Morning peas. I was just curious if anyone was doing one of these albums for next month? If so are you pulling from stash? Free printables?

I always do one of these (maybe that is why I never succeed at December Daily! LOL) and will be pulling exclusively from my stash as I am semi Frozen. Anyone joining me?

I plan to do something simple. I will use what I have in my stash, because I definitely don't need to buy anything! I haven't decided if I'll try to make it fall themed, or just whatever....

I've never done one, but definitely interested. I wouldn't know where to begin. I'm horrible at sticking to projects like that.

I am planning on doing one this year. I am going to use the chocolate Project Life mini album. I think I will use some of the Fall Project Life cards, cut some cards out of fall paper, and make some on the Cameo.

I'm new to the boards and hope it's ok to join in! After having a stressful year (in which I quit scrapping) I really want start back up by doing this. I've been purging my stash and found more than enough paper and an album to use so, other than adhesive, I don't have to buy anything for it.

YAY! I am so happy to hear you all are doing it! I need someone to keep me accountable. Would making a thread here with I am thankful for....help anyone? I know I won't have time to scrap it everyday but I will be posting daily on FB what I am thankful for, as a record. That way when I have time I can knock out a few days. I am using SNAP 3X4 and a few other page protectors to spice it up. I want to keep it fall colored and have pulled some things from my stash. I need to make a few pieces with the cameo and I think I will be ready.

Are you all going to just write what you are thankful for each day? Take a picture a day? A combo of both? Use hand journaling or computer?

And WELCOME emarie803!!! Yes jump in, use that stash and rock it out!

I'm doing one and posted a list of prompts on my blog along with ways that I'll have available for others to share their progress/photos. Am using mostly items in my stash, only bought a couple new things.

Can't wait to see what others have in mind!

I am - I decided to do a 6x6. Only thing I picked up was a WRMK that was on sale at J's last weekend. Other then that I took a 6x6 I believe Echo Park pad from my stash from this years releases. I cut 4x4 mats for pictures and then also spots for journaling, which are about 1.5x2. Figure if I get motivated I can dress it up with cameo cuts, etc, otherwise it is good like it is.

Thanks Crystal!

I am thinking that I'm going to try to take pictures daily and journal for each one to try to get myself back into taking pictures. But if I don't have a photo for something, I'm not going to stress over it and just journal.

I'm hoping to have photos for each day.

I'm thinking that some days my subject will be something specific to that day, and other days something I'm just thankful for in general. Just depends on the day and what's on my mind, I guess!

I am hoping to have a photo each day, or close to each day. I will be journaling, and hopefully my DD will be too. There will be lots of embellishing. Love my embellishments!

I've never done one, but it sounds very cool to do.
Hopefully, I'll keep up with it. I got about 6 days in my December Daily album, and just gave up.
Are there examples around? Do you just use printables?

Hi all. I am definitely going to do something this year as I feel I need to take the time to PAUSE and be Thankful for all that I have. It's very, very easy for me to focus on the negative stuff right now (hubby just laid off) but I really want to FOCUS on all that we do have and put my energy towards something positive instead of negative. For ME, I know I have to keep it SUPER SIMPLE because this is a super busy time of the year and if it's not doable, I usually end of puttering out of the project after a week. So.. this year I think I am going to do the following. I ordered a small stamp from SU and just got it last week. It says: THANKFUL for. It is the PERFECT size to fit on a 3x4 card! I am simply going to stamp the saying 120 times on 3x4 cardstock.. That's one card for each person in my family. I am going to make these ahead of time. Then each of us will have a little container of the cards by our night stand and each night before bed each of us will write something on the card and date it. I am going to try and get some photos each week. Not gonna worry about a daily photo because the odds of THAT happening are slim to none. LOL!! Besides, I'd rather focus on the journaling. Not sure if I'll just binder ring them all together or what but my MAIN goal is to make sure will all jot down what we are grateful for each day.

I've been trying to figure out how to do this without doing a whole seperate mini album, and this is a perfect idea! Definitely going to do a mini tag book. Thanks for the great idea, scrap2bless!

I'm new here too and would love to try to make one of these! I like the idea of using the chocolate PL album from HSN.

