So - here we go. I have been too busy scrapping to stop and take pix of my finished pretties. But I'll start this thread.
Gals, if you have finished LOs of the Super Sketch Club, link your pages here. This way, we can easily SEE our work and it won't get lost in the uber thread.
To Link:
Post your project to the gallery.
Before you leave the page, go up to your web browser and highlight the entire address. CTRL C to copy it.
Then come into this thread, select URL below and CTRL V to paste your address into the little box where it says http://.
Then hit OK and in the next box where it says "web page" type in your title. Say OK.
That creates a bunch of gibberish type in your message, but just go on. Space over a bit and then type anything you want to say. Hit SUBMIT and your post should have a blue hyperlink in it. You can click on it to test it.
ETA: To Upload, click GALLERY above and then UPLOAD PROJECT. It is fairly easy to do - it walks you through step by step.
ETA: I would say that as you want to add LO's to this thread, go into your post and click on the edit icon {diagonal pencil over a square, to the right of the date/time you posted}. Then you can type ETA {which stands for Edited To Add} and then you can add your new links. I think that would keep the thread more concise and compact and thereby allow for easy viewing!
Love Jennifer's work below. I have LOTS to photograph and add. DSLR is in VA for warranty work. | |

Thanks for doing this Penny. I can't wait to see everyone's layouts! I already have a few uploaded here so I'll link them. They are just like the sketches except for the number of photos in some. I love how all these pages are turning out using the kits!

Thanks so much for starting this thread. I would love to show the LO's that I have done but I don't even know how to post anything to the gallery. Is that easy enough too? Thanks for any help that you can give me.

Thanks for the kind words! Sharon, yes I cut the gears & the green monster with the Silhouette! It was my first project using it. The robot came with the paper line, but I added google eyes to both the monster & the robot. It was a swap requirement to use white CS as the base, and I was assigned a specific PP from the line, so I can't tell you how helpful the sketch was. This was also one of the only 2 page layouts I've ever done!
FYI...the sketch was from volumn 7. It is the 3rd sketch in the book. It was a sketch for 4 pictures, but I placed the monster in lieu of a 4th picture. I also omitted a title for now. |

I recognized the sketch. I have book 7 and it is one I use quite often. I love "shrinking" them down to 8x8. I do my LO's 12x12 then use my scraps to do a similar page for my daughter's 8x8 album.

I started making the companion mini-albums a year or so ago. My youngest is a tom-boy and not really interested in making them but loves looking at them. In addition, there are always leftover photos I don't use but cannot bear to get rid of.
From the Sketch Support site, my most used are double LO's #3 and #4. I use those a ton and have become quite good at changing them up here and there so they look different. |

Way to go Penny for setting up a Scrapbook Generations sketch site to show off work.... I can't wait to watch what people do. I did my first week's lessons tonight for the Sketch Support class. Now, since iphoto didn't not reboot when my hard drive was replaced I'm a little lost on how to post my class projects, but will get it figured out to participate.
I did 3 layouts tonight in 5 hours - that is a major record for me - presketch it would never have happened.

okay, so my LOs are not from the Super Sketch club, but they are from my newly purchased sketch books! I was so excited to get them!! turns out, scrapbook.com is local here in the Phoenix area (how did I not know that already?!?), and I drove there a couple days ago on my lunch break and picked up my order!! (that's actually a bad thing to know; it would be waaaay too easy to buy a ton of stuff!!)
anyway, here are my first layouts made from the books, along with a "process question" about assembling layouts made from the sketches.
national scrapbooking day 2-page layout from Book 8
oops! 1-page layout
my question has to do with measuring the pieces and assembling the "parts" onto the page; hopefully the question make sense the way I wrote :
When you assemble pieces for your layout background, do you "butt" them together, or overlap them? For example, the 2-page layout I linked gave instructions to cut 2 larger pieces for the background (tan and purple), then 3 skinny strips to accent the larger pieces. I butted the tan and purple pieces together, then overlapped the skinny strips on top of them, which ended up "narrowing" the area of purple that's visible... I think it looks okay, but I just wondered if there's a "preferred convention" for doing that??
thanks for looking at my layouts, and thanks in advance to anyone who answers my question!! |

Okay - I spend a large part of the day on this, so here goes.
God Gave Me You - an inspired lift from Super Sketch's blog hop, based off of Tammy Tutterow's interpretation of the sketch.
Letting Go Is Hard - this is one of their sketches and it may be from the A.D. class - or just one of their books.
Super Sketch Club Kits - ALBUM - I set up an album and will just load my completed Kit LO's into this album until it's full, then I'll start another. This is all of the kit club LO's I have completed thus far. I joined in March.
Gratitude for My Family - SG Add-On kit - I picked up this kit at Palooza. I think it's called the Debbie Sanders Scrapbook Generation Kit. I want to add the Hall of Fame and the SG kits to my sub as soon as I can swing it.
Allison Davis Scrap-a-Palooza class - loved taking this class and I got to sit next to Scoobers!
Family & Home - SG Add-On kit - another kit I picked up from the wonderful SG store during Palooza. This is a Debbie Sanders kit, I believe, vs. the Hall of Fame kit, if I remember correctly. |

I actually beat the heat! Ever the over-thinker, I realized I could stand on the guest bed - which has a french door in that room - and use that door's natural light! I was SO excited that I could actually shoot them all indoors. Tedious, still. There are a couple that are blurry, but I was over it by then and figured you could get the point. LOL. |

So I searched for this thread the other day and couldn't find it and I started my own and then nobody posted, we need to keep this up close to the top.
I just finished my first layout from the new kit. I really didn't think I would have anything for this, but I am happy with how it came out. July Sketch |
