thought i'd share my solution for viewing one's entire slice design library in a simple, clear format that utilizes your design card boxes too!

I love your idea. I went on the MM website and printed off the designs that are on the site for each design card. Then I matted them on to cardstock. Punched a hole in the corner and put a binder ring thru the hole. But I like your idea too. I still have my design card boxes. I may have to try it. Now to find a binder....

I threw away all my boxes, however, I photocopies the front and back of each little folder thingy, laminated them, punched a hole in the corner and popped them on a book ring.
I hang that up, on a hook above my 'slice station'
Easy to flick through them when looking for something specific.

I like your idea though!

Nice idea; lousy video.

Update: I have been called out, and rightly so. I was bitchy this morning. I apologize for my bitchiness, bluntness, whatever it was. It was uncalled for.

I'm sorry.

Yes, it gets a little shaky if that's what you mean... It's only my second video, first with a stationary camera. Still figuring out the best way to set that up. I didn't think it was too "lousy" to share.

I thought it was a good video! (So it is a little shakey. It is only your second. That's two more than I have ever posted!!)

I read your post and watched the entire video even though I do not have a Slice. I am always looking for organizational ideas that I can adapt for what I do have. Thanks for sharing!

I love this idea and thanks for sharing! I've never been very happy with the little Slice card binder. Don't have my boxes any more but can print the sheets from the MM website and put them in a binder. There's absolutely nothing wrong with your video's, in my opinion, and I look foward to seeing more of them!!!

People on the internet have no censor. If she had said it in person, it would have been considered bitchy, not blunt.

The video was fine in my opinion.

If I had a Slice, I'm sure I would have found your video most helpful. The "shaking" wasn't that bad. I was expecting either a very dark or a garbled video and it was none of those things. You don't know how many grateful Slice owners will thank you for sharing.

Hey just Lizzy....
If I remember correctly, not too long ago you had a bit of a mental wipe out over on NSBR board that you shared. I'm wondering how you might have felt if others came on and were ugly to you.

just curious.

caliscrap...
Just so you know i'm not interested in a pile on... I'll reiterate for you, that if you put things on the internet to share, some people will not like it. Youtube will be an awakening for you. Don't spend a great deal of time getting all butt hurt over someone not liking something you made and trying to get others on "your side".

Best thing you can do is make a mental note not to help out that person in any capacity, roll your eyes and move on.

Does anyone know where I can find a list of all the slice design cards? An updated list that is.

I'd like that too! I would also like to know where people are finding cards ? I like my little Slice but I always forget to use it. Guess I will hit YouTube again and take a look at some of the videos.

On a side note, Just Lizzy, that was very big of you to apologize. You could have just let your comment stand and you didn't. That takes courage and kindness.

c*ALI*scrap: Thanks for the video and idea!

Jen
