Hi Michelle (littlemeesy) - Did you have a nice weekend? Do anything fun for Valentine's Day? It's a little warmer here today - may go above freezing for the first time in 76 days (I think that's the record we are at right now). I think it's just teasing us before the big 12 inch snowstorm we are supposed to get tomorrow. It never ends!!

So - what have you been buying? I always like to look at other people's purchases so I don't miss out on something I really NEED to have!! I'm jealous you get to scrap girly stuff.... although I sneak my nieces in as much as possible so I can use pink.

I agree with you on PL. I have a hard enough time getting my pages done let alone something I have to keep up with weekly. I did buy one small boy kit though and I just try to use the cards on my 12x12 pages. Do you use any divided pages in your albums or strictly paper pages?

Easter dinner sounds yummy! Do you host it every year? I had an egg hunt a few years ago and everyone had a great time. Last year it was way too cold and snowy. I'm hoping with Easter being late this year maybe I can do one again. Do you host yours or does your town have one?

I hope you have a great rest of the week. If you have purchased anything on your list let me know so I can cross it off. Talk soon ~ your sis

EggsforAJ,

I did have a really nice V-day thanks for asking. Went out with my DH to dinner, but not alone...DS was with us. However, it's only going to be another year or two and he'll be out with his own sweetheart, so I'm happy he was with us.

We got a LOT of snow and ice here, I can handle a little bit of that kind of weather, it was pretty to look at the 2 days we were snowed in. I like it warm too, I'm guessing you are warmer than SC! It's 70 here today so I love that!

I never felt the earthquake, but lots of people I know did! I don't know what I was doing, maybe I thought it was a loud truck going by or something. I used to live in California so I know what they feel like. I think this one was just too small to recognize as far out as we were from the epicenter.

Hope you are having a great week, look forward to hearing from you again.

I had a great Valentine's Day. I took my husband to see Jeff Dunham that evening as his gift and he gave me tickets to the Cirque Du Soleil Michael Jackson Immortal tour coming in April-3rd row seats. (I'm a little spoiled)
The rest of the weekend was spent w/ some of our family visiting from out of town.
The weather has gotten better here but that can change in an instant. Arkansas weather is rather crazy. One day we need a coat and the next day you could be wearing your shorts and flip flops. I'm just counting down til spring break. FLORIDA is calling my name.

Hope all is well with you. Crazy busy around here as always.

We are camping at Fort Pickens-Gulf Islands National Seashore. My best friend and I take our kids and leave the husbands at home. I've got a few extra teenagers going with me this year. I'm sure it will make for an interesting trip.
We lounge on the beach all day. Grill fresh seafood and let the kids chase ghost crabs at night. Lots of good family fun and memories-which makes for some good scrapbooking.

Easter Fun,
GNO sounds like loads of fun!! I haven't seen that movie yet, so keep me posted on how it turns out. I had a girl's night out with one of my friends the other night, we went to McAllister's Deli for sandwiches and salads. I am like you, can't handle those cut-em-up movies. I like romantic chick flicks, and true stories. The last movie I saw was Saving Mr. Banks. Since Mary Poppins is one of my favorite Disney movies, I absolutely LOVED watching this story about the making of Mary Poppins.
Hope you have had a great week. My week at work has been busy, but I like that over being too slow. As a school counselor I have to work with a lot of kids and different issues, so some days are more emotional than others.
Well, better sign off for now,
Talk soon,
Shannon W.

Hi HoppyEaster,

The weather here is still pretty wintery. We had a few clear days, but more snow earlier this week, and today was a mixed bag of rain, snow, sleet...even some thundersnow! Pretty over winter at this point, but I guess we have no choice but to persevere. Spring will get here eventually

I don't have any specific stamps in mind. Words and phrases that go with everyday happenings would be cool. Travel themed ones would be cool too. We are headed to NYC for a week this summer. Pretty excited about that!

Hope your week is going well. I have a long weekend to catch up on some neglected household duties

Princess bunny,
So glad the weather is easing up. Today I actually was sweating. Yuck. It went from winter to summer in less than a week. We really don't get a spring.
I feel the same way with my shopping so far. So much fun.
What do you do? SAHM or work? Kids? Where do you shop for scrappy goodness?

