Is a rib eye roast (with bones) the same as a prime rib roast. Not prime/choice USDA qualifiers, but in I would cook it the same way. Local butcher said its the same, but I looked on the internet and several sites said they would cook them differently. I don't cook red meat a lot. Well really once a year, and this year I am buying the roast, instead of my parents bringing it over.

So, help!

Awesome! Thank you, I know nothing about cooking red meat other than following a simple Prime Rib recipe.