If anyone has any links to their album or a list of ideas I'd love to see them! I'll be using my stash too!

I don't like mini albums. I have an added challenge of having made one, wanting my family to participate and my grandmother saying "not this year, honey, we'll all do it next year" and... well, she died before next year came along so I don't even want to TOUCH that album.

I saw people documenting their 30 things on FB last year, that was interesting. With my grandmother dying I kind of fell off on that. But I want to try it again and I want to collect them in some way. Maybe make a dedicated page in Project Life? Or even like this Pea did though it's hard to see it all with that big sticker on it. I like the idea.

I did this last year and loved it. It actually is one of my favorite projects that I've done. I was planning on doing it again this year, but now probably won't only because I am very busy on an album I am making for a Xmas gift. I really recommend doing this!!

It's ok! Please don't worry!

I was going to post a daily thread and have everyone link their pages, ideas, etc.
I was even going to throw in a challenge every now and then.

If you want, I'd be glad to hand it over to you.
Last week I found a better paying job but will also continue to work part time (living in Boston this is almost a requirement if you want to put away money in a savings account! ) so, I will be in transition and a little busier than usual.

I had still planned on doing this, but if you want it, you can have it!!!!

No hurt feelings!

I am going to try to do one this year. I made it about a week last year. But, I'm going to try to streamline how I do it -- I was one of those who got the wrong Amy Tan kit from HSN. At first I didn't like the kit b/c the colors were muted, and I tend to use brighter colors on my pages. But, then I realized how perfect the cards were for a fall-themed album! And the I decided that I was going to use that PL kit with the brown album they sent. That should make it easier, right?

I am keeping it simple too. I am hoping to make some "I am thankful" cards in advance for DH DD and I (not everyday since I KNOW they won't do that) and DS is only 14 months so no writing for him yet. I would just like to get the journaling in there that way when things are like they are now (furlough etc) I can see how lucky/blessed we really are!

I am going to ask my family if they will participate as a group project 11/1 through Thanksgiving. I'd like us to take a couple photos a day collectively between the 5 of us so it's relatively easy ... and go equally easy with the layouts - name who took the photo/why they are thankful for it. Hoping the family will want to do this together.

YAY so glad so many of you are joining us! I know for me personally it is so easy (especially now) to only see the obstacles and annoyances/bad things in life so this is really going to be therapy for me LOL!

I am happy to announce that I gathered all my items for the album, printed off some printables from the net and Silhouette store and even started filling it up (just the title/explanation pages) and altered the front of the album ALL WITH MY STASH! YAY!

How is everyone else doing? Are you still gathering? What color scheme (if any) are you going with? Will your family/loved ones participate too?
Would a thread DAILY or WEEKLY benefit you the most? I think BOSTONSCRAPPER and myself are going to post threads to keep us going but how would you like that to happen?

@Crystal - great looking album cover, seems like you are super ready for November! I'm using items from the Persimmon line from Basic Grey.

I think it would be best to have just one thread for the entire project that everyone can chime in on. If it's a new thread every day, then in order to catch up on people's work, you'd have to go into several threads and people might miss out on things. Just my thoughts.

I'm using #mythankful30 on Instagram and am encouraging others through here and my blog to do the same. That way those that are just taking photos can participate and everyone can share their albums, supplies, and progress.

Daily sounds good for me.
I went to Michaels on Saturday and I saw a 6x6 fall paper pad that I liked. And they everything 40% off. So I picked up 2 pads and they had a bunch of embellishments on Clearance for 1.50 or so. So I picked some of them up. Was going to use my stash but I couldn't help myself. Lol.
Hopefully, I'll continue this. I am a December Daily dropout.
Can't wait to see everyone else's!

I cut out all the numbers for the days. I xyroned a sheet of pumpkin Bazzill to a sheet of chipboard and cut them out using my Big Shot.

MDscrapaholic, where in MD are you? I am a fellow MDer (transport from the south!). I love your idea! SMART!

I put all my items I want to use in an Iris box and will NOT allow myself to pull anything else except cardstock to make this project. I know me and I know if I try for awesome and embellished and mini layouts everyday it will not work! I will fail. so simple and easy! YAY!
