Hey Survivors

I'll be interested to see how Brad does on RI tonight ...

Unfortunately, oldest dd has dance tonight and I have to drive her so I won't be able to watch until the morning ... such is life

I'm very interested to. Any predictions? I'm wondering if Monika will trade places with Brad? She is the better player so it would be foolish to do so, and with his enormous ego I'm sure he'll think she doesn't have to anyway.

I predict Brad will lose tonight and I will cheer like crazy when he burns his buff. If it's a puzzle he doesn't have the brain power that John and (oh what's her name again? It's on the tip of my tongue but mymigraine brain is still in recovery mode. Well, you all know who I mean) have so he'll lose right there. If it's a balance challenge I also think he'll lose. John seems to have the body to be better at balancing than Brad does. We'll see.

17 minutes to go until showtime...

For the first time since the season started, I'm actually going to get to watch tonight. We DVR it and usually have to wait until at least Friday night or the weekend to watch it.

I also hope that Candice and John kick Brad's ass right off RI.

No, not Candice! I really wanted her to stay and I REALLY wanted to see Brad leave. To add insult to injury, Candice got to hear her whole original tribe cheering Brad on to beat her. That couldn't have felt good.

And I think Monica sounded ridiculous when she said to Candice "You really hurt my feelings." Oh please! I remember her liking her in her original season, but I'm not loving her so much this season.

I was glad to see the tribe that won immunity finally win so that the other tribe can finally go to tribal counsel, they seemed to be getting a bit cocky for their own good.

I'm not sure the way they voted was the right way to go though....

So far I guess I am in the minority because I was glad Candice went home. She's played before so she knew this was a game and yet she seemed to have a personal vendetta against Brad. Since she was not on his tribe apparently she based her hatred of him on the fact that Monica wrote her name down to be voted off at the beginning. Never mind that so did other members. I thought she had a little more class than to flip off Brad just because her husband was sent to Redemption Island. This is turning out to be an interesting season, can't wait to see what happens next.

I'm with you raysfan2 ... I'm gladcandace went home too. I wanted to like her man because he was nice, but she was attached to him. I think brad was a jerk, but I wanted hi to win just to oust Candace!

I'm very glad Colton's boyfriend didn't turn out to be so cocky as they made it look I the previews last week. Still need to watch the last 10 mins to see who gets voted out.

Delighted Candace is long gone. I found her to be nasty and had an inflated opinion of herself.

Add me to the list of people who are glad Candice is gone. I don't remember her from her original season, but I sure didn't like her this season. She was too bitter. Brad drove me nuts but tonight he seemed sincere. I suspect he and John will get along just fine without Candice there now.

Tribal wasn't all that interesting. There has been so little tv time for that tribe that I don't know much about their interactions. However, I couldn't stand Kat the first time and sure don't like her this time either. I hate the faces she continually makes.

Add me to the list of people thrilled Candace got bumped out. She was obnoxious and offensive when it's just a game, and a game she's played before. She took it too personally and got nasty and I'm glad to see her gone.

Finally got to watch

Yup, I'm glad Candice is gone ... I don't really like Brad but I have to admit that he's a good player ...

As a Big Brother fan, I just have to say that I'm so glad that Hayden is still in the game ... he gives me some great eye candy

Yeah, I was going to tell you I am sure you are NOT in the minority. But you can see that from the additional posts after yours.

I agree that Brad had potential to be a good player. He irritated me, but I don't think he's a terrible person--just way too cocky for me and made some really stupid mistakes. And I also agree that Candice is bitter. But I also thinks she's strong and feisty and there is just something I like about her. I honestly think I would be bitter to. Also running against Candice is the fact that she was chosen as a last minute replacement when RC's dad couldn't pass medical. All of the former players knew for months they were playing and they have been in touch with one another and forming alliances when Candice never got a chance to participate in. Now I know that's not Brad's fault or Monica's fault or any of the contestants, but I understand why she's salty and they just happen to be the butt of it since every person who has come to RI, including Candice's dh have told her rotten stuff about Brad.

I hope Candice's hubby goes far--I like him. I think he should stop throwing away the clue to Monica. I say give it to one of his old tribemates and see if maybe he can rebuild a relationship. After all, I think they did like him, they just got pulled into Brad's plan.

Oh, and did we talk at all about Laura B? I thought her attempts to turn Kat and others against Laura and Monica seemed really lame. I mean I gotta give her credit for trying, but it was so awkward!

Also, let's not forget about what looks like a tribe switch next week. This will certainly change things up! I for one am excited about it.

The Laura B thing was completely transparent and awkward, but I was more surprised by Laura M getting all touchy with Aras. That wasn't just a massage she was giving him, it looked a little more "friendly" than that. My husband doesn't really watch Survivor, but he saw that last night and said, "I thought they split the couples up." Anyone else find her fingering his chest and nipples a little odd?

Getting to this late...Fing Migraines.

Well, I guess I'm horrible at predictions. OR I don't know a thing about football-which is true! Before this Survivor I didn't know who Brad Culpepper was. I thought he was a dumb jock who made it big playing football. Hence my prediction that Candice and John would beat him soundly in the puzzle section of RI. I was literally shocked when Monica said he was an attorney. No wonder he beat Candice!

I'm sticking with Ginger-64 on this though. Yes, Candice has been cocky and bitchy this season, but I can't really blame her. First day there she's voted onto Redemption Island and she has ruled it. She did take John getting voted off a little too personally, but this is the first time we've had loved one's playing so it's a whole different perspective. And she didn't get to see Brad's game play at all. What she had to go on were all the people who came to RI and told her what a ass Brad was being.

Brad annoys me to no end and he has made some stupid mistakes so far as a player. Voting John off was a huge mistake. You don't vote off a member of your own alliance because it makes your entire team doubt your trust. Especially when you have two very weak girls on your team who have done nothing in challenges, and you have John who is very strong both physically and mentally. AND you've lost every challenge since the game started.

Is'nt it curious though that once Brad was gone, the loved one's tribe did win their first challenge? Of course part of that could have to do with the fact that it wasn't a physical or puzzle challenge, but it's still interesting. I was cheering for them very loudly and so happy when they won. They really needed it.

You've got a very good point Ginger about John giving the idol clue to Monica again. It was a bad decision given that she just burned it again. It would be brillant, like you suggested, if he gave it to his former alliance members because if he did, he'd be back in like a flash. Especially with Brad on the outs. And we know he probably has less chance of winning against Laura M. in puzzle challenges. She seems to rule those. That's why that tribe voted her out. They want Brad gone.

Yes, it is sad seeing Laura B playing and being so horrible at lying or acting. She can't fool anyone and she knows it.

I thought the Merge was happening next week, but I'm glad to hear it's only a team mix-up. I suppose they have to do this with the teams being so un-even, but I wish they wouldn't. I also wish they wouldn't spoil it in the previews. Although that one season they were down to one team only having two players on it weren't they-when it was down to Malcolm and the lady that won (I can't remember her name).
