For my birthday this year, I'm going on a girls weekend for a concert, shopping, etc. I would like to do a small Snap style album with pocket pages for my two best friends who are going with me.
I am always scrapping family and kids, so I am at a loss of what collection/supplies to use for an album for just the grown ups. Any suggestions? TIA!

I don't have a specific line to suggest. But if both albums don't have to be just the same, you could create them according to your friends likes, personalities. Just an idea

What about Bella Blvd's Snapshots collection? I think it would work well for something like this.

I personally would use supplies that I think suit my friends' personalities. One might be more clean lines/simple while the other might be more girly/froo froo. That's how I would choose. Or else choose your absolute favorite line, and tell them why it's your favorite.

If you are going to make 3 albums maybe going with a PL kit would make sense since there are lots of duplicates. You could probably make all three albums with just one kit.
Kraft or Honey first came to mind to me.

There are also lots of possibilities for you from the companies that make a lot of journaling cards in the shop:
Carta Bella Hello Again
Echo Park Here and Now
Simple Stories Sn@p Her line
Simple Stories Sn@p Every Day
Glitz Birthday Wishes

Your title cracked me up. I don't have kids so I'm always making kid collections work for my pages. I never thought of it having to work the other way too. Have a great birthday weekend with your friends!!

I just use any pretty paper I like...I never care about the subjects of my pages. I just use papers that speak to me. I tend to like the more vintage floral type stuff, which inherently looks more "grown up" - like Webster's Pages (not the Allison Kreft stuff though), Prima, Anna Griffin Etc.

All of my scrapbooks are just grown ups. I use pretty much anything. Jillibean Soup, Lily Bee, October Afternoon (Travel Girl could be fun for a weekend away), Basic Grey, Webster's Pages, really anything that does not have child-themed images on it is something I will use!

I think CTMH's recent lines Lola and Sarita are nice grown up lines. I also like Basic Grey's fall line and Heidi Swapp's New Mixed Company looks cool

I like the idea of doing a PL type approach. Honey Edition is my FAVORITE!
