I just got mine, it's great! Very easy to set up. I got the wireless model (which you can use with a USB connection if you prefer) and it's good to note that it did not come with cables. So you'll want to make sure you have a USB printer cable if that is how you want to use it. It only came with enough ink and paper for 5 prints so you'll definitely want to grab a package of that too.

It is about $33.00 or so and it is enough to print out 108 pictures. I bought it on Amazon too. Canon runs specials on their website from time to time offering the Selphy at $15.00, if you buy 3 packages of the KP108 packs. My 15 year old DD likes the Selphy so much that she is getting one for Christmas too.
I use my Selphy to print pictures from my IPhone wirelessly. You need to download the App if you would like to do that. The Selphy only comes with enough to print out about 3 pictures, so make sure that you but a paper and ink cassette pack to go with it.
Enjoy your Selphy.

If you do not have a computer with Windows 8 you can ignore my comment.
If your computer has Windows 8. You won't be able to print from it with a cable unless you want to find the work around online. There is no driver or support for the Selpy and Windows 8. Canon didn't make one and isn't planning one. You'll only be able to print wirelessly from your mobile devices.
My signatures are turned off,
so I have nothing cute to say.

I got one recently and I cannot get my Samsung S3 to connect wirelessly with it nor can I get it to connect to my wifi in infrastructure mode. Bit of a waste of money especially as I only bought it to upgrade from the cp720.

I would suggest cartridge/print refills.
We have a tech store called Fry's Electronics and they match Amazon prices, as does Best Buy now.
