|Posted: 10/27/2013 8:35:11 PM|As many of you know I am frozen for another 9 months. Yes...NINE months (which will make a year). And I am going strong. I have over 80 days in the freezer and I am feeling just fine.
This weekend. I dug into my stash and got my SCRAPPIN' ON!!!! My goal was 15 layouts. I almost made that goal, I got 13 LOs completed all from what I had on hand.
I am so excited that I am finally at a place of contentment and peace with using what I have and not make unnecessary purchases just because it's pretty and new and trendy (that was my MO). When my year of being frozen has come to an end, I know I will be in a different mindset when it comes to purchasing product and that will be my reward (that and the new kitchen and bathrooms we are working towards LOL!!)
Here are few of my favs this weekend:

ENJOYING THE THEATRE
MY CKU MOMENTS

JESUS Is The Reason For the Season.
2013 - Layouts Completed - 203

2013 - Cards 84 - (thanks to CTMH monthly club class and a few swaps)
|Posted: 10/27/2013 8:41:21 PM|Your layouts came out great! And good for you for sticking to your goal. It has to feel so satisfying to see your stash dwindling and actually be putting those beautiful supplies you bought to use.
|Posted: 10/27/2013 8:43:15 PM| Congrats ...that is awesome...and the pages are all so different and creative! I love your stash
|Posted: 10/27/2013 8:46:57 PM|Love your layouts. You are such an inspiration for being frozen. I have enjoyed reading the frozen peas thread and following your journey. I'm inspired to stay frozen through the end of the year and have been getting quite a bit of scrapping done lately with what I have.

I scrapped from my stash this weekend, too - but you got a lot more done than I did! It felt great for me to pull out some stuff that I forgot all about and use it to make some pages I love!

I need to keep reminding myself that years from now, NO ONE will know whether or not I used old or new stash. It's capturing the memories that count. And, you do that beautifully!
Keep up the great work. You are an inspiration to many of us!

I'm proud of you for being frozen. Honestly, I use to shop with reckless abandon, never paid attention, bought what I wanted, just went full tilt. The last few months I've really cut way back, like probably 95% less than what I used to spend and I love it. When I scrap I use things up and it feels good to see money that has been spent going to use. Nothing feels as good as throwing packaging out.
Way to go, keep posting your awesome work, it's inspirational for me too!
People may not remember what you said or did, but they will always remember how you made them feel.

I scrapped my stash too this weekend and used 2 2-page layout kits that I have probably had for 8 or 9 years. I also used up most of the Carta Bella pages that I created at the 2012 Scrapfest class I took. I felt pretty proud of myself!

TFS! I've gone through my stash and am surprised at the amount of papers and, especially, scraps that I have that need to be used up. I've organized all my papers - but I'm in a quandrary with the scraps. Your LOs are so inspiring! Kudos on your freeze, too - NINE months! Wow, I don't know if I could survive that long without making any scrap purchases. LOL! You go, Girl!

Gorgeous ... and I must say ... that you should not feel like you are compromising at all! I just *now*, during the sale, finally got around to ordering a bunch of MME Collectable Line. I always loved it, and got a couple sheets in with my kits, but I kept getting other lines. Meanwhile so much time had passed that I didn't think there would be much left. So when 2Ps had this sale, I checked to see if there was plenty left -- Yes, there was! So I am currently waiting for that order to arrive! So even though you may have it for a while, it's still new to others this far after the line came out! I can't wait -- it's gorgeous paper and it will go with so many things for all seasons! So I guess pretty paper just never really goes out of style -- we are just distracted by the new stuff -- LOL!
Also, I have been considering doing what you are doing. I am swamped in scrappy goodness and you have been such an inspiration! So ... just wanted to say I really admire your determination to reach your goal. Thanks for sharing your journey. I'm sure many of us would be happy to be able to have your resolve.
