Hi!

I'm working on a mini, and I'd like to adhere a postcard, glossy finish, to the see through polypropylene front cover.

What adhesive do you think will work better for this??

I have double sided tape, Modge Podge, PVA, Glossy Accents, Gel Medium, and I may have some other.

THANKS SO MUCH

Waiting with you for the answer to this

But what I want to do is adhere my paper to the back so that you see it 'thru' the clear cover.

I'm not sure I'm visualizing exactly what you want to do. The postcard is going on top of the clear cover? or underneath to show through the front? Either way I think Glossy Accents may be your best bet. It has a super strong hold and it dries clear. I would smooth it around with my finger to get coverage all the way to the edge. It also helps it to dry clear when there isn't a beaded line, but a smooth bit of glue.

Hope that helps!

Thats kind of a tough one. I get exactly what you're saying. Honestly, I'd want to use an adhesive that is going to remain clear and not break down over time, so I'd suggest a good quality artists adhesive - maybe archival clear double sided sticky sheet like this. There are two there, I'd get the archival type.

Otherwise, I'd experiement with the gel medium (it drys clear) or the glossy accents mentioned (though to be honest, I've seen glossy accents go yellow over a few years) and see what happens on a transparency and patterned paper for about 12-24 hrs.

What my understanding is, you want to adhere the clear sheet on top of the glossy side of the post card.

If that is the case, I would use a clear double sided tape, and just put it on the edges.
Or put brads in the corners to attach the two of them together.

Thanks to all who answered to my question

Since I've been working on my albums for a few days now, I've found the easiest way to do fix my "problem".

As I've built some pages and figure out how many pockets I'm going to fill more or less, I've just cut to size the postcard and put it in the first pocket

I'll show you the whole album once is finished

THANKS!!!!
