I never feel like my organization is right, or finished. As soon as I think I am close to getting everything working and perfect, I find that Im interested in a new set of supplies and I need to rethink the way I have things put out.
Is organization a constant process for you, or have you found something that works that you are sticking with? |

Yep, it's always evolving. I want to see all my inks, then I want them all in a container, and now I want the back out in the open on my work surface.
I try not to allow myself to spend a lot of time or expense on that reorganizing, but yes, I do fall into the "always reorganizing" category . |

I am always working on the way things are stored, where I store them and in what I store them.
I am like that with the furniture that I have and the way that I have the room set up. I am constantly changing things at home as well which drives hubby up the wall because as soon as he gets used to something I up and change it on him.
I just want my systems to work more effective or for my space to look better. |

Honestly, I love organizing. I love going through stuff - clothes or scrappy supplies, toiletries or food (in the sense that I have a dorm room). I just sharpened my patterned paper organization, and it feels great.

If I start outgrowing my organization, then there is shifting and moving around but I usually have things pretty much the way I like them.
Having said that, I am almost at storage saturation point for embellishments so I will be resorting very soon! |

Yes!
I've barely scrapped in an age, but I'm feeling the pull of it at the moment. I can't do a thing until I reorganised though. For one, if I'm honest I have too much. And some things I've never really found a satisfactory way of storing. Last night I started on my ribbons, which used to be organised but had degenerated into a big old mess just stuffed in a drawer. Eventually I might get to a point at which I feel able to scrap again! |

No. Once I FINALLY got it right (for me) a couple of years ago, it's pretty much stayed the same, with very few exceptions. And all of my containers, baskets, drawers, etc are pretty full, so I know if I start collecting up something else, I need to get something new to put it in. I have pretty much been in "use up" mode, rather than "buy up" mode for awhile now also, so that helps too.
Recently, I moved to my new home, added a craft table and one of those wall units (like the old MM ones). I did very little rearranging of some surface items, like my tool drawers, but that's about it really.
I find that keeping things in the same general area helps me remember what I have, and that knowing where it is when I need it helps me actually USE it. If I have to stop and hunt for an item, I am likely to give up and go on to something else. But I am just lazy like that. |

I have gotten to the point where everything stays pretty much the same - paper, tools, thickers, alpha stickers, twine/ribbon. - and I'm really happy with their organization / placement in my space.
The one thing that is ALWAYS evolving is the other "stuff" - journalling spots, chipboard embellishments, tags, and other "pieces". I just went from sorting things by color to sorting them by type. We'll see how that works out.
I have discovered I need to have things "visible" - that is, not in closed containers. I like to leaf through things to find the perfect thing. Sorting that extra "stuff" has proved to be a challenge. I am in the last day or two of getting it all ready and then I can scrap. That will be the true test and I'll really find out what works and what doesn't.
Having said all that ... I DO love organizing. It's right up there with scrapping and shopping for scrapping stuff!! |

I'm constantly reorganizing my scrappy stuff. I think it's partially because scrapbook stuff is just so darn fun to touch and sort through. I think it's fun to go through all my stash and sometimes I end up inspired to use something while organizing. |

I know exactly what you mean, OP. I've re-organized several times throughout the years but I never stay satisfied with said re-organization for long. I'm constantly surfing YouTube to find new things to try, new techniques and supplies, and I feel that once my room is re-organized, all it takes is one project or two and it's back to being a mess again. I have limited space and tons of stuff. The challenge for me is to arrange it so that I know where everything is and those things I use most are within reach. But the problem is, those "most used" items tend to change with my ever-evolving crafts. My re-organization always seems to be one step behind my scrapping/crafting. I keep telling myself...one of these days - maybe when I retire. We'll see.

A bit of both really.
I do love to organize, I joke that I let things get out of hand, just so I can re-organize again, lol.
Most of my supplies are stored in the same area, then it is easier to find. But I do like to go and re-arrange as well.
I am really into stamping and colouring right now, so my stamps storage has to be re-thought.
I am also loving the 6x6 paper pads, so need a great way to store them as well.

I don't love it as much as I used to. I don't have as much play time as I used to. Now I wish my paper could march back to their places. I try to leave a clean table after every page so my organization is pretty kept. It has it's faults that I would love to fix but I really have no time or space. |

Ditto to what Nancy said. I think for some of us that have a decent stash of supplies, we can't possibly remember all we had, so it is fun to go through your supplies and reacquaint yourself with what you have in there. I know I tend to forget about different things I have.

Oh yeah, that's me. Like some other posters I prefer things to be visible, but I have very limited space to have stuff out, otherwise I end up with no work surface at all! I shouldn't complain, I do at least have a scrap room which is more than a lot of people have, but I have magpie tendencies and low impulse control too so I still have too much stuff for the space I have |

I did a major re-organise with the Organise your stuff Challenge last year, so I'm mostly good to go for a while. I have, however, discovered Mr Huey's mists and am getting more into stamping, so that is throwing my organisation a bit.
Need to find more space for inks, a heat gun and mists. Out where I can see them. Um. |
