At this point I don't feel comfortable ordering anything else online with the off chance it doesn't get delivered on time. I have that kind of luck. So it's all shopping.

I have my 2 kids purchased for, and the sister and her kids that had to be shipped.

That's it.

I still need to get DH, my sister and BIL, my MIL, stepmother, and four other relatives that we will have here on Christmas day to buy for.

Trying not to panic. Was going to get it ALL done today once kids got to school but DS came in from the bus stop so he's home sick today. There go those plans, UGH!

The rest of the week is pretty insane during the day. I hate to drive at night in the winter so that's out. I am hoping Wed opens up so I can go then.

I had to wait until now because we had some super bills that unexpectedly came in that sucked up all my Christmas money. NOT pleased. So I had to wait until this week for some extra money. Today was the day. Ugh.

DD is still annoyed I said NO to her North Face jacket request. A $200 polar fleece sweater was/is NOT in the budget, sorry!! I could have led her on but I didn't want her being disappointed Christmas morning. I figure get all the bitter disappointment out now, right? LOL. Oh that makes me feel bad though.

Anyone else kind of trying NOT to freak out about how much left they have to do?

It's football time in TENNESSEE!

I've purchased one gift, for my youngest. My husband is putting together wine baskets for friends this week. I'll start ordering today or tomorrow LOL...This is the closest we've cut it as well but we've just been so damn busy....Ugh - it's frustrating....

Thank God as of yesterday I'm done. I've been your shoes before, and it stinks.

That said, be prepared to get 47 responses saying, "Nope, I'm all done! In fact, I have been since (Labor Day, Halloween, Thanksgiving)..."

I only answered to let you know not everyone finishes months in advance. I did most of my shopping this week.

All I have left to buy are gift cards and stocking stuffers. I've been watching Amazon for a few new Monster High dolls to go down in price. If they don't I'm not worried about it. I can always order them after Christmas. My daughters have enough. We've been debating about an Ipod Touch too. Decisions, decisions. lol

I'm not. I'm travelling and I'll do all of my shopping for those friends and family when I get there. I have no desire to transport it all. I have a good idea of what I want to do, though I may change my mind on a few things.

Lol. Not me. Every year I *say* I'm going to be done by Labor Day/Halloween/whenever... but I never am.

I've done some, thanks to Amazon Prime, but I still have some things to go out and get that I can't order online -- alcohol, specific clothing sizes that may or may not fit so I need to get them from a local store, etc. Not to mention the tree, and some stocking gifts. oy

Oh and let's not talk about wrapping!

I have a couple more things that are on the way. They can be Christmas gifts if they arrive in time, or, if not, they can be for his birthday in January. I'm good either way.

I also need to get out and buy some stocking stuffers. I usually get those plastic candy canes with M&Ms and such in them and some other goofy stuff from the dollar store. DS loves his stocking more than actual gifts, I think!

I also need to pick up a couple more rolls of wrapping paper.

Now, decorating, that's the thing I'm dreading this year. OY! I have a few things out, but no tree or lights up at all.

I am starting to panic. My 15 year old daughter refuses to tell me what she wants to be surprised. My 12 year old and my 9 year old DS lists consists of $300+ items.

Hello, is this thing on?

I'm mostly done with shopping, just one more thing to get DH. But I still need to finish the homemade gifts, and do baking, and ship boxes. And I am still waiting on things to arrive.

It'll all get done, and if it doesn't, oh well, the world wont end.

I don't even know how far behind I am because I'm completely disorganized. this is a crazy week because I have to move my office at work, we're getting another snow storm tomorrow, I have baking to do for an office party, a huge shopping order at BJs and a really early morning breakfast volunteer event. And I haven't sent out one Christmas card yet or wrapped a single thing (not that I've written our cards or bought most of my gifts either!)!!

Amazon Prime had been a lifesaver for me this year. Everything is delivered within 48 hours. You can get a one month free trial and just cancel the free trial once you finish Christmas shopping.

I finished purchasing late last night...with 3 online orders placed yesterday that will hopefully be here on time.

I mailed 2 of my out of town packages and have 3 still to mail. (2 were ready on the table this morning and I totally forgot them.)

I also totally missed the boat on Christmas cards this year. Maybe I'll do New Year's ones.

I'll be doing quite a bit of mine tomorrow. I'm normally closer to being finished by this time, but bad weather and sick kids several weekends in a row has really thrown me off schedule.

I am very far behind too, so don't feel bad. I have been in a blah mood this year and not feeling much Christmas spirit so it has been hard to motivate myself to get things done. I do plan to get some things accomplished this afternoon. Hopefully I will be able to make some progress.

I don't have any stocking stuffers for my girls. That one I'm not in a panic about because it *should* be relatively simple.

I am in a panic about the fact that I have not one single thing for DH. Worse, I don't even have any good ideas and the man won't tell me anything he wants!

