If so, I'd love to see them. I've done A Day In The Life type of layout and those were fun. I'm thinking about a summer theme. Maybe a July Journal? It's a little early but I'm working on not being such a procrastinator. |

I did for the month of October one year. No special reason except to capture a snapshot a day of real life.

That's where the beauty of getting most of it done beforehand comes in.

I am working on my December Daily for LAST year now. I have been thinking about doing one for October, too. I have little kids, so we do lots of fun stuff in Oct!

I've done one for October (fall), July (summer), and March (spring).
They make a nice "slice of life" look of the seasons, but I found them harder to do than December. We have birthdays and other traditions for those months, but not really enough to fill an album, so some days it really became "today we ran errands" and such. And last year I was so excited to make the July one and used bright, happy papers...and then it rained the entire month.

I do Shimelle's Learn Something New Every Day every September. I also enjoyed Birthday Week, a count down book to my birthday in February (believe me, it makes February a lot more fun!) I'm also planning a Wedding Preparation scrapbook to document THAT journey. |

I am participating in the "I'm Thankful For" thing going on right now where everyday you post something you are thankful for. I am going to scrapbook each of my posts. I thought that was a cute idea. |

I was totally thinking of doing this! Either for November with my daily gratitude posts or for January for the new year. I think you could do it for any month! Or all months if you are ambitious. |

That's crazy talk.
Thanks for all of your comments. I definitely want to do this for July and I'm going to think about maybe February. I have to do something to deal with those midwinter blues. |

I did a weekend once. My sister had C and we went to visit on weekends as much as we could. One weekend I took tons of photos of the mundane little things we did. My oldest DD thought I was being silly taking pictures of restaurants we went to, our food, traffic outside, the coffee shop, grocery store, hospital, farmers market, the newspaper on a door step, squirrels outside etc. I made a small 8x8 BoBunny mini book when I got home. Once she saw the finished book she thought it was pretty cool and was glad I made it. Now that I look back, I'm glad I made it too. I plan on doing a few more plus more here and there plus JYC books with Shimelle.

I did something similar in July of this year. I turned 25, so I did a special little thing for myself each day, and made an album of it.
I would like to do a month album that is more day to day life. I may have to plan one out for next year. |

I did an album for February all about me during February. It was great to do as it highlighted what I was like at that time of my life but I did journal heaps and I HATE my handwriting so I don't really like how it turned out.

I did a July album two years ago. I may have missed a day or two, and
it included all of our summer activities from June & August, as well. Maybe I'll do one again next year. |

Nope, but it sounds like a very good idea! I would choose the month of May, because we have many birthdays and events during that month and it would be fun to remember what we did! Thanks for the idea! |

I've never done a DD mostly because it is just way too hectic around here during that time of year. But I love the idea of doing one during another time of year. Summer seems like a great fit especially since we have lots of fun stuff that we do. Hmmm ... food for thought ... thanks for the ideas! |

I'm planning on doing a book for each season. Plus my December Daily book. I think it will easier for me to do the seasons rather then all the months b/c I don't have a lot of events to do through out the year. |

for this summer-vaccation I made a smash-a-like album of my own, with pretty paper, almost all of the paper was single-sided so I run it through my printer and added journallines on the back of the paper
During the vacation I kept a day-book with pictures ( I broght a selphy-printer) and journaling and added tickets, brochures m.m.
I finished it up the day after we got home - and I really love how it turned out
here is a link with pictures my summer-"smash"
the word is in danish, but pictures are international |

I have done a "Everyday in May" mini in 8x8 format a couple times. One was in 2005 and we moved from that house that August. It is really a recording of the last days in that house. I am grateful to have it. It didn't have a format - just a photo and some journaling.
I have also done one for March, my birthday. That one was a a 6x12 format. I did more writing and included one 2x3 photo a day on 2 green squares of cs.
I started one in July but was so busy that I never really got that far.
One thing that I find is that I get burnt out by the end of the month. Right now I'm doing 12 on the 12th. Some months are better than others. I try to take as many of my 12 pictures on that day, but if I miss I just take some from earlier or later in the month.

So call me crazy but after watching the divide and conquer class, I'm all pumped to do my 2012 p365 pics as a mini. I figured it would also have the trips we had as a few pages spread in it. We will see if I get around to actually doing it. |

I'm currently doing a 30 Days of Thankful, and as a side note, Cathy Zielske left me a comment (omg!) on my last post about it I figured only you guys would understand how excited I was about that!
30 Days of Thankful Mini Album
And while I love the idea of this, I find it pretty stressful to keep up. That's why my December "Daily" is more like a "Holiday Stuff" album, since we started this weekend and will go through New Year's Day. I just can't be pressured like that to have a photo each day. But a month's worth of stuff, totally.

I love the idea of doing a Daily in June. It is my birthday month and a bit of a milestone one for me in 2013. I like the idea of combining it as an all about me album! Plus we have lots of summer things going on too.
Oh now I am excited! I will have to remember to do this. |

Not exactly like December Daily, but I did something similar last year when my husband was deployed overseas as a civilian contractor. I made a Photo Album Scrapbook I called 120 Days and I documented our daily life here at home while he was gone. It's absolutely one of my favorite albums ever! |
