I saw a picture on instagram the other day of the new HS stuff from Michaels, and it looked like there was an ink pad. So of course, I scoured the internet for more info, but found nothing. So today I finally made it to Ms, and lo and behold there were HS inks. I bought the mint, and at first I was disappointed. So much so that I abandoned my project to play kitchen with baby girl (ok, it doesn't take much). When I walked past the project later, I was pleased to see that the image had smoothed itself out like the shadow inks. I am actually quite pleased and will be getting more. I just thought I would post here for anyone who was also curious.

We tried the navy blue one, it is awesome. Rich deep color.

Question, because I bought the mint ink pad and was not happy with it. When you (and other people) say these ink pads and the shadow inks smooth out, how long does that take? I've always thought it was a few minutes, but I gave this a few minutes and it was still really uneven. I haven't been happy with the HS ink pad or the shadow inks, which is a bummer because I really want to like them!

Haven't tried the inks but I heard the colours are different than the sprays. Loving the shine sprays though!! The inks were tempting but I held off for now.

I really like them. I bought all the colors except brown and black because I have faves of those colors in a different brand but I wanted to build my collection so I picked up 6 of them. I've only used some of the colors and at first the colors were blotchy on my clear stamped image but that eventually went away. I also like that they can stack on top of each other. The bad side is there's no refills for them and heard it's only limited supply of the whole line.

Wendifull, I am not sure how long it took for the ink to smooth, because I walked away. But I don't think it was too long. And I was using a solid stamp with very fine script running through it and was very impressed. I actually prefer it to my HA shadow inks. I would agree that the colors are not the same as the mists, because the mint is a true mint and the mist wasn't really.

I just did a review on my Instsgram feed. I only bought a Teal to try out. Just like the original poster said, it stamps dark and then fades to the original color. I love it. I use plain Recollections cardstock. The solid images were splotchy but evened out. Check out my Instagram feed (danieladobson) for a photo. I will try to upload a photo in a bit. Teal stamping

How much are they? Are they full pads or minis? Sets or individual?

Thanks!

They are $5.99 each, but you can use a coupon and get them for $3.49. They are sold individually (not in a set), and their are 8 colors available.

I LOVE these inks!

I had planned on making several trips to pick them up with coupons, but they are selling out fast. I called around to my local stores and some had none at all left, one had three colors left. And I was told they are not restocking. If you find them, I would recommend grabbing them while you can. I am super bummed, I can't find the navy anywhere!

I bought the navy and was really impressed by how smooth it was. I'd almost sworn off dye inks because of the blotchiness, but love this one. Might have to splurge on yellow and coral as well.