I am 90% done with shopping, a couple more things for hubby (I know what to get just a matter of ditching him to go and buy them) and a GC and a movie for my youngest to finish up his gifts. I am going to get all the wrapping done today and I think I will feel pretty prepared for the 25th.

Well, I just now placed my order on Shutterfly for a photo book to be shipped to my parents. I had to pay for expedited delivery, but it was only an extra dollar !

Two days ago, my adult son (very darling) told me that all he wanted was 3 different kinds of cookies and candy - this was after I have gotten his present. And, he lives 2,000 miles away so all of this needs to be shipped. Darn it, last thing I was planning on doing was making this stuff (which has a very good chance of not turning out ) at the last minute. So there's that ! (my breaking bad reference - no spoilers pls as I am on Season 3) Which has cut deeply into my Christmas preparations, but loving it !

I have the biggest part of my shopping finished, still waiting for several (main) items to arrive. Looks like all orders will (hopefully) be here by the 18th. I have one big gift bag for each adult and grandchild, will top with tissue paper. Stopped doing Christmas cards several years ago. Have a few gift cards on hand, in case I need to "even up" or and unexpected situation arises.

I will be buying food this week. We will be celebrating Christmas on the 21st with the kids, grandkids and parents.

Is this an instrument of torture or communication?

Everything else is done... Packages for family will go to UPS today.

I was doing really well until the USPS lost the package with my dh's present in it. And the stupid vendor "forgot" to put insurance on it and is refusing to pay up. I'm out the money and I've got no present for him and he's impossible to buy for because he only wants what he wants and what he wants is hard to find. So right now, he's got bupkis.

About 80% done..Still need Dad, FIL, 2 Nieces, couple gift for uncle & girlfriend. I also need a few stocking stuffers. DH and I plan to knock this out today.

Oh and the Santa gifts for two of my kids. Usually this gift is the BIG ONE from their lists but they really didn't have any big requests. In fact my 10 year old wrote "stuff" every 2nd line. UGH.

I bought most of my big ticket items as per the kids lists, I just need stocking stuffers and to set aside time for gift wrapping. I haven't bought anything for anyone asides from our immediate family due to lack of funds this year, Hopefully I'll be able to brave the crowds next week and get a little something for parents and sis.

I'm nowhere near done. I bought most of the stuff that has to ship out, and I hope to get it all wrapped and pack today and tomorrow.

I haven't bought anything for my kids yet. Just a couple stocking stuffers. I guess a trip to the mall is in order this week.

I am panicking a little about my oldest son, as he only produced a list last week, and half of it requires him to come shopping with me he hates that! But I think he would hate my choice of football boots, jeans and shirts more!

I am sure it will all, come together for you- who ever heard of anyone not getting it all done for Christmas ? Mum just ends up close to a nervous breakdown achieving it

I have one more gift to buy for DGS. It's just a matter of deciding and ordering it from Amazon Prime.

BUT........I have a TON of stuff left to do.

Nothing is wrapped.
I still have to make and package the biscotti for the gift bags. (25 of them!!!).
I need to mail 8 of the gift bags to family in PA once the biscotti is done.
I have to buy all the stuff to make cookies and host the gathering on Saturday.
All grands gifts must be wrapped by Saturday as they take them home with them to open on Christmas morning.
Die cut the crafts for DD8's holiday party at school on Thursday
Package up the Snowman Poop for said party.
Send money for one kid's teacher gift.
Decide what to pack, iron and pack for our cruise (Dec 30)
Clean house and make notebook for niece keeping kids while on cruise
Pack my entire office for a carpet replacement Tues and Weds. GREAT timing there!!!

Oh and DD13 BROKE HER FINGER in PE Friday, so we have to see the ortho Dr today that urgent care referred us to. JUST what I needed.

So no sanctamonious "Oh, I'm ALL done!" from me either.

I'm pretty far behind - have no clue what to get my parents, haven't gotten dh anything other than stocking stuufers, have to buy and ship my sisters gift and can't think of what to get my 24 yr old dd.

I'm not panicking though, I tend to work better under pressure so I know I'll get it all done.

Done with the shopping and the majority of the shipping too. I do need to get to the PO later today or tomorrow for the last few items, though.

Beyond that, it's all in the hands of either USPS and/or UPS... some of the items I purchased online are still in the process of being shipped.

Still have to get something for DH. No idea what. Thats a bit of a worry. We also do stocking stuff, so while I've got the kids completed, I have NO idea what to do for DH for that either. I'm still concerned whether to get something else for DD #1 also...I'm making some Christmas presents for friends and have only just started them (its a process).

Then theres all the baking stuff, and new friends who don't eat sugar (which I totally get) but I don't have ANY idea what to make for them either when they come over, since its holidays season and mostly sweet stuff. Thinking we may do some Paleo recipes

I am at the point of all I really care about is my kids! I started late, weather put me further behind and my goal this week is to get everything done for them. I do have some family members finished or partly finished but for me it is all about my kids (for Christmas) so I never feel finished until they are complete. I have youngest good to go, middle ds, 50% of it here-25% of it ordered and hope it arrives this week and I need to work on his stocking. Oldest ds I am seriously lacking for. He is super hard to buy for. I have started but his just looks different than the other kids. I need to get creative for him. I do have a few things. For myself writing it down is key. I have to visually see what I have and that helps me make a game plan. I do want to get out of town families Christmas in the mail in the next day or two. It won't be until Wednesday though. Hopefully it all makes it in time.

