Hey Fallsister! Spent a nice day today with a girlfriend of mine. We went to a movie theatre that has a restaurants in it to see The Millers, then did some shopping. Then I came home to an overwhelming amount of stuff that needs to be done well, one step at a time I guess.. My daughter starts dance team tomorrow which is five days a week. She's excited! I've been trying to find some crops this fall, there just aren't any around anymore I found one in the next state over the end if this month, I'm trying to talk a friend into going with me.
I hope everything is well with you and glad you had a nice weekend! Have a great week

Happy Sunday LabDianna! I hope you had a good week and weekend this weekend. We have had great weather here!
I have a lot of projects going right now, I'm in a few swaps I'm working on and I just got the binder and accessories to start my December Daily this year. I'm going to try to stay on top of things this year (now I do say that every year and it never happens)
Have any fun fall events or trips planned? It's my favorite season!

Michelespumpkinfun-
Hi!!
I had a good weekend. I have decided to rearrange my scraproom again. I am just not satisfied. I got an awesome desk at my fave flea market for $20.00!! I painted it black to match my room and I plan on trying to work on it tomorrow since I am off. It has 2 smaller drawers and then a taller one on the bottom- both sides. One side is for hanging file folders, which I love as I will keep my scraps in there. I also love that I can hide all that small clutter on my desk in the drawers!!! Yay!! I am looking for some small milk glass bowls for the inside of my little drawers to hold little embellies!! I could use any little bowls really, they don't have to be milk glass.I also need a carousel for tools but even with coupon at HL that is still $20.00 or so and I don't want to spend that much. I have been on pintrest and have some ideas going. I think I can save some cans and decorate them and put them on a lazy susan. I think I will like this more as I can get creative. I also like enamel ware pans.looking for a couple kinda med and large ones with or without lids.
I really like Halloween anything!!
I like those little blue star things too, so cute!!
Its nice to hear from you!! Hope you got a lot of scrapping done today!

MommaHo...congrats!!!

I just found out yesterday that I'm gonna be a grandma again too. Oy...lol But, even if it's not what I had planned for my son, I'm happy for him because he's happy and that's all that counts.

My husband said it was him or scrapbooking... so I took pictures of him packing and made the cutest page ever!

I got a pile of scrapbook supplies for my husband. It was the best trade I ever made!

Hello everyone!

Hope you all have had a wonderful weekend. Our computer has been out of commission - a 9 year old, a kitten, and a glass of milk - you get the picture... I've used that as a reason to unplug for a few days but I've managed to borrow my daughter's laptop... can't stay away for long.

Jeanette - take care of yourself (ouch!) - we need our hostess

Pumpkinheadless - yeah! we've found each other on the board. I'll respond with a longer reply soon but I've really got to focus on getting my son ready for bed. He is using my lack of attention to draw out lunch packing when he really should already be in bed.

Y'all have a great week!

Hey everyone,
Please read OP for important swap update regarding due date.

Linda & Becky - CONGRATS!!!!! How exciting that a new member of your family will soon be joining.....yay!

Thanks everyone for your well-wishes. I'll be honest, this has been a challenge and I have lost my patience more than once. It's just so hard to be 100% dependent on crutches with no weight bearing at all and taking care of my 2 year old. I did have family help for a bit last week and my husband home for a long 3 day weekend but my gosh - I dread just getting up to go potty (potty is in my repertoire as that's what we were beginning to start here...not so much now). Still trying to figure out how to get Jaxson upstairs to nap. Anyone have tips on life with crutches and left/foot cast? Will take any AND all advice/tips/ideas.

To top it off, it looks like my Neuro still wants to go ahead and do my brain procedure in early October since, as he puts it "I'm down for the count" anyways. I dunno. Having mixed feeling about that. Yes I am immobile for the most part but having to recover from that would be in my benefit to be able to walk....I see both sides but just get anxiety about thinking of it all. I just want to host swaps & scrap lol!

Hi Spooky Sis, first let me say this - NO MORE LABOR DAY WEEKEND TRIPS FOR YOU!!!, lol, you seem to have had a doozy. My DH and I painted our family room and did some minor repairs in the house. We have lived there since 1999, so lots of little things are starting to pop up. I'm so boring, lol.

I have been trying to set up a new area for my scrapping/crafting. Our DS has a friend, a wonderful young man who was homeless after a tiff with his grandmother. So we moved him in and into our guest room which was also my little studio area. So now I am crammed into a corner of the playroom and I am so missing my own space. But I would rather this young man h ave a safe place to be.

I hope you have a great week and stay away from the tornadoes.

Hugs.
Rhonda

Hi Amy! Wanted to fly by to say hi and let you know I'm just about done shopping for you. I was having a hard time finding some of your wish list wishes so I finally thought oh duh, I can find it online. So I got the rest of your shopping done. Do you have any other candy/treat likes. I know this will sound crazy, but I'm having a hard time finding red licorice I hope you have a good week. It's very busy around here. Good thing I keep a spare broom on standby!

