I have made a few of the things I have pinned and liked them, but didn't know if anyone went through and deleted things they have done. Thanks for your thoughts! (It seems like cleaning out the filing cabinets...get rid of used things and things you don't need...)

Yes I do delete after I've created the item. I do that here in my bookmarks as well and on items I save on my computer/emails.

No, because I might still be inspired by them later.

I have a separate board for inspiration I've used. Once I scraplift a page or use a sketch, I move it to my Used board. That way, I still have it if I want it, but it's out of the way.

Yes.

I only pin things that I actually intend to do/use/buy.

I delete them when I have done/used/bought them.

I don't pin to copy, so no. Mostly I just skim through if I'm looking for inspiration. I'll pick out a layer here, or a configuration there, and get inspiration from that. Since I'm not "using" the whole layout, it all stays. I try to keep my folders small though, so I don't have to load, load, load while I'm trying to get inspired. Sometimes it works.

Nope, because sometimes I will want to make it again. I do go back though and edit my caption with any notes about how it turned out. I would only delete it if it was a horrible fail!

I keep mine since my layouts usually don't end up looking exactly the same as the inspiration or even as each other if I lift myself.

If I make something and I like how it turns out (I have only tried recipes so far), I transfer it to a board of things I have tried and liked. If I didn't like it I transfer it to a board of things I didn't like. The reason being, if I didn't like it I want to be notified that is already pinned, otherwise I might pin it and try it again.

I don't, because I am usually inspired by layouts in different ways at different times. But it's an interesting idea.

I usually delete a pin if it's for inspiration (esp if it was a scraplift) but if there's a tutorial attached, I'll keep it.

I edit the pin and put two --> ** at the front, so I know I've used it for inspiration. I usually don't copy a page completely.

It really depends.

With a scrapbook page, yes, usually I will delete it. If it's just a sketch of a layout, no. Same with card samples, unless I really saw a way I could do it multiple ways yet still felt I needed the original example.

With sketches, I keep them and will make a note re: how many times I've used it. Once I've used it in the original orientation, plus flipped it 3 times, I'm pretty much done with it.

I use pinned layouts for inspiration only. I don't actually copy any layout, just use it for a springboard for ideas.

I don't delete pins unless I can't figure out why I pinned something.