Friday I started to panic but I think I have most of them done as of an hour ago. DH will pick up a couple of gift cards for his dad and uncle and then I have a ton of handmade things to do - I should be more panicked about those. I normally do not put things off this long but well sometimes life happens.

I ordered a lot of things from Amazon this year and used Amazon Prime - you can get a free 30 day trial (just be sure to cancel it if you don't want to pay for it). I love it as so many things were things that were heavy and bulky but had free Prime Shipping - they were delivered right to my door in two days. It was awesome.

I also didn't decorate much this year and the there were no cards sent out. We normally go all out decorating and send out photo cards - nope not happening this year.

I just need to get my butt in gear and finish the homemade items. I really thought I would be done by now and my project list keeps getting longer and longer - seriously urg.

Good luck I hope you find what you need quickly. We went shopping this weekend and got almost everything and I went out to a few stores today and picked up the rest.

Oh and since you can't go out today I would make today a planning day. Figure out what you will buy and where you will get it. Can your DH help with any if the shopping (not his gift obviously)?

I lucked out and DH came home early from work so I was able to head out for a few hours. I got almost everything I needed except for 2 that I forgot that I will have DH do (his family, nephews I have no idea and will get gift cards if he can't come up with anything) and finish DH. Ok GET DH - although I usually get him a gift card to the hunting shop and then something else so really I'm half done with that since I already know what I am getting, I just have to pick it up. And come up with some THING/THINGS for him to open as well.

Now I just have to Wrap. OY. I'm pretty sure I have no tags so will have to do those and will have to run out for more wrap and tape but I refuse to leave the house again today, will see if I can get all of this wrap used up before I get more. Kind of a goal since I seem to just buy and buy it. Maybe I will be amazed and not have to leave to get any. That WOULD be amazing.

I guess I scared myself into getting things done. On a little note, did you know they have HOLLISTER clothes at Marshalls? That helped a LOT - they also had NorthFace jackets unfortunately not the style or size I needed to get. So close!!!

Know what you mean re: ordering online.
I'm ticked that my ArtsCow order isn't here and I ordered that before the end of November.

I'm going to use a template, cut out gift card wrappers from pretty Xmas paper, and finish everyone else on my list.

I'm done. I've distributed all my gifts to my friends at work except 2 (haven't been able to take them but will do so tomorrow.) I have 1 bottle of wine to buy for Christmas presents for home, and 1 that my sister is going take to the post office for me.

The reason I was so good this year was because I'm having surgery in 2 days and wanted to finish everything on time. The downside to this is that I had lots of doubts about the things I bought. Luckily, everyone has loved their stuff.

Good luck to everyone on buying your gifts.

ETA: There are some outfits that will still guarantee delivery, for example, Jo Malone, Zappos, Amazon.

I'm pretty stressed out. No one in my family has made much of a list and I've been trying to pull ideas out of them for weeks. Now that they've come up with a few items, I've run out of time to shop sales.

The two oldest DSs just want video games and I hate it. I'm glad I can still buy toys and stuff for our little guy.

I have to fly to the east coast on Thursday and come back Saturday, which is adding to my stress. The fact that my inlaws will be here when I come back has me feeling completely overwhelmed. They refuse to go shopping or do anything on Sunday, but we can't leave them home because my MIL snoops through our bedroom and paperwork if given the chance.

I try to be a positive, upbeat person, but I'm at my limit and so overwhelmed.

We don't buy much so I'm ok there but I got sick a week ago and before that dh decided to install speakers so I didn't get the tree up before I got sick, so I still have to clean the house, put up the tree, package all of the little gifts I decided to do such as the tea that I bought in bulk needs to be packed in little paper house shaped boxes that I still need to print and cut out, I am baking some ornaments as we speak but I have to paint and mail them to grandmas and aunties. I just sent out most of my x Christmas cards but didn't do the international ones because of the line at the post office. I still have to decorate the gingerbread house I bought. And finish crocheting some cookie shaped ornaments for a cookie baking party on the 21st. We also haven't gone to see Santa yet, plus I wanted to go to sea world, Legoland and the zoo, my birthday is this week and relatives are coming into town. ACK! Seeing this written out makes it look bad, plus I have to wrap stuff!

I still have most of my shopping to do. No money until Friday. I'll go out then. We never use credit cards so we only pay with cash. Not really caring about Christmas this year. Finally DS when out to the garage and got the Christmas tree today. It still isn't up. Maybe tomorrow. The decorations are out in the garage and it's about 3 degrees out there. Too cold to want to root thru.