Hello again Rhonda! I did just pop in to the summer SS and leave you a message, but I also wanted to respond here.

I can't imagine not having a scrap space!! Before we built our current house I never had a scrap room, so I had to haul everything out anytime I wanted to scrap. Needless to say, I didn't do much crafting. I so enjoy having my own space, you are a saint for giving yours up! I am sure the young man really appreciates the help. You seem like such a good soul. I am so happy to get to spoil you this time around!

As for the labor trip, oh my goodness. Lol, yes, I think I may need to stay home labor day weekend from now on. I do NOT need a repeat of that trip!! Lol.

Well, I hope you are having a fabulous week!! I am trying to get some work done and my house cleaned so that I can craft guilt free for an hour before the kids get home. Wish me luck!

Hi Miss J - hostess with the mostess (booboos that is, lol). Girl, I hope you feel better soon. You have had the worst luck health wise. I wish I was nearby to help out. But since I'm not, I am just spoiling you greatly so that when you get the package, you will just smile all over.

Hows that boy? I have been getting some things for him as well. I love kiddos so much and spoiling them is definately something I love to do. Give him a hug for me and take one for yourself.

Have a great week and take care of yourself. Loves!

Fallingforyou - I think your right, they just don't want toner on their hands! I'd love to find an office job around here that I could do part time. That's my ideal world though!

I'm okay, Had to have a tooth pulled today because of the infection my body got from the surgery. So I'm very sore but recouperating slowly. Just glad to be out of pain!

My boys are adjusting, no sports for them. Not til spring then my little guy plays baseball. Here in CT winter is all about snow - we play in it, go sledding and this year may attempt skiing (yikes!) since they've been asking!

What fun plans do you have for the weekend? Sounds like you deserve a little scrappy time after the days your having!!

Our LSS is closing There will be just 1 left in the state after this. Bummer!

Hello Jeanette! I'm so sorry for what your going through. I've never been in a cast and I can't even imagine the annoying itchiness of it during the heat your having. It's been very cool here I'm loving this weather. Today was surprisingly hot and humid after a crazy thunder and rain storm. I've been so crazy busy for work I'm ready for this weekend.

I've got an order coming soon from Twopeas I know you'll love it. Looking forward to doing some shopping for Jaxson - by the way I love that name.

Try to relax and not stress too much about the everyday worries. Things will all work out. Talk to you soon!!

Hey BootoLabdianna,
The holiday weekend was busy and the weather was great. Today is very hot and sticky, but by end of week is supposed to be cool.
I should start a Dec daily, that might help a lot. Seems like you are always behind getting ready for the holidays. Although I have gotten quite a bit of Christmas shopping done already. Easier on budget if start early.
I have a bus trip to Traverse City in a couple of weeks, so looking forward to getting away. It will Fri to Sun, with a bunch of fun ladies. I am sure we will go to at Least one winery and the casino. Especially on the all you can eat seafood night, yum crab legs.
Talk to you soon

Hi Tessa,
Another box came today, yeah. One item damaged, but already reordered replacement and exchange. I will be ready to mail after that. Tease
It was a scorcher today, not at all like the fall weather we had this past weekend.
Do you like to go to apple orchards for cider?
Or any other fall activities?
Do you decorate the home with anything special, for this time of year?
It is so hot and humid right, I am thinking about taking a cool bath. I will probably have to give my grandson one first, with bubbles.
Take care,

Morning Danielle - CT sounds like a great place to live for winter sports! We used to love to take our children sledding in the winter! Do you get a lot of snow? We haven't had much lately! I don't think I'd be brave enough to ski - I'm good to stay on my own two feet much less try to go slipping down a hill on a ski! LOL

Well, enjoy the rest of your week.

Today, like so many others I will be having a moment of silence at 8:46 for 9/11. They are never forgotten . . .

I completely agree about the holidays! I start my shopping in June because the holidays are a big deal to us and we just love it. (Many people think I'm crazy- but it does help budgeting). Hope your having a good week

Good Afternoon Falling for You!

Yes we reserved many moments of silence. We have a cousin who was/is a police officer is times square and we remember waiting forever on that day to hear if he was okay. Most have now since moved out of NY but they are still there and he is still a police officer there. It's good that everyone remembers all those people!

We get snow, oh lordy do we! Last year we had a snow storm that dumped over 3 feet of snow on us within 2 days. We were stuck inside until backhoes and payloaders could clear the roads days later, it was awful. I'm hoping this year will be much milder!

I am a klutz! I cant imagine skiing going well but the guys wanna try it so I'm game. Worst case, I'll fall a few times and then sit in the lodge and take pictures LOL!!

Hi Terri! How have you been? I've been crazy busy!! Work has been out of control and a few late night meetings this week I'm so ready for Friday at 4:00!! Not sure what we're doing this weekend but I don't even care if its just chilling out. Possibly a hike.

