We are celebrating Christmas with some family members on Dec 29th. Since it is several days later, I'm not making full-blown Christmas dinner all over again. I am thinking about making lasagna. The obvious and perfect side dishes are of course salad and garlic bread, but I guess because it really is a Christmas dinner even tho it's late, I feel the need to have more dishes to serve with it!! What else could I serve?

How about fresh green beans sautéed with pancetta and onion? A fresh fruit salad would be nice.

I'm serving lasagna for Christmas with just salad and garlic bread. Christmas cookies for dessert. But I do like Kathy's suggestion. You can never go wrong with a fruit tray too.

We have lasagne and a chicken casserole every year for Christmas Eve. It's quick and easy and we can get to the fun faster. We do bread, salad, and apps. It's plenty of food and clean up is fast.
