I still use mine on occasion. I did get rid of a bunch of punches that I felt I could just cut out with my cricut. All the little cutsie punches. I did keep my border punches and basic shapes.

I just made 20 gift tags all with punches: large tag, 2 size circles, 2 size scallop circles, border punch, and a snowflake. Then I used scraps. No way would I get rid of my punches.

I've paired down on a lot of punch but I've kept all of my tab punches (love those) and my Martha steward punch-around-the-page punches. oh, and also my corner rounders.

I use my punches from time to time even though I have 2 die cut machines. It's faster & easier!

I am one of those weird people that don't own a cutting machine. I love, love, my punches!!
LOL, then I guess I am one of those weird people, too.
No cutting machine here either.
So I do use my punches, but it sounds like a lot of people do whether they have a machine or not.
I actually don't have a huge punch stash. Just a few basic shapes.
But I do have several border punches that I love.

A couple of weeks ago I did a big studio redo. I thought about getting rid of my punches. I even packed them away. That lasted two days. My punches were back out again.
I did get rid of a couple but the ones I have are my favorites. I use them for everything even if I have my Cameo or Cricut going for the same project.
Punches are great for those materials you don't want to cut on your die cutters. Example- Loose glitter paper or mixed media creations.
I have a Marvy Uchida scallop punch. That thing is huge. I was telling some of my friends one day that I love that punch so much. They were like "Get rid of it and get Nestabilities instead!" I said I had the Nestabilities but I love my punch. They kept trying to tell me I was making a mistake having a punch that huge in my stash. I thought to myself I rather get rid of my scissors before I gave away that punch. I would be lost without it I use it so much.

Yes. So easy to grab a punch when I need to do something quickly. And I'm kind of addicted to my border punchs.

It's a big production for me to get out my cutter, so I only do it when I have a lot of shapes or several words. I use basic square, circle, and chevron punches quite a bit, plus one border punch.

I have several die cutting machines.
I'm keeping my punches!! They are so easy to use if you need something quick. I like I can use up my smaller scrap paper with them.
My GD also loves using them for her projects!
I keep adding to my collection of paper punches.