Any new things you've seen on Twopeas or in the stores that you would like? There are several new things that I've had my eye on at Twopeas but I'm trying to only buy for you and my other SS.

Well I'm going to get back to my book I'm reading...Mistress by James Patterson. Have a great week

I truly adore all your effort to make me oh so happy!
As fpr treat aspect, I have been on a Dove chocolate kick the last week. Yummy paired with wine. . Also like Sweet Tarts. Hope this helps. Enjoy the rest of yours weeK!

Hi Tessa-
Hope you are having a great week!! I have been doing a little scrappin and also rearranging my room for better efficiency. I got a great deal on a cuttle bug and I LOVE IT!!! I didn't realize that you could cut out the large sizzix dies with it and I almost bought a big shot too!!
I was watching some youtube videos and stumbled upon a tutorial about this. I also found one about cutting up a pop can and making gorgeous flowers and snowflakes. I can't wait to try this!! I am finalizing your goodies now and will be shipping them off soon!! I hope you'll like it!!

Almost TGIF everyone. Yay!

I know they say "Fall" is approaching but man it is still Summer over here...100's again this weekend. In this cast... Urgh! Indian Summer time to go bye- bye.

I visited the GS Board and am covering the photo overlays....did I read correctly they are only a HSN item? I should just post on that thread shouldn't I?

Who has plans thus weekend? Love to hear them. Today is my first day out since getting cast on and fresh air does wonders though.

Hope everyone had a chance to checkin here. I'll go through the list later today for checkins.

Christina (mamaofdudes)- I hope the last couple weeks have been going smooth for you. Things are crazy hectic on my end but I'm loving it. I enjoy being busy. I've had a couple packages arrive already, and I've been picking things up when I'm out and about. All this shopping sure is fun! Talk to you soon

HI all. Just checking in. We had a few really hot days here but I think that may be behind us now. It may still get warm but it is in the 60s today making me think more of cider mills and halloween that last weeks pool parties did We will be going to the pumpkin patch sooner than later this year so it will still be nice out and there will still be pumpkins in the patch. Last year we went and the pumpkins were mostl all picked Have a great weekend!!

HI kangacmc, Did you get your computer fixed yet? I have been watching for you on the board. How is the weather in TX? I bet it is still hot! It is hot here too. Our state has crazy weather, one day it can be 90 and the next it will be 60. Almost all of your things are in and I am ready to ship. I am trying to hold off. Once I get my stuff together I get excited and want the intended person to see it! Hope to hear from you soon.

Hey Boo - yep a new grandson in January! I can't wait! September is treating me well - Ohio weather is so crazy, it was 95 on Wednesday and today it is only 64!!! I've got my Yankee Candle Kitchen Spice candles going and making a pot of soup for dinner - yum yum!

I can't wait to see what you are collecting for me!

Do you get many trick or treaters? We don't get any because of where we live - the girls friends used to come when they were younger though! I still like to get out my pumpkins and decorate though!

Have a great weekend!

Hi Trickortreatfortessa!!

Your really teasing me with talk of packages. I'm getting so excited. This week was so hot in the beginning and the cooled right off. We had two nights of really bad rain storms. We got about 3.6" of rain in 12 hrs. It's been hard on my husband for the farm crops.

We are fortunate that we have two orchards near us and then a cider mill about an hour away that we go to to get cider. I love this time of year gets me in the baking mood. We also like to go hiking at the many trails a d mountains that are near us.

The first of September I decorate my house for fall I have fall leaves, pumpkins etc around the house. Plus I love to burn pumpkin spice, and baking scent candles.

Have a great weekend!

Happy Sunday Ms. Brooklyn,

How was Tempo Club? I may have butchered the name. Is it affiliated with school band? I am not familiar with band myself as I was swamped with sports and yearbook many moons ago but I am intrigued by it from the name alone. Now I may be way off base here but that scene from The Breakup of Jen Anniston's brother with his singing group in the bedroom.....ha ha.

Anyhow how are you coming along that new Cameo of yours? I know when I had first got mine earlier this year I watched many You Tube tutorials to familiarize myself with it. I haven't used it much all summer and quite honestly, I pretty much forgot how to use it lol. My latest thing was creating Instragram-type frames with a word/name at the bottom but I would have no clue how to do it again if I needed to right here and now. I have bookmarked a few threads from one pea whose style of teaching was simple for me to follow to get a few concepts down.

Anything interesting going on this week? I have something myself but it's too bad I can't reveal it or you would surely know who I could be perhaps. But who knows, maybe not. All I can say is my coffee has not kicked in yet so I may be talking in circles.

Have a great Sunday!

Waving wildly to Amy It's no problem about the wishlist items. They have been found and just waiting to catch a broom your direction. I also placed an order for the personal wishlist items also and I'm waiting for them to arrive. Thank you for the additional candy likes. I'm sure if I head to the store I will find the licorice now that I have more choices I will finish up that last bit and as soon as the other order gets here I will be ready to send that broomstick flying your direction.