HI Shari S-
How have you been??
I have been very busy! My house is a total mess, hubby is sick and we are in the midst of a NASTY blizzard with Thunder snow!! Yay!! LOTS OF FUN HERE!! I am doing a lot of organizing and cleaning out as well as I need to paint my living room , which I hate to do as I have a split level and it is sooo hard to paint the entryway as it is high and hard to get at. I last painted it 10 years ago!! Yay, you heard me right....10 years!!! I am ready to get rid of the green!! am going with gray, yellow and a tiffany like blue. The walls will be a light gray and the other two colors will be accents. I am a great DIY-er so I have a lot of ideas already for lamps and such.I also am into little touches of gold lately. I have a lot to do. I also need to paint all the doors and the trim white... not getting done till spring or summer... as well as lay some laminate flooring and rip up my ugly cream carpet. I also am looking for some new dark gray furniture. uugghhh!!! It all seems so overwhelming right now but exciting too!! Hubby is not as happy as me though!!!
What have you been up to lately??
I have done a little shopping for you as well !!I am still waiting for the new Tim stuff to arrive at the LSS.
Well I am gonna head off to bed as I am of tomorrow and I want to get up early and start to clean and organize !!
Talk to you later friend!!

Hi SS4LabDiana
I can't wait to see what you are so excited about
The weather warmed up the other day, but only for a bit, we even hit 40, but than came the sleet, snow, and rain. Now the front if my house is a frozen lake. It is a mess, today we aRe getting very high winds, just saw it snowing, very dangerous. I am about to go and buy a ton of salt. I tried to chip at the snow and ice to clear the sewer to get the water flowing in the street, I only came away with sore arms.
Wyoming, MI is west of me, according to map quest about 145 miles from where I live.
I plan to work, reorganizing my play space in the basement, I hope to be able to invite fellow scrapers over for scrap nights. Bring a snack, your stuff, and scrap, or craft, you don't have to buy anything.
Well I better run to the store, before someone slips on the ice.
Take care,

Hi Shannon,
Boy, was that movie heavy. By the previews it looked funny, NOT. It was about the most dysfunctional family ever, all we could all say was Wow. It makes you think, by how it ended. You get to decide in your own mind how everyone turned out. It was well acted, I could see some oscar nominations.
Next movie I hope to see is Winter's Tale, looks good, Sci fi chick flick.
We have been so busy at work lately, we are three people down and having to rotate who stay late, these 12-14 hour shift are starting to get to everybody. Call ins are starting, too tired and getting sick. Can't wait till we get some new hires.
I have to work this weekend, so I am off today, hope to get some house work done today and maybe a little crafting too.
Have a great day, oh by the way something came in the mail yesterday for you.

Easter Fun,
From the previews I thought the movie was a comedy too. Guess I will save my money on that one. I do want to see Winter's Tale though. It looks really great. Sorry you have been having to work long hours. That can really take a toll on you. Hope you are able to stay well and get some rest when you are off work.
Good hearing from you,
Shannon

Lacey,
Hope your week has been going well. I happened to find myself at a couple of craft stores last night and found the cutest little things for your Easter basket!! I even had to do the "buy one for her and one for me" shopping technique on a couple of the items that I found. One item I have never tried, but it looked rather useful so I got one for both of us!! I was wondering if you used glitter or heat embossing?
Hope to hear from you soon,
Lops

Hi Lops! Yay! I am so excited to see my goodies. I've got a while though huh? This week has gone so fast! Which is good. We have had sunshine today which makes me feel so much better. Lastnight we had strong storms. It was strange to have storms in February but it melted the snow Yes I use glitter. Ive not done much heat embossing because I don't really stamp anymore but if you have ideas as to how to incorporate it into scrappin I'm game

Thanks so much!

Hoppy Hello to you Kelli!!
Congrats on the Canadian men's team winning yesterday at hockey! Good luck for the Gold! Do you have plans to watch the game?
Anything else that you are eyeing right now, that you'd like, scrappy wise? What scrapbooking magazine do you read? I know the CHA stuff is now hitting the stores. I've been loving what I've been seeing! I placed an order for some of the new Prima and Graphic 45 stuff. Can't wait till it gets here.
How's the weather? We had a nice week but it's cold again and we're getting more snow. I need to go somewhere tropical!
Well you have a great weekend. We will chat soon!

Hi Jeannie,

Hope you are having a nice weekend. Our weather seems to have calmed down at least for a few days. It's been cold, but otherwise pleasant since Friday. Really, really looking forward to some warmer temperatures showing up soon.

Had our last busy weekend for February. We've had something going on every weekend this month: daddy/daughter dance for the youngest, dance competition for the oldest, and yesterday was Battle of the Books for the youngest. We get a break next weekend, and then back at it the following weekend for another dance competition. Love it all, but it is exhausting at the same time.

Trying to get myself motivated to do a little scrapping here and there. I did do a little shopping, so I'll be starting on your package as soon as the order arrives. So much fun stuff available. I have a pretty big stash, so I haven't been shopping in a long while. I had the best time

Whew, I think this is finally working again! Two peas apparently didn't want me talking to you, lol. It wouldn't show my posts to you. But I think the kinks are out.

