I plan on doing this. Hopefully I can get to Michael's or JoAnn's this week when we head into the city...because I have no fall paper at all. This will be the first time I do something like this. I'm excited!

This is a great idea. I have a mini already to go from the pieces of me class that I never filled in, and this will be perfect for it. 280daily is a great way to be prompted daily to make an entry, even if you just make the entries and transfer them to something prettier later on.

I think I will try this. I have never done a album like this before. Thanks for all the information. I am going to do a 6 x 6 album, and will try to use my stash.

So I am thinking a WEEKLY thread would be good. I think if we did ONE thread it would be too much about half way through. What do the Peas say?

I have my cover page and the journaling of why/how/what the mini is about done. All my cards are cut (doing 3X4 with a few 4X6 thrown in to mix it up) just need to print/make some lines for DD to write on. I am very excited. I NEVER EVER finish December Daily and I have never made a mini like this before so YAY for trying new things and using stash! BTW for those that asked my binder is a green SNAP binder that I picked up months back on clearance for like 3 bucks YAY!

Weekly Thread sounds good...

I got my SNAP Binder on Clearance too. I ran to the store yesterday to pick up two more. I still need to get my cards together. I do want to use stash.

Have always wanted to do this but I couldnt do a separate album at this time of year.

I'm thinking maybe I could just do a pocket page insert for my regular chronological album. My scrapbooks are about my niece and nephew so I would make each thankful thing something about them. Guess I had better start making some notes...

A weekly thread sounds good to me. I spent part of Sunday gathering my paper and embellishments, and then making my numbers for each day. I had pulled a bunch of white Thickers and mixed a couple different fonts to get all the numbers I needed. I don't think I'm going to do any more prep on the album pages other than cut down some cardstock for the base layer of the pages.

Weekly thread sounds good to me too! I like the idea of keeping everything together in an Iris case! I have pulled out some PL cards but also want to use fall papers (just need to cut them down).

I made a Gratitude Journal for my Mom for Christmast last year.

I have a pinboard that I kept secret for a while until I gave her the gift - ya'll might find some inspiration there!

I would really like to do this Thankful project too - I just need to decide if I want to put it in my PL or make it a separate book.

Okay, finally made my decision. I'm going with a 6x8 Simple Stories binder in orange and the page protectors that have 2 3x4 photos on top and one 6x4 photo on the bottom. I picked up PL Autumn mini kit last night at HL and sorted through the cards. Each day will have a filler card, a journaling card and my photo. I already put the photos in the protector, just waiting on the binder to get here. I will most likely pretty up some of the filler cards with embellishments or cuts from my Silhouette. Can't wait to get started.

Kellykreates that is an awesome idea. I was thinking of doing the same but was worried that all the pages would not fit so I scaled it back a bit. Last night I purged some of my things and put them up for sale on some FB sites and found a few more items that will work (stamps etc) so I threw them in my iris box! YAY for stashing finding and busting!

Great ideas here....
Kellykreates, I'm loving your idea. I was thinking of a Snap binder but I finally found a 6x6 and will use that. It will help me keep it simple and then go bigger for DD. Anyway, I loved your links and will be following on Pinterest soon. I can't wait to see how you hook it up. Now, tell me about these Cameo or Sil groups you belong to so I can join up?

Found this on Pinterest but it links back to Cathy Zielske's blog. She created a fill in sheet to help with keeping track of the things you wanted to be sure and include in your album. Here's the link...

I'm going to use Cathy Z's 6x6 format. I already printed it off (it was on sale for $6.29!), trimmed the pages, and have it in an American Crafts album ready to go.

I plan to use her simple pages for most days, with a few 6x6 layouts sprinkled in when inspiration hits. I don't have much at all in the way of a fall themed stash, but I'd like to use up what I do have. I figure I may add extra pages for our actual Thanksgiving Day activities instead of putting them all into PL like I usually do. Still haven't decided.

I'm hoping this doing a page everyday mindset gets me primed to actually finish my DD this year.

There is a link tool at the bottom of the post for anyone who wants to share a picture of their supplies. It works with any photo hosted on the web, no blog needed!

I just got back home from hunting fall theme paper. I settled on one from JoAnn's from DCWV. I'm not really sure I'm 100% happy with the paper line lol that sounds bad seeing as I have no back up paper to fall back on. I just hope I can make it work.

I'm doing it, but not as an album. I've cut card stock down to 3x4 and stamped them 1-30. I'm hoping to get the 4x6 title card done today.

I'm going to put the cards (with a few small photos or quotes as fillers) in 2 Design-F page protectors and add them to my Project Life album.

hmmm I wonder if they still carry them. I did find a silhouette file that I can cut and then put glossy accents on, that will work too and its free LOL!

Anyone else going to have a little "theme" or item scattered through it? Does that make sense?

Lilgik, AMAZING! I so wish I could sew! I want some confetti pockets for my album LOL! Oh well, I bought some bling paper long long time ago so that will suffice.

I have gathered more supplies since I last updated (not sure that is a good thing) but they wer eALL from my stash. I am working on getting some acorns cut/flocked etc to add a little something to the album this weekend. Let's do this!

I love the idea...and I started one a couple years ago.... but it fell by the wayside. It was going to be four double page spreads (one spread per week). I even had premade cards that everyone in the family could use to write their own gratitude and then I would just attach those to the 12x12 paper. Too much to juggle with work, family, day to day stuff, etc.

I want to do a version of this that I can handle...so here's my idea:

I will commit to including one 4x6 card into my Project Life album that lists various things I found myself being thankful for throughout the week. It may be a list, it may be one thing that I elaborate on. I want to be more mindful of my blessings...and this is my start.

I have been looking through my stash for a jar of MM paper leaves and pumpkins that I bought a couple years ago. I thought they would be cute to sprinkle through my album, but I can't find it. Hopfully that means that I used it up and just forgot lol. I might see if I still have my fall sizzlet dies and cut some leaves to use instead. And if I don't have those, I think I'll go outside and grab a couple leaves off the ground and trace those onto cardstock.

I have always wanted to do this so maybe somebody is telling me something. So I guess I will jump in too. Found a 6x6 album in my stash, wanted to do an Autumn theme, as we don't really get an autumn here, went to a few stores and everyone is sold out. Rats!! Did find one 6x6 fall pack guess that will have to do. Going to pull some embellishments and try to do the dates. Thanks for starting this.

I have a fall themed snap album that I am putting together this year. I designed my own 3x4 "thankful" cards to fit in the pockets and will have everyone fill them out at thanksgiving. I will add an indiv pic of each person to go along with their card. That's my only "thankful" project this year!

I'm also jumping in, think will use a snap album and use some of my stash up making cards. I am going to have each kid have 1 day a week where they have to list what they are grateful for.

Love hearing about everyones' project!

Lilgik, love your confetti shaker cards! Did you sew a piece of transparency to cardstock? I want to try this. Thanks!

@Marie3 - thanks, and yes, I use the plastic packaging (as long as it's not scuffed) from embellishments and sew it to cardstock.

I glue 5 or 6 sequins and then sew 3 sides. I dump the rest of the sequins in and sew the top shut. My plastic bunched in one spot on each card, so go slowly.

Love reading everyone's different approach to this project!

I'm going to use SNAP! As well. I decided to go with green because HL had them clearanced at $5. I bought some clearance fall supplies from Ms, and got a 6x6 fall themed paper pad. So far that's all I have. Not sure if I will cut the paper first or as I go.
