Hi ladies! So sorry I have not been able to play! My scrap space is a sad, empty space! Hoping to get back to it soon. I have a 4 day retreat to look forward to the beginning of November!

Yippee! Thanks for the great prompts and I will be playing this time.

Question - does the chipboard have to be naked to use it or alter it?

Scrapfest was a blast! It was smaller but we still had fun. We also went to the OA warehouse sale which was coincidentally happening at the same time. Got some awesome bargains. Well worth the 1 1/2 hour wait in line to get in.

See you later- hopefully with some pages!

Thanks, Marianne, for the new prompts. These will be a CHALLENGE for me this time. But that's what a challenge is all about, right?

Jan, I'm glad you had fun at Scrapfest. Someday I'd love to go again. And to get in on the OA warehouse sale at the same time...the stars must have been aligned perfectly!

I tried prompt #3, with Shimelle's starting point. Since I scrap 8.5x11, I can't always adapt her ideas, but this one turned out so cool. It was fast too, once I had my papers arranged in the starting point, it just all came together easily! Hooray.

**I edited my first prompt because the UTEE idea came from Kim (SnappyScrappy) not tpgirl!

Also, chipboard in any way, shape or form counts.....Preprinted shapes, naked, altered, whatever. Thickers count too as long as they are the chipboard ones (not foam).

I know I am behind on picking winners for the last 2 rounds! I promise to do it tomorrow so if you have any pages that fit for last round you have until midnight to hook them up in last week's thread since the site was so wonky!

I found some chipboard I've had forever and pulled the colors for the paper from that. These were the photos I had chosen beforehand and they seemed to work together. Ordinarily, I'd probably have gone for more pink.

Hi ladies, yet another winning set of prompts Marianne!

I'm quite pleased about the chipboard challenge, as I've just bought the frames from CP's THe Pier collection, there are sooo many in the pack, 27 I think!

Sorry I didn't play last time, lots of stuff and lots of visitors going on here! This weekend we are going to my inlaws for a working holiday (vacation in US) to revamp the family holiday home. I'm taking my Scraptastic kit (if it ever arrives, not their fault, mine since I live on the other side of the world) and that will keep me busy in between the painting, 60th & 65th birthday parties and generally running around after E.

Hope fall is arriving, last year my brother got married in VT in late Sept and it was amazing!!
Spring has stalled here, the blossoms are out but the rain is coming down hard!

Have a great week!

Prompt 1 It won't be long before the chipboard is depleted. I don't have as much as I thought. Ribbons go on forever! I always seem to forget the stamps until it's too late.

I just read that the Archiver's MOA store is closing. Glad I made it to Scrapfest this year because it may be the last one. Sigh...

I have a couple of pages to scan and post later so I'll be back.

Prompts 1, 2, 4 and 5. Whew! I finished.
I've been thinking about this idea for awhile. The prompt on faves got me going. I spent a lot of time pulling snippets from here and there together. Travel, family, lace, fashion, things vintage, and art are what I wanted to highlight. I'm going to substitute in a small black and white photo of Mason and Lauren when I get it developed.

Just dashing through to post my double pager. This is for #4 to use a heart for the word love. I did that on both pages.

Love is The Tie That Binds

I'll be back later to catch up with everyone's projects.

Jan, the first thing I thought of about Archivers' closing was what about Scrapfest. I was hoping to go sometime in the future.

I Heart

This is for Prompts #1, #3, and #4.

I used some chipboard I had gotten in a kit for my birthday (2 years ago!) and I sprayed it with Heidi Swapp Color Shine in Teal. I love how it turned out! It isn't exactly like the page layout suggested but I used it as a jumping off place.

Great prompts!!! Can't wait to see what else we all come up with.

Escape

This is for Prompt #2. It was fun for me because I worked backwards from the way I usually do: I chose the stamps first, then the papers, and then finally the pictures. It was so weird for me to do it that way, but I am really happy with the result!

This will probably be it for me this go-round. None of the rest of the prompts really work well with the pictures I have to work with right now. But I will enjoy seeing what everyone posts, and promise to leave some love!

My original idea was to put both on a page but I couldn't find an example that I liked so you can use the prompt as either one or the other if that works for you.

Prompts 4 and 5 213-subtle colors and a different shape

Every once and awhile I snap a photo I really like. This is step i with the cupcakes! I love this one because it's so soft and sweet and subtle so I wanted to do something special. I like the way it turned out. I had some other embellishments on it but decided to use restrait and go for minimal.

I made this one starting with Corie's 213's Monday Monday. I usually try to use all of the prompts, but this time I only used the "use a series of photos prompt." I ended using one of Shimelle's sketch's off of her Blog.

I finally got a page done for this round's challenges. Here is Before and After.

I used Shimelle's starting point. I also used some chipboard elements from Basic Grey and Bo Bunny, along with chipboard Thickers. So prompts 1 and 3 covered on this LO.

I decoded I'd try one of the Garden Girl challenges. I thought about doing something with all the z's and x's and q's in ABC sets but settled on the floral one.

Prompts 1, 2, and 5 Glitter Girl Cluster with Complexity

GG's new video is another one on clusters. I have watched others where they fast forward through the process of choices and even at that it lasts a long time. I see that it's not a fast process for the masters. It certainly isn't for me.
