There was a thread this Summer about a DIY emboss gold dots on vellum since the Dear Lizzy paper is gone.

Anyone have a link to that?

I'm wondering how to get the polka dots in nice rows. And what would I use to stamp the circles? Maybe the end of a dowel or craft foam.

Will vellum wrinkle up with the heat? I don't want to do too many tests. It's kinda a pricey supply.

Now that I'm here, I have nothing clever to say!

I tried this, I used a round foam piece to stamp the ink on the vellum. I placed my vellum over a piece of polka dot paper to evenly place my circles.
The vellum did not wrinkle too much when heat embossed, but the embossed dots fell off the paper when I cut the paper with scissors, my trimmer or dies.

That's a good idea to use a template or pattern. ok. That solves a big one.

I remember sanding vellum to get ink to stick. I wonder if I can sand a smidge in the center of the circles to get it to adhere better.

Thank you!