Anyway, how's it going? Everything here is crazy! The weather has been real nice, but can you believe they are calling for snow again? Seriously, haven't we had enough already! I guess the good thing about more cold weather, any chocolate that I send you won't melt !

Hi my ss hope your week is going great!!
I looked at your wish list it is amazing we have a lot in common on our scrap supplies.
I wanted to ask do you like the new scrap daily snippets stuff ?its like simple stories where it's not a big page scrapped but very small pockets on one album insert style of scrapping ? They have some very cute stuff. Is there any themes or events you scrap a lot and would like some new and different stuff for??

Ok I hope that is more clear than mudd lol
Please share any ideas for goodies you would love

Hello Mrs cottontail...
I've not seen the snippets you are talking about. I will research it I'm really into washi tapes and glitter tapes and ribbons. I've been using my cricut a lot so I don't use many ABC stickers. I tried PL type scrapping and I just didn't care for it. I love all the creativity with traditional 12x12 scrapping. I use a lot of rhinestones, gems, enamel dots, ribbon, and washi tapes to help embellish pictures. I have the creative memories cutting system and would love the jumbo circle although with them going out of business they are hard to find and when you do sooooo expensive. I'd like a new border punch. I have ek success sand bucket, ABC, and swiss cheese....I scrap all holidays, birthdays, and firsts...my son isn't into sports. We are going to the beach for spring break so some beach or tropical embellies would be used I'm not good at having someone focus on me...this is fun!

Peep-ette~!

Hi! How are you??? Doing good here, been busy with life..seems like the days are just passing by...gotta slow down a bit.

I did see your avatar...I just happened to be on my Ipad when Jeanette asked me about that and sometimes the avatar's don't show when I'm on the ipad. When I was on the desktop and double checked I realized, "oh yeah, I did see that" lol. I'm telling you....just too busy.

your answers...

****What project are you working on now? Family album? Layouts? PL?
Wow...A little bit of everything, I don't really do project life, YET! I'm working on getting all my stuff organized into "mini-like" albums. Each of my girls have different activities they did while growing up so looking at getting those pics in place. Cheer, Karate, Soccer, school proms/winter formals. I'm actually looking at putting each in their own book, 8x8, 6x8, etc.

****What colors do you like to scrap with?
I really don't care for bright colors. I tend to gravitate towards muted, vintage colors/themes.

****Do you own a Cameo/Cricut? If Cricut, any particular carts you would like and don't currently have?
I do own a Cricut but I honestly only have one cartridge...it's a basic alpha and shapes one, "Doodletype". I wouldn't know where to begin at suggesting another....maybe something with basic letters??

****What are your favorite sweet treats? And yes I will spare you PEEPS lol!
Sweet treats? Ummmm the whole sweet aisle! Is that a choice??? LOL! Trying to stay away from too many sweets right now, they are in moderation as I got back on Weight Watchers and joined the gym at the beginning of the year. Trying to make a big change this year!

Have a great day, nice to hear from you~

Hi my BouncyBunny!!
I got to crops quite frequently and have some of my girlfriends come to my place to scrap too. I have a weekend crop (local) in two weeks, another in April (2 hours away) and one of my good friends owns a local SS and she and I are now planning on going out of province to a crop. Don't know where yet, but with her inside knowledge, she'll find a goodie! Quite excited about it. I've been working on twinchie's for April's swap. Plus I'm altering a couple of items and working on a heritage album. I'm glad you got to go to a crop yesterday, FUN!!

I have a KOBO e-reader. It's Canadian, a lot like the Kindle Fire. I love it. I have about 20 books on it now that I have yet to read lol I usually read 1-2 books a week, but since Xmas, I haven't read at all. Need to get back into it.

Hope you have a great week! And your weather is better! Ours took a nose dive again and we're back at -40! So not the norm!

So, do you have a wishlist here on 2P's that I could go through? I do not have any questions for you right now, but that will probably change soon, LOL. Hope your weather has gotten better. Talk to you soon,

Hi Littlebunnyfoofoo!
Sitting at dance for my daughter. I'm here 5-6 days a week. It gets crazy. No spring break for us, too many snow days. But we do get Friday off and we always go to the beach for the day. It's a fun family tradition. Hope you have a great week

Hi Meleah,
Hope you are having a good week so far. I have a little guy still at home starting Kindergarten in August too. He has so much energy he needs it!
Do you have any new items for your list? I'm itching to shop! I have some things in my cart already. I'm kind of glad Easter is so late this year. It was way too early last year and with the winter we have had, it wouldn't be fun too early.
Have a happy hump day (love that camel: even if it's getting old)
